Story
Obsidian (Obi for short) is the most sweetest, smartest, and loving kitten in Windsor. This poor baby was abandoned and we found him in the streets cold, malnourished, and sick. We took him in and gave him a temporary home and took him to the vet to make sure he has the proper nutrition and medication in order for him to be healthy again. He is a happy and healthy kitten now who is very well behaved (uses the litter box easily) and loves to play with wand toys. He’s a curious boy and will be interested in what you’re doing at all times, but he’s very polite. He needs a home who will love him and care for him like their own baby, because who knows what horrors and traumas he’s experienced out on his own already. Please please please save this soul!

Story
Hello, I`m Princess. This shelter is my temporary home. I was surrendered with my daughter Mimi because our previous humans didn`t have enough time for us. Mimi and I are not bonded but it would be nice to go to a new home together. I`m quite the independent lady, preferring quiet moments to myself. I enjoy observing my surroundings calmly, and I cherish my alone time. However, I do appreciate gentle affection and will warm up to a kind soul who understands my need for space. My ideal home would be peaceful, where I can relax and be myself without too much fuss. If you`re looking for a serene companion who respects mutual space, I might just be the perfect addition to your life.

Story
Hi, my name is Bagheera. I’m a very fearful guy and may hiss at first, but please don’t let that scare you away—I’m truly a sweetheart underneath it all. Once I feel safe, I absolutely love being petted and scratched, and I’ll happily rub my face and body against you when I want more affection. I recently had my front right limb removed, and I’m learning to navigate the world on three legs. I’m doing really well and adjusting more each day (if I do say so myself!). With a little patience and understanding, my charming personality really shines through. I’m looking for a calm, compassionate home with someone who’s willing to take things slow and let me move at my own pace. If you give me the time I need, I promise the bond we build will be something truly special. Adopt me, and let’s create a beautiful life together.

Story
Hi, I’m Ludwika! I’m a friendly but shy girl looking for a quiet forever home. I lived outdoors during warm months and came inside when it was cold, with no litter box issues indoors. I’m afraid of dogs and a bit territorial, so I must be the only pet. I enjoy affection on my own terms—I love lap time, gentle pets, and being picked up when I choose. When I’ve had enough, I’ll simply walk away. I don’t like tummy touches and prefer a calm, low-noise environment. I enjoy relaxed evenings watching TV with my people and do well with respectful children, though I can be a little timid at first. If you’re looking for a sweet, independent companion who appreciates peace and companionship, I could be your perfect match.

Story
Hi… I’m Baby. I came to the shelter after being surrendered because there were too many animals in the home. I didn’t get much chance to be properly socialized, so the world feels pretty overwhelming to me right now. Here in the shelter, I’m very scared and timid. I tend to hide where I feel safest, and sometimes I might let out a small hiss or worried meow when I’m frightened — it’s just my way of saying I’m unsure, not that I’m mean. What I truly need is a calm, patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. With a quiet home, gentle routines, and lots of understanding, I’ll slowly learn that I’m safe and loved. I may not be the cat who runs up for attention right away, but with patience and compassion, I have the potential to blossom into a sweet companion. If you have a soft heart, a peaceful space, and the willingness to let me go at my own pace, I would love the chance to feel safe and finally call a place home.

Story
Hi, I`m Ozzy. I cherish my quiet moments but also seek a gentle touch. I`ve grown to appreciate the soft whispers and slow approaches of kind humans here. While I may not leap into your lap immediately, I promise to be a loyal companion, observing quietly and offering my company. In a calm home, I`ll thrive and share more of my independent yet affectionate spirit. If you`re looking for a serene friend who respects space yet provides silent support, I might just be your perfect match.
