We do our best to provide information that will help determine if the animal might be a good fit for you. Please note that behaviors may change in a home environment. We also ask our applicants to assume that any animal they adopt from us will need to be potty-trained and learn house manners, although this is not always the case. In most cases, the listed breeds are also a best guess. Our online animal bios are designed to provide as much information as possible and answer some anticipated questions. We do not have the resources to respond to emails with more specific questions. We are receiving an unusually high number of applications at this time! Applications are reviewed as they are received, but we do not select adopters on a first-come basis. Our job is to ensure each pet is placed into the best fit home for them and that adopters are paired with an animal that is a good fit for their lifestyle. All animals will stay on Petfinder until they are “pending adoption”. Therefore, if an animal is still listed, we are still accepting applications for him/her! Please do not send inquiries about a specific animal's availability as this can change quickly over the course of the day. The fastest way to get a response is to simply submit an application! Jay Short Hair Black and White Neutered Male Estimated Birthdate: 9/2/2014 Hi there, my name is Jay! I thought I had a great life outdoors until a good Samaritan rescued me. Now, food is always available here and there is no scrounging around for it anymore. And this invention called heat is amazing, no more facing the harsh elements. And I don't have to sleep with one eye open, if I want to, I can sleep all day and night with no worries. While I am acclimating to my new surroundings, I'm still a little scared and timid. I am affectionate, though, and like other cats. I hope you have a little patience and will give me a chance to be yours furever! Jay is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for FeLV, and treated for parasites. He is FIV positive. His adoption fee is $125. Do you have room in your heart and home for this cute boy? Please checkout this link for more info on FIV: https://resources.bestfriends.org/article/fiv-cats-faqs-feline-immunodeficiency-virus Fill out our online application to get approved for a meet and greet: http://www.tigerlilyrescue.com/adoption-application/

Story
Frankie Short Hair Brown Tabby & White Neutered Male Estimated Birthdate: 1/5/2019 Hi, my name is Frankie. I was wandering around my neighborhood because my family didn't want me. Another kind neighbor left me food out everyday and finally took me in. She couldn't keep me, so a good Samaritan stepped in to foster me. I act more like a dog sometimes. I come when my name is called. I greet people at the door, I beg, and I follow my caregiver around a lot. But most of the time, I act like a cat, loving catnip, jumping into empty boxes, curious about everything, and watching the wildlife from my patio door. I'm loving life. Love, Frankie Frankie is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and treated for parasites. His adoption fee is $125. Story
May Short Hair Black Spayed Female Estimated Birthdate: 7/16/2021 Meet beautiful May! This sweet feline was found living as a stray and when her rescuer (now foster) began providing food, it was discovered she was pregnant. In the first few weeks, she was quite confused, but with patience and love, her gentler, playful nature began to shine through. After successfully delivering and raising her kittens, she is now ready for her furever home. She is friendly on her own terms. She is a bit of a gentle nipper, especially when she is hungry, so we think she would do best with adults and older children that understand how to interact with her. She is playful and enjoys chasing after anything attached to the end of a string. She also loves to lay on cardboard. May's new family must understand cats and have the patience while earning her trust. She is a wonderful cat who deserves a loving home. We think she would be happiest being your only pet and the center of your attention. May is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and treated for parasites. Her adoption fee is $125. Do you have the purrfect home for this beautiful girl? ** CURRENTLY AVAILABLE AS FOSTER TO ADOPT/ FOR ADOPTION- Arthur's cardiologist has recommended against neutering at this time; should this change, Tigerlily will cover the cost of neutering. ** Captain Arthur Hastings Short Haired White and Grey Male Estimated Date of Birth: Aug 22, 2023 Hi, everybody! I’m Arthur, and I’m the adorkable boy of your dreams! I came to Tigerlily with my mama and sisters after a nice person brought us inside and contacted animal control. I was just a wee boy then with my eyes barely open, so the comforts of inside and home life are all I’ve ever known. I’m a loud-purring, super-playful boy who loves toys and playing fetch! I will happily play fetch with a rattle mouse or catnip puff until I’m ready to nap. Since my mama and sisters were adopted, I’ve been spending time with my foster cat siblings, especially my foster uncle, who likes to cuddle and play with me. I definitely want a friendly cat companion in my forever home. I could live with older, cat-savvy human kids, but not little kids. I have a rare heart condition called endomyocardial fibrosis, along with other cardiac issues. I see a cardiologist and take medication twice a day, but I have no restrictions on my activity! I can play as much as I want to. My cardiologist says that I might have a shorter life than other cats, but nobody can know for sure (she knew a senior cat with my condition). I am determined to have the best life I can and to do as much as I can with whatever time I have. Life is good! I love to cuddle with my foster mama or just sit right by her while she works. I give kisses and purrs on command, and I soak up praise for my long legs and silky soft fur. I’m ready for a forever home that is as special and loving as I am! Are you my purrfect purrson? Love, Arthur Arthur's cardiologist has recommended against neutering at this time - should that change, the surgery will be covered by Tigerlily. He is vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and treated for parasites. His adoption fee is $125. Do you have room in your heart and home for this sweet boy? Lola (with Georgie) Short Hair Orange & White Spayed Female Estimated Birthdate: 7/5/2023 Meet adorable Lola! She is very curious, sweet, and playful. She is very helpful with dishes by making sure the dishwasher is loaded correctly. She loves to play with string and hunt her toy mice. She is shy around new people, but a good head rub behind the ears will help put her at ease. Lola will nibble from time to time, so she would do best in a home with older children. Lola gets along very well with other cats with proper introductions. She would love to be adopted with sister and best friend, Georgie! Story
This cat was dumped on me after my sister failed to care for it (I was a minor at the time), she lived with me in my room as she was extremely shy and hid from the young children and other pets of the home. During that time she behaved wonderfully. Since then I have had to leave home and due to my current living situation I cannot keep her locked up in a room anymore and she has begun to pee on the carpet outside of her litter box. When she is separated from other pets and young children she does wonderfully and uses her box. Her pee problem is not territorial or spraying, it is a squat. It's purely a stress response. She would do wonderfully in a home without young children or other animals. She is shy but incredibly sweet once she is comfortable. Even with the other pets she is sweet she just wont properly use the litter box. I just want her to go to someone who wont hurt her.
