What can I say I'm a beautiful sleek silky black Diva. I'm hoping to find a furever home with a kitten or cat buddy. I love all my foster friends. I even live among dogs. I'm looking for a special family. I am very shy. My foster mom keeps saying I've come a long way. I was a very frightened kitten when she took me in. It took me several months to warm up to her. I still don't like being picked up but I do like my scratches and lots of petting. I would need a room to hang out in until I got adjusted to my new digs. I love my treats and my laser toy. That is so we can get use to different surroundings. I used to be growly and hissy. I am still on the shy side. I would do best in a quiet home, a house without kids. Ivy approximate birthdate July 2017. Ok with cats and dogs... About me... People always talk about new year, new you right? Well I say how about adding on a new companion to that new you groove? The last few years have been stressful, so why not start your morning with a nice relaxing cup of coffee with me perched in your lap. I can make you feel even more relaxed while you give me a morning facial. I relax you, you relax me. You get a great start to your day, do your thing nd conquer your goals. Then at the end of the day we unwind on the couch, I can get another facial while we watch one of those romance movies or something like that. Well, okay you can really watch it, I'll just enjoy your attention. You see, I can't that well. And while I do have partial vision in my eyes, my specialist person said that my eyes will never be able to be fixed. Kinda sad huh? Makes me wanna tear up, which I do....a lot. My eyes tear a lot, and make my fur stained, so my eyes have to be wiped and cleaned on a regular basis. Hence my request for some facials. But I'm a grateful girl and am very good about you wiping my eyes, I really do appreciate it. And these tears don't stop me from wanting to play with you, be goofy, and bond with you! Julia was found huddled near Allen Road with her sister and scared to death. Her owner passed away, leaving no one to take care of the girls. Family put them outside when it was time to clear the house. Julia and her sister (Bunny) are plus sized cats and not very energetic. As middle aged cats, they prefer to spend their days lounging, soaking up the sun through the window and being gently brushed. Mary can be very sweet and loving, and has the most delightful little coo in her purr. She will also scream at you if you displease her (ie., pet her belly without permission). She loves to snuggle in the bed at night. She is fascinated with the bath tub. She loves to "help" with household chores, such as making the bed and folding laundry. Mary came to us with what was suspected to be a broken front leg. That turned out to not be the case; we are not sure if she was injured in a different way or if this is congenital. The leg does not seem to bother her at all; in fact, it seems to be her dominant paw. It definitely does not slow her down in the slightest. Mary gets along with her fellow foster cats, but needs a lot of time to get used to anyone she doesn't already know. She seems to dislike male cats. Todd is such a calm, chill guy! He is the type of cat who likes to watch the commotion, not be directly in it. During adoption events, you will find him relaxed, surveying the room. He is bonded to his sister Sassy, and they have been in the rescue for almost an entire year! That is no way to grow up, and it is so sad to know he has been in foster home to foster home that entire time. Todd is great with kids, cats, dogs, and loves to relax with whoever is on the couch chilling. He really loves to bird watch, and to cuddle up while the tv plays. HI! My name is Apricot! I am a sweet orange tabby, who likes to take in my surroundings, but I think I warm up just fine! I came to the rescue with my brother, Clementine, and we are so thankful to have been helped! We love to show that appreciation by making biscuits and playing with our toys. We were told to say there is a discount if we get adopted together, but we aren't bonded and can be split up. My ideal home would have lots of toys to play with, and a window that has a spot I can sit in to watch birds and wildlife. I get along well with other cats, and could get used to your dog if you introduce us properly. I don't mind kids either, as long as they are respectful to me. All in all, I'd like to think I'm just a go with the flow type of guy. Adoption fee for safety. In November she stumbled upon my porch so I took her in due to winter approaching and I couldnt stand to leave her out in the cold. Im due to have a baby in August and I cant afford to take her to necessary checkups/ get spayed. I want her to have a nice home who can afford to the the things for her that I can’t. She is a little over a year old im guessing because she looked like an older kitten when I found her.
