Story
Missy is a gorgeous and calm kitty that loves to watch the world. Missy needs a very special adopter who may want to adopt her as a friend for another kitty or to allow her to just do her own thing. She does not want much interactions with humans, and may never be a kitty that comes to you for affection or to cuddle, but absolutely loves other kitties! She is quiet (never heard her meow!) and very playful with interactive toys. Her favorite thing is laying on the window perch watching the birds and the world and soaking up a little sun! She will not allow you to pet her or hold her (she will run), but she doesn't mind if you're in the room with her. Her siblings, Casper and Ardent love humans, but she never wanted that interaction, even as a young kitten. If you are interested in giving Missy a home where she can just be herself with no pressure for affection, please contact us! She is fixed, FIV/FeLV negative, microchipped and up to date on her 1st year vaccines.

Story
Kamiyah is a super sweet girl! She has lived with a toddler and other cats and does well with both. She could go to a home with another friendly cat or be an only cat. She is independent but also loves to snuggle with her humans. She often sleeps with her human foster brother! Kamiyah is super food orientated....she hasn't met a snack she doesn't like! She is super curious and adventuresome and LOVES to play! Kamiyah is FIV+, but that is not a big deal! It just means her immune system is not quite as strong and most cats so she will need a couple of immune boosting supplements, regular vet care, and a good diet to help keep her healthy! It will not prevent her from living with another cat(s), as long as proper/slow introductions are done to make sure they get along! Kamiyah is up to date on vaccines, dewormed, and microchipped. She is currently being fostered in Taylor.

Story
Isadora, AKA Izzy, was discovered when she started to come and eat at one of our outreach houses. After a couple of weeks, we took her in for TNR. It was then we discovered how friendly she was! Now she is living the good life inside! Izzy is good with other cats. She needs very slow introductions with large dogs. However, she tolerates the smaller dogs in her foster home. She is the point that she just ignores the bigger dog and no longer hisses. Any dogs in her home would need to be cat savvy and calmer...meaning they won't chase her around. 🙂 Izzy has done well with children 7 and up. She won't likely appreciate the high energy and impulsive nature of littles younger than that. ;) She can be shy at times and may retreat to get some quiet time, but she also comes out for attention and pets when she is ready! The longer she is in her foster home, the more relaxed she is becoming. She can be playful with toys or just chill. She has newly discovered the window perch and she loves to lay in it, soaking up the son and watching the world! Izzy is up to date on vaccines, dewormed, microchipped and FIV/FeLV negative. She is currently being fostered in Southgate.

Story
Grumpy is part of the "Seven Dwarfs" Litter. She is not quite ready for adoption, as she is a little too young yet, but he will be ready soon! Feel free to send an inquiry to start the process! Grumpy (or Grumps as we affectionately call her!) is not Grumpy at all! She is a super sweet girl who loves to snuggle with you or sit on your shoulder! She is the runt of the litter and is significantly smaller than her siblings. However, she doesn't let that stop her! She loves to chase them and play just as much! She will come and sit on your feet and let you know she wants some snuggle time, too! She loves toys and is super adventurous! NOTE: While it is not necessarily a "requirement" for kittens to go into homes with another kitten/cat, we highly recommend it. It helps keep the kitten company while you are away (they get lonely as babies!) and can prevent some unwanted behavioral issues. Young kittens always do better with a sibling or other similar aged kitten, or in a home with another young and playful cat/kitten. We do offer discounts on adopting a pair together!

Story
Winston is a super sweet boy who came to us from a local shelter after his mama was adopted out. He is very shy at first and will need a patient adopter who will give him the time to become comfortable in his new home. He is extremely talkative and has the cutest little voice and doesn't meow. He has such a big personality and is so funny to watch! He absolutely LOVES other cats, especially adults and will affectionately rub all over them! Having another social kitty friend in the home is essential! If you don't have another cat, he can be adopted with one of his foster siblings....Casper would be a great companion! Winston absolutely loves interactive toys like laser beams, battery operated mice, etc. He also like interactive treat toys. Winston does allow petting, but on his terms. He prefers you pet him when one of his kitty friends is with him. Or, he "calls" you to the door (I keep the door cracked open for him to interact through) so he can rub on your hand when you put it through to him. As he gets comfortable, it is possible he will become even more affectionate, but right now this is his level of comfort with his foster. Because of being shy, Winston would prefer a quieter home without young kids. He has been exposed to a large, cat-friendly dog through the door, but has not directly interacted with her. He may do well with a friendly, cat-savvy dog who won't chase him and will let him rub on him! :) Winston is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed and FIV/FeLV negative. He is currently fostered in Warren and is available for adoption or foster-to-adopt.

Story
Penelope, AKA Penny, walked right up to one of our outreach people and followed her to get food. She hung around and we were going to TNR her, but once in our care we discovered how absolutely sweet and affectionate she is! She wants all the pets and snuggles! She is super playful and just loves toys! It is unclear if Penny is good with other cats or dogs. She can see other cats through her glass door of the foster room, but her foster says she often hisses if the cats come up to the door. She can hear dogs bark in her foster home but has not interacted with them. Penny does have FIV but that is not a big deal. It just means her immune system is not as strong as most cats and she will need a couple of supplements to keep her immune system boosted and healthy. She will be able to live a normal life with proper nutrition and regular vet care. Currently Penny has only 6 teeth. She has a genetic disorder that has caused her to lose most of the teeth. We are working on getting her remaining 6 teeth pulled, as they need to also come out. Penny will remain as a foster-to-adopt until her teeth have been removed (hopefully soon!). Penny is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed. She is currently being fostered in Monroe.
