[PLEASE NOTE Cats in these pictures, may or may not be available for adoptions] Cat Rescue & Adoption Network foster families give their kitties lots of TLC and attention. Because of that, we have very well socialized cats that are readily adopted. We always need more fosters to help fulfill our mission of helping rescue special needs animals. Fosters are provided with all the food, bedding and litter the cat needs. We also pay all their medical expenses. Your part is to give them love and attention and how hard can that be? This is the perfect opportunity to have a pet without a life time commitment. Fostering lasts anywhere from one week to several months and YOU get to choose whether you foster bottle babies, kittens or adult cats AND how many. If you live in the Eugene/Springfield, Oregon area and have love to spare for these kitties, please call 541-225-4955 Option 4, or fill out a foster application at: www.CatRescues.org/forms/cat-foster-applicationApril 27, 2024, 8:30 pm

Story
Beautiful PHINEAS and FERB are a wonderful pair of young brothers. Fashionable FERB is a black and white tuxedo with an adorable face. He's a little shy at first, but once he warms up, he will roll over for belly rubs and he'll push his sweet face into your hands for head rubs. PHINEAS is a stunning, sleek black panther who will quickly let you know what a party boy he really is! He loves to follow his foster mom around the house, squeaking for attention and treats!  These boys love to catch stringy toys, climb on the cat tree, and romp around the house with each other—then when they’re worn out, they cuddle up together at nap time.  They have been living in a loving foster home with other cats and friendly dogs.  These sweet boys have fun personalities, and would prefer a calm home where they can relax and enjoy their forever people. PHINEAS and FERB have been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, are negative for FeLV and FIV, and include a free wellness visit with our vet partners. To meet Phineas and Ferb in foster care, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at Petsmart. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 days for a possible meet and greet. The $260 adoption fee for the pair allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. For more information, send an email to AdoptInfo@CatRescues.org or call 541-225-4955 option 1. Story
Chirrup! I'm MOCHA, a handsome black and white tuxedo young adult male cat. I am super smart and can give high fives and sit on command. My new favorite thing is cuddling with my foster family in bed for pets. I purr so loudly! I’d love a family who would let me sleep with them. During the day, I just love watching squirrels and birds out the window before napping in my bed. I'm a little backwards from other cats; the base of my tail is the first place I'll let you pet me. Sometimes, I even walk backwards towards my foster mom so she knows where I want to be scratched. My sense of humor is off the charts, and I promise to make you smile, especially during playtime. I love batting at any type of wand toy, and I'll balance on the arm or back of the office chair to make it even more challenging and silly. I also go crazy for those plastic spring toys. My foster mom complements me in how well behaved I am during nail trims; I don't even notice what she's doing half the time. Other cats and even dogs make me happy, so I need to go to a home with other four legged friends to keep me company. I bet I'd even love non-traditional pets, but please no young children. I am slow to warm up to new people, and I’m still learning that it’s okay to hop up on the couch for attention. Do you have the patience to help me overcome my insecurities? I promise to reward you for it, and when we build up trust, I'll even happily let you pet my belly. MOCHA has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (negative), neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and includes a free wellness vet visit with our vet partners. To meet Mocha in foster, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at the store. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 days for a possible meet and greet. The $145 adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. Story
Spirited, independent, doesn't want petting on back, but head and ears fine. Mostly flippant and can be a tease with other cats, 'specially females, but is not mean just shows off his bravado. Likes on to be top of your bed, goes outside when it suits him. I feed him indoors and clean water twice a day. He tends to be lazy but knows the words 'off' and 'outside'. He will play with a feather teaser but be if you choose to pet him he is quick with his claws. He is 3-4 years of age. I adopted him from Forest Valley Vet at 5mo along with another cage mate Jema. I have his vet records to go with him
