Story
OLIVE   BREED: Domestic Medium Hair AGE: 3 years old WEIGHT: 9 lbs.   Olive is a lovely, medium/long haired lady.    When she arrived to Wiggly Tails, on transport, she was quite traumatized. She wanted nothing to do with her foster family and made that very clear. They gave her space, food and water, then slowly but surely she found her footing. Now she is totally comfortable, loves contact with humans and happily shares space with other cats and kittens in her foster home.    Olive will make a wonderful furry companion.   To further inquire about OLIVE, click on the link to submit an application. Tell us about yourself, family, other pets, and how OLIVE will mesh with your lifestyle.    Qualifying applicants will be contacted by our Adoption Coordinator with next steps and an opportunity to set up a Meet & Greet.    Our process is NOT a “first come, first served” process. (We DO NOT hold pets for later consideration.) Our team carefully reviews and interviews applicants for the best possible fit for each adoptable pet, and potential family. We look forward to facilitating a positive and solid adoption for OLIVE, as well as her future family.   *Fostered in Eugene/Springfield, Oregon   https://wigglytails.org/adoption-application/ ##1729507##

I would probably do best in a home without a dog.How do you feel about kids? I would do best in an adult only home. What was your previous home like? I came from an indoor home with another cat. What’s your ideal home like? A home where I can have lots love and the care I deserve. Is there anything else we should know about you? Do you like other cats? I lived with another cat in my previous home but it is unknown how well we got along. I may do well with another cat after a slow, thorough introduction process. What do you think about living with a dog? I have no known history with dogs. I may do well with an older, calm, cat-savvy dog after a slow, thorough introduction. How do you feel about kids? I can be a little nervous and may do best in an adult only home where things are quieter. What was your previous home like? Little is know about my past home. What’s your ideal home like? One where I can receive the love and affection I desire. I may express interest in outdoor access, however, I may be satisfied with an indoor environment with enough enrichment. Is there anything else we should know about you? Ask Cattery staff about my medical release!

I`m available for adoption and will be ready to go home once I get spayed/neutered! You can read about my condition and needs below. I have ringworm (feline dermatophytosis), a very common, treatable skin infection. Despite the name, it is a fungal infection having nothing to do with worms. I might have an itchy rash on my skin that will look like a circle on the infected area. I am undergoing treatment at the shelter but hoping to find my forever family now to continue healing in my new home! I think my recovery would be a lot quicker and more comfortable in a home. My adoption price is discounted and you will receive supplies and resources needed to get started. Learn more about ringworm and treatment at https://www.green-hill.org/ringworm-in-cats-treatment/Kittens need more attention and socialization during their first 6 months of life and adopters should plan to provide this type of care. We recommend adopting 2 kittens at a time to help with socialization! My adoption fee includes being spayed/neutered, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more! Give us a call if you`d like to talk with a staff member more about adopting a kitten with ringworm!

Story
YIN (female) and YANG (male) are a bonded pair of adorable black and white tuxedo young adult kitties with the cutest pink noses. Yin is a friendly and cuddly kitty who loves to play, especially with a feather wand, balls, or tumbling around with Yang.  She will quickly accompany you on the couch or the bed for pets and snuggles. She is quick to open up to people, and is fiercely protective of her brother. Yang is a sweet but more timid kitty who loves to chase his sister around the house and is very dependent on her. He is the first to remind you that it’s mealtime! Yang loves to lay on top of his sister and then they groom each other. YANG has sebaceous gland dysplasia which means his body doesn't make enough of the oils to coat his fur and skin. As a result, his hair is thin and discolored, particularly on his feet and around his nose and mouth. This doesn’t affect his health or personality at all—his condition is stable, and does not require any ongoing care.  His imperfect looks are very endearing. Yin and Yang are the cutest couple with the most precious bond. They will warm your heart and make you laugh They have been altered, vaccinated, microchipped, are negative for FeLV and FIV, and include a free wellness visit with our vet partners. To meet YIN and YANG in foster care, please fill out an Adoption Application for consideration at catrescues.org/adopt, and an adoption counselor will contact you in 3 to 5 days for a possible meet-and-greet. The $225 adoption fee for the pair allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. Story
******SPECIAL NEEDS KITTY******  BENNY LEW is a gentle grey and white tuxedo special needs male cat looking for a loving and caring forever home. He’s a playful couch potato who enjoys playing with a dangling toy then snuggling up to a window to watch birds and rest. He loves to play with his springs and catnip mice. Benny Lew is very "food" motivated. He gets along OK with most of  his fellow foster cats, but would do best as an only cat. Benny Lew is considered a special needs cat due to having diabetes, which seems to wax and wane (he is currently on insulin 2X a day).  He will also need to be on a special diet for his lifetime. Although he is considered an older adult cat, Benny Lew will be a loving companion for many years to come. He was surrendered to our rescue and we’ve been delighted to see his personality blossom. Benny Lew’s cool and playful demeanor will make him the perfect house cat for your home. Please consider giving Benny Lew a forever home today!  Benny Lew has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. To meet Benny Lew in foster, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at the store. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 days for a possible meet and greet. The $70 adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. Story
Beautiful FERB and PHINEAS are a wonderful pair of young brothers. Fashionable FERB is a black and white tuxedo with an adorable face. He's a little shy at first, but once he warms up, he will roll over for belly rubs and he'll push his sweet face into your hands for head rubs. PHINEAS is a stunning, sleek black panther who will quickly let you know what a party boy he really is! He loves to follow his foster mom around the house, squeaking for attention and treats!  These boys love to catch stringy toys, climb on the cat tree, and romp around the house with each other—then when they’re worn out, they cuddle up together at nap time.  They have been living in a loving foster home with other cats and friendly dogs.  These sweet boys have fun personalities, and would prefer a calm home where they can relax and enjoy their forever people. Ferb and Phineas have been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, are negative for FeLV and FIV, and include a free wellness visit with our vet partners. Story
BEAU and MAMACITA are a marvelous mother and son bonded pair of kitties looking for a loving home.  Mamacita has a beautiful mix of calico and tabby markings, while Beau is white with orange tabby spots (a cow kitty).  They are fond of Churu treats and adore a front row seat for Cat TV (aka, a window to look out of).  Beau also loves little toys that he can throw around and chase.  Mamacita came to CRAN as a rescue with a litter of kittens, and with Beau, her oldest baby from a previous litter.  All her other kittens have found homes, and now it’s this pair's turn to find a devoted home to enjoy some rest and relaxation.  Mamacita and Beau are both still shy and need an adopter who is willing to create a quiet and safe space for them to acclimate to their new home and get their bearings.  Both are very sweet, and it will be so worthwhile to give them some time to adjust to their surroundings.  They will reward you in spades with their sweet faces and affection! Mamacita and Beau have been altered, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners.  To meet Mamacita and Beau in foster care, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at PetSmart. Story
Meet Bootsie – the grateful lap cat with a huge heart! After years surviving outdoors, this sweet boy finally knows what it feels like to be safe and loved — and he’s so thankful. Bootsie just wants to be held, and purr on your lap all day long. He’s incredibly affectionate, and ready for his forever home where he’ll be safe indoors, soaking up sunshine and love. Bootsie will be shy at first — he tends to warm up more quickly to women — but in a calm and quiet home, with some patience and time, he will open his heart fully. He will be the perfect companion for an experienced cat adopter. He’d do beautifully as an only cat or he might possibly enjoy sharing a home with another friendly and mellow feline. Bootsie must be a strictly indoor cat in his forever home. After all of the years of being outside, he’s earned a life of safety and comfort. If you’re looking for a cuddle buddy with a grateful soul, Bootsie’s your guy! 🐾
