Story
This affectionate adult neutered male cat needs one cat home. Playful & loves to romp with owner in yard/house. Loves dry & most types of canned food. Is picky or refuses table scraps, raw meat. An excellent (day or inside) hunter. He has been in my care since death of family member 4 years ago & has come a long way. Cuddling inside on my lap, playing with hand held strings, tug toys. Although, in my experience does not get along with other cats in house or in the neighborhood {if they come near property}. He responds well to voice commands: stop, no, food, come on.. A character who is loving and gentle with friends, family and owner. Did well with medium sized dog who did not chase; not well with a small dog that chased, scratching at him several times causing wounds. He lived in two previous homes: The first one had 3 dogs and children, but he was a kitten and not handle. The second home: county outside/garage to eat, skittish. Spike is a facet/drooling cat when petted.

[PLEASE NOTE Cats in these pictures, may or may not be available for adoptions] Cat Rescue & Adoption Network foster families give their kitties lots of TLC and attention. Because of that, we have very well socialized cats that are readily adopted. We always need more fosters to help fulfill our mission of helping rescue special needs animals. Fosters are provided with all the food, bedding and litter the cat needs. We also pay all their medical expenses. Your part is to give them love and attention and how hard can that be? This is the perfect opportunity to have a pet without a life time commitment. Fostering lasts anywhere from one week to several months and YOU get to choose whether you foster bottle babies, kittens or adult cats AND how many. If you live in the Eugene/Springfield, Oregon area and have love to spare for these kitties, please call 541-225-4955 Option 4, or fill out a foster application at: www.CatRescues.org/forms/cat-foster-applicationOctober 7, 2024, 9:11 pm

Story
Beautiful PHINEAS and FERB are a wonderful pair of young brothers. Fashionable FERB is a black and white tuxedo with an adorable face. He's a little shy at first, but once he warms up, he will roll over for belly rubs and he'll push his sweet face into your hands for head rubs. PHINEAS is a stunning, sleek black panther who will quickly let you know what a party boy he really is! He loves to follow his foster mom around the house, squeaking for attention and treats!  These boys love to catch stringy toys, climb on the cat tree, and romp around the house with each other—then when they’re worn out, they cuddle up together at nap time.  They have been living in a loving foster home with other cats and friendly dogs.  These sweet boys have fun personalities, and would prefer a calm home where they can relax and enjoy their forever people. PHINEAS and FERB have been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, are negative for FeLV and FIV, and include a free wellness visit with our vet partners. To meet Phineas and Ferb in foster care, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at Petsmart. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 days for a possible meet and greet. The $260 adoption fee for the pair allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. For more information, send an email to AdoptInfo@CatRescues.org or call 541-225-4955 option 1.
