Story
Missy, born April 2023, was discovered as a small ball of fur with huge eyes in a parking lot. She is very affectionate, very energetic and very, very vocal (if she wants something, you will know!). She is not recommended for homes with children or other pets. She does not bite or claw people, she snuggles and purrs. She does not get carsick or scared in vehicles - as long as her Person is there with her! Myssy is a very timid cat, one that will need lots of love and adjustment time. Silverton Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. In order to make sure cats under our care go to the safest and most compatible homes we require adoptees to fill out our Rescue’s application and accept a home visit. We deliver the kitty to your home, so you must live within an hour of Silverton. $125 adoption fee for kitties under one year and $100 for kitties over one year. Please fill out an application, https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SIL/Cat or email us at  silvertonrescue@gmail.com for more information. We do use the application to match our kitties to the purrfect home. Please be patience when you apply for a kitty; we are all volunteers. All our kitties are altered (spayed/neutered), microchipped, receive age appropriate vaccines, are dewormed, treated for fleas and tested for FIV/FELV.

Story
Hi, I’m Oriette, born June 2023. My foster mom said that I was the first kitty to come out of hiding and am super affectionate once I understand that you are my new family. I love sitting on laps. Even though I am smaller than my brother Kratos, I still love to wrestle with him. I am a beautiful, fast kitty. The red dot fears me. Kratos and I will keep you entertained with our antics. We are excellent office assistants and can help make Zoom meeting more productive. If you have ever had shy kitties, then you know how rewarding it is when they learn to trust you and turn into purr monsters! Kratos and Oriette’s Mom is feral. They were saved by a good Samaritan and Mom has been spayed and is much happier now that she can relax $125 adoption fee per kitten. Hardest part of rescue is: - Not being able to save every cat. - Finding excellent homes for our rescues. Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Story
This is Mack Daddy born April 2023. For such a big name, he has the tiniest little meow it's so cute. He loves to play with dangly toys and loves cuddles but he absolutely has to feel comfortable in his surroundings to show his softer side. We think his new family should play with him and it might make him more comfortable to be petted. Mack Daddy and his brother Grater would be very happy in a quiet home where they can learn to be safe and show you all the love they have to give! Story
Born May 2023. Bonnie is the bigger of the two sisters, but the least motivated by food...she has a dainty appetite, while Ginger will eat with more gusto. They are very sweet and gentle cats...they don't require a lot of human attention and are quite independent. These young cats provide stimulation and companionship to each other, and need to be adopted as a pair. Silverton Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Story
Born May 2023. Ginger looks like a Russian Blue, but has a white chest and feet. She is more active and curious than her sister. She is more gregarious and a bigger personality, but neither seek human attention until it's feeding time! They play, romp, and wrestle, but are quite gentle with each other. Ginger and Bonnie are quite independent and don’t require a lot of human attention, but thrive together through play and companionship. Silverton Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Story
Hi! I'm Ida, and I am very excited to meet you! I'm a sweet, gentle girl who loves to be pet, cuddled, and played with. I enjoy exploring and love to jump and climb! I am super playful, and could play with my favorite string toys all day long. Nothing makes me happier than quality time with my favorite humans. If you're looking for a buddy who will be a loyal, fun, and adorable companion, I'm your girl! Until recently, I spent my whole life within a laboratory cage being poked and prodded. I never got to enjoy a chin scratch or the experience of a lazy day of sleeping by a window. Now I'm finally free! After everything I've been through, it can take me a few days to warm up to a new environment-- but once I do, I will be the most fun and friendly cat you've ever met. The humans who have met me refer to me as a little ray of sunshine, and say I'm pretty clever, too! I would love to find a home where I can have my own bed to curl up in and cat tree to jump on. After all my time being locked away, I am ready for all the love and attention a family can give me. I get along with all kinds of humans and am friendly with dogs. I would be happiest in a home with no other cats. If you are interested in adopting Ida, please fill out an adoption application at https://bfp.org/rescue/ and email us with questions: adopt@bfp.org.
