Story
Tigger is a very sweet kitty . He loves being indoors to sleep on your bed and then he is excited to venture outside to catch some sun or go hunting. He is 2 years old and very beautiful. He really does love being outside , so he must go to a home that lets him out each day. He also appreciates his food indoors and being with his people in a cozy warm house. He is good with other cats once he gets to know them and good with dogs too., He likes children also. He is litter trained and does not have any accidents . His prefers method is eating his food inside and then running outside to do his business , I keep the litter box inside for rainy days.,

Story
Heidi just got done weaning off her litter of 6. She is very calm, relaxed and has lots of patience. This pretty girl is ready to be a cat again and wants to find a forever family of her own. Heidi enjoys treats and has a special fondness for a bit of raw beef. PLEASE READ: Adoption fee $100 for adult (over 12 months old) and $125 for kitten (under 12 months old). All cats coming into your care will be delivered altered (spayed/neutered), tested for FIV/FELV, microchipped, have received age-appropriate vaccines, treated for fleas and worms. We are not first come, first serve. We try to match our kitties with the purrfect home. Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are an all-volunteer organization. All our kitties are in foster care. We ask that you be patient with us as we connect you to the foster to set up a meet and greet. Most of our kittens are placed in bonded pairs. One of the most important ways we can support the behavioral and emotional development of a kitten is to make sure they’ve got a friend. Despite the common belief that cats are solitary animals, they’re actually incredibly social beings who thrive when they have feline friends from an early age. That’s why the cat experts always recommend adopting two kittens, or adopting a solo kitten only if you already have another young cat in the home for the kitten to befriend. It may come as a surprise to hear this, but two kittens are actually half the work of one! Giving your kitten a buddy will improve the lives of the cats while also making your life easier. In order to make sure cats under our care go to the safest and most compatible homes we require adoptees to fill out our Rescue’s application and accept a home visit. Please fill out an application: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SIL/Cat or email us at silvertonrescue@gmail.com for more information.

Story
DOB 5/5/25 Ennui is a high-energy love bug with the most adorable feature—a little heart shape at the end of his tail! He’s playful, enthusiastic, and always ready for fun with his siblings, but he loves head scratches and human affection just as much. Ennui was rescued as a young kitten from a small feral colony in Mount Angel, along with his siblings, a couple of mother cats, and their litters. Since then, he has grown into a confident, social, and affectionate boy. He and Letto make the perfect pair—both sweet, people-loving, and wonderfully cuddly. This dynamic duo would thrive in a home filled with love, attention, and room to play. PLEASE READ Adoption Fees: • $100 for adults (12+ months) • $125 for kittens (under 12 months) All cats adopted through Silverton Cat Rescue come spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, microchipped, treated for fleas and worms, and given age-appropriate vaccines. We are not first-come, first-served. Our priority is matching each kitty with the purrfect home. Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, run entirely by volunteers. All cats are in foster care. Please be patient as we coordinate with fosters to arrange meet-and-greets. Why We Place Most Kittens in Pairs Kittens are highly social and thrive when they have a feline friend. A buddy helps them learn appropriate play, build confidence, and feel secure. Experts recommend adopting two kittens together, or adopting a single kitten only if you already have another young, playful cat at home. It may surprise you, but two kittens are often half the work of one—they keep each other entertained, comforted, and better socialized. Adoption Requirements To ensure safe, loving, and compatible placements, we require: • A completed adoption application • A home visit 📄 Apply here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SIL/Cat 📧 Email us at silvertonrescue@gmail.com for more information.

Story
DOB: 12/26/2024 Meet Orlando Orlando is a handsome, shy boy with gorgeous markings who blossoms once he gets to know you. With patience and love, he’ll become your best friend—rolling around, reaching out for you, and hopping into your lap the moment you sit down. Orlando is a total snuggle bug who also loves playtime, especially chasing his favorite toy: the laser! He gets along wonderfully with his siblings but is very easygoing and loves cuddles. Orlando is bonded with his sister Ophelia, a beautiful tortie, and they must be adopted together to continue their special sibling bond. Sometimes, the shy ones are the sweetest, and Orlando is proof of that! Story
DOB: November 2022 Meet Thor This handsome guy is named Thor, because he’s like lightning! Thor is shy at first and will need a patient person who understands how overwhelming a new home can feel for a kitty. With proper, slow acclimation, Thor should do fine with other pets. Like all cats adjusting to a new home, he benefits from having a safe space to decompress while he settles in. Thor loves to play! He’s mastered chasing the red dot and enjoys cat wands. His soft, velvet-like fur makes cuddles even more delightful once he’s comfortable. This sweet boy is currently being fostered in Silverton.
