Rory is a quiet girl, but loves her pets and will seek you out when she wants attention. Her purr is loud and smooth. Her foster sister, Indigo is her best friend. Rory, loves to get in your lap for pets and scratches. She paces across you and if you stop petting she gets down and goes about her business. She is not one to talk verbally very much but her body language says it all.  You will find both Rory and Indigo snuggled against each other at nap time quite often. When heavy sleeping occurs, Rory tends to hide for an hour or two. At night, she loves to be a bed buddy. Rory loves to sneak up on her foster mates and pounce. She plays with jingle toys and string toys. She loves the laser light! Please note: Rory does have chronic sniffles and sneezes. It is simply a inconvenient condition. It is kept under control by zithromax every three days. Medication is inexpensive. I am a non fractious feral girl that was living a rough life in a colony of kitties until this rescue found me pregnant and sick and helped me have my one and only kitten. This was my first living kitten after 10 years of life. My colony caregiver told the rescue that none of my kittens ever lived over the years. I am not an angry feral nor will I try to attack you. I am just scared of people. However, I love cheese! Cheddar cheese will get my attention very quickly. I am too old to go back out into the elements. I would really rather live out my last few years where I can lay in the sun, have good food in my belly and someone to watch over me.  Because she lived in a colony, Ember seems to do well with the company of other cats.  She is on a diet of wet food because she doesn't have many teeth left. This causes her tongue to stick out a little sometimes which is really cute.  She also took to the litter box immediately upon being rescued. Quill is curious, friendly, and likes to snuggle up and be held and will tell you he loves it with his purrs. Quill likes to be with his foster mom doing whatever she is.  He just started noticing birds out the window and is fascinated. When you are on the couch he curls up on your chest right under your chin. He likes to snuggle in when someone is available and is endlessly curious.  He is relatively bold and likes to play with just about anything. He is pretty easy going but can be a little bit of an attention hog.Pets, you bet, Quill loves to be pet all over his body. He loves to play with the other kitties. His favorite toys are black twist ties, a bouncy ball and a laser pointer.  He doesn’t take long to become comfortable in new situations. He just wants to give and get love. Freesia is a beautiful petite girl. She is friendly and is easy to engage with others.  She is a player and loves her toys, especially her feather wand,  ball in the track, and chasing the laser pointer.  She also enjoys playing with other kitties. She is also a watcher!  She can often be found observing her surroundings and her siblings. She is a little timid at first but quickly warms up with patience and love and would do great in a home with one of her siblings. She waits alongside the others for pets rather than pushing her way in.  However, she is definitely interested in human love.  She would rather be near you than on your lap.  She Loves to be pet all over, particularly under her chin, on her neck, but doesn’t love being picked up.   Her foster states “I’m not sure that she has a purr. I’ve never heard it. It would be a good challenge for her owner to figure what what to do to hear it!” She so beautiful with her soft smooth coat.
