Poppy is sweet, ginger girl. She is an awesome, attentive kitty, loves to play with other kitties but for some reason, is not keen on human touch. She is good with other cats, not fond of dogs or loud noises. She does love to play, especially with a laser light. Capturing that red dot is her mission in life! Let her be the shining star in your family. Because all of our kitties are in foster homes we do visitations with our cats with pre-approved adoption applications. We place our kittens and cats in homes with the best fit based on personality, age, and location.  Here is a link to the application: https://tinyurl.com/KeithasKittiesApplication ##969481##

Story
Tiny There is never a dull moment with Tiny around! Her big bubbly eyes will melt your heart in a second and her goofy personality will keep you laughing all day. Her eyesight is a little off especially if it is darker so she tends to miss when she pounces on toys or an occasional crash when chasing the other cats. She will need another cat around to learn from and play with. She loves to shadow our other cats and gets confused with a new toy until they show her how to interact with it.  When she plays with toys her Siamese personality starts shining through and she can get very vocal. Tiny can get distracted easily while playing and will bounce from one toy to the next. She is a great computer helps and loves to lay next to it watching what you are doing. She doesn't try to lay on the keyboard or chase the mouse but will try to eat your papers now and then. She will let you pick her up and carry her around but cuddles are usually on her term. She picks her favorite person and will follow them around like a lost puppy. She will even walk circles around you when you stop. She has learned to tap people's legs when she wants pets or attention. Tiny loves her scratches especially on the back of her shoulders or her chin. When she is super happy she will sometimes rub her mouth on your fingers and start rolling around. She does okay with cat savvy dogs that are quiet and will not chase her. She is wonderful with cats of all ages and is very well mannered when the older cats are not interested in playtime.  Tiny has some special needs and struggles with some issues related to chronic diarhea, her heart, and her eye sight.  This does not stop her from being full of personality!  Inquire to find out more. Because all of our kitties are in foster homes we do visitations with our cats with pre-approved adoption applications. We place our kittens and cats in homes with the best fit based on personality, age, and location.  Here is a link to the application: https://tinyurl.com/KeithasKittiesApplication ##1530805##

Story
Meet Mama Cass! She had been a great Mama to her kittens and now she is looking for her forever home.  She loves love! Although she does not jump up on your lap, if you pick her up she will sit and enjoy all the pets and loves belly rubs!  She likes to sleep on the bed with her humans either by your head, or your feet. She still has some spunk after keeping up with her kittens and she really likes her feather wands.  She also will let you know when it is time to eat and enjoys pleasant conversations with her human waitresses and waiters. She would prefer to avoid being picked up and carried around.  She Is a bit jumpy at loud noises, so a quiet environment would probably be best with older cat savvy kids.  She would not do well in a home with dogs but could get along with other cats with a proper introduction. Cass has excellent litter box habits. Because all of our kitties are in foster homes we do visitations with our cats with pre-approved adoption applications. We place our kittens and cats in homes with the best fit based on personality, age, and location.  Here is a link to the application: https://tinyurl.com/KeithasKittiesApplication ##1711181##

Story
Every litter has the assumed leader and extrovert, and Joe happily assumes that role among his current sibling group.  Quick to greet you at the door with his sister Penny, he is chatty, eager, and the first to engage in whatever you're doing, whether it's relaxation time or playtime with a string toy (his favorite).  He likes initiating a heavy chase/play session with fellow residents, and is first in line for mealtime.  Pretty sure he doesn't realize he's not a human child, as he follows you around and needs proximity to his favorite people.  He will curl up on the couch with you, and loves being under blankets. Leo does not mind being picked up and held in a calm environment. You can pet him and move around for a bit, but he has places to go, so when he is ready, he will jump down and continue his adventures.  He loves all the toys! He would do great in a home with one of his siblings or with another young cat to play with.  He would do okay with cats, dogs and kids and has excellent litter box manners. Because all of our kitties are in foster homes we do visitations with our cats with pre-approved adoption applications. We place our kittens and cats in homes with the best fit based on personality, age, and location.  Here is a link to the application: https://tinyurl.com/KeithasKittiesApplication   ##1711185##

Story
If Disney were to illustrate a "teenage" tabby kitten for a new movie, the result would look a lot like Penny.  She's got a pert little nose, round face, and big luminous eyes.  She's happiest receiving chin scritches and lounging adjacent to you on a quiet afternoon.  Penny will on a dime swap from playtime with her brother to a good scratch session on her favorite cardboard lounger or corded post, with some possible human snuggles in this mix.  Her current favorite spots to nap include the hanging basket on the cat tree or curled with a sibling in a cozy bed, but with time may discover that human laps are the best thing since sliced bread.   She is a very proper lady, and her litter box habits are immaculate.   Because all of our kitties are in foster homes we do visitations with our cats with pre-approved adoption applications. We place our kittens and cats in homes with the best fit based on personality, age, and location.  Here is a link to the application: https://tinyurl.com/KeithasKittiesApplication ##1711186##

Story
Some cats take a while to set their boundaries and personality as they grow out of the kitten stage, but Daisy Mae has wasted no time discovering who she is and what she likes.  She's a watcher, always evaluating and digesting each situation to determine whether she's "in" or "out" before engaging.  On a resume you might highlight this as "emotional intelligence", so she's just a really astute young cat. There are "spirit animals", but if Daisy Mae were to declare a "spirit human" it might be a New Yorker.  She's a beautiful, sleek tuxedo girl who knows her preferences.  She receives affection and is grateful for snacks, but sometimes that's all she wants/needs in an interaction.   She has excellent litter box manners. She would do well with other cats, a cat-savvy dog, or kids. Because all of our kitties are in foster homes we do visitations with our cats with pre-approved adoption applications. Weight: 8.5 lbsMicrochip ID #: 982091069994729Arrival Date: 10/5/22Hi, my name is Delicata and I love human attention, playing a "turtle" basket game with my foster parent, helping with the laundry, sitting in the bathroom sink, and checking out vases of flowers. I am a constant source of entertainment for my foster parents, and they have even started walking me on a harness outside! I absolutely love the snow too! From Delicata's Foster Parent:"Delicata is a cat lover's cat. She has a big personality and loves to be involved in whatever is happening. She is not a lap cat but will sit near you to be companionable. She gets along well with our dog, loves watching birds out the window and on YouTube. Delicata, who we call "Kitten", keeps herself very clean and is surprisingly simple to care for as a cat with medical needs; the occasional "outside-the-box poo" is easy to clean up. She gets a lot of attention when we go out with her in her backpack or on her leash! This little girl is charming, active, playful, and makes us laugh every day. We have really enjoyed her."Delicata has a medical condition called megacolon, so sometimes she gets constipated, and is on special medications and food to help prevent this. She has the occasional bout of fecal incontinence, so she would like to live in an area of someone's house that can be easily cleaned, and she will need a very special adopter who is willing to clean up her messes (and rear end) every once in a while. All the love and entertainment she has to offer makes it so worth the extra care she needs! At the end of the day, she's just another amazing cat looking for the purrfect home. Please consider adding her to your family! If you would like to meet her, please email fostercare@safehavenhumane.com or call (541) 928-2789 extension 106.

Adoption Fee $135Arrival Date: 9/22/23Microchip #941000027836163Weight: 12 lbsHi! I'm Earl, lap cat extraordinaire! I'm sweet, loving, mellow, and extremely well-behaved-basically your purrfect cat! Besides lap time and eating, I enjoy shooting my toys into tricky, nearly inaccessible places. I mean, why have a toy go out into the open when it could instead go under a chair or bookcase? I'm all about a challenge and become Champion of All Cats when I successfully retrieve the toy!Kitty snacks are my other favorite thing. Foster parent says I "put on the charm" with wistful looks and cute leg rubs to earn snacks and, frankly, that works!Because of my youth as a stray and undernourished kitten, I'm both timid and cautious, so it'll take a while until I decide you're ok. Foster parent has taught me that kissy noises and friendly hand wiggles are a sign to come out from any place I might be hiding and be petted. Oh yes, I'd prefer a quiet home without dogs and children.I'm FIV positive but that's no big deal because I require no extra or special meds or treatment whatsoever! I may sleep a bit more than any other cat my young age, but some would see that as an advantage-I'm quiet! So you need not worry about the FIV stuff. Just keep me indoors and all's good!In short, I'm just an overgrown kitten and probably the most adorable cat you'll ever meet. Every home should have a mini-panther, agreed? I look forward to sharing love with you, and hope to meet you soon! Xoxox, EarlThe staff at SafeHaven noticed Earl was not recovering from malnourishment as quickly as he should have as a kitten, so we tested him for FIV. Earl came up positive. FIV cats can have very long and healthy lives. They should be the only cat in the home or only be adopted with other FIV cats in the home and it is not recommended for them to be outdoor cats. This sweet boy is now all set to live a happy life and can't wait to find his furever family! Says Earl's foster parents: "At first, Earl is timid and cautious. So, in a new environment, he would be most comfortable in a space of his own until he decides to venture out. Be patient and know that he will come out-- at his own pace! Then he'll want to play and/or sit on your lap, preferably under a cozy blanket or throw. Earl has a sweet, fine manner about him. One could even call it elegant. As such, this very fine feline will probably do best in a peaceful home without dogs or children where he may be attentively admired for his full beauty and grandeur."Earl is currently in a foster home to get a break from shelter life after being at SafeHaven for over 100 days! If you would like to meet him, please email fostercare@safehavenhumane.com

I am as sly as my namesake, I like to slink around my kennel and make blanket forts to hide in! I'm still a bit nervous in my new temporary home, but I'm starting to come out of my shell the longer I'm here! Staff have started to convince me that there is more to life than espionage and occasionally it is okay to play a bit of wand toy and get some treats. My occupation as an international spy means I can be a bit weary of new people but given just a bit of time (and maybe some Churu treats) I come around. Come by SafeHaven to meet me today!

Hi, I’m Charlie! I might be a little shy when we first meet but give me some timeand I’ll show you that I’m a spunky and fun-loving cat with lots of energy! Myideal home would be with someone who is able to give me a lot of play time anddoesn’t mind when I get the zoomies three times a day. I might like a sibling whois younger and can keep up with me and is down to wrestle.  A few of my favorite things are straws, boxes, and soft blankets. I like snuggling up to my human and taking up half the pillow at night. If you’re looking for an energetic best friend, come visit me, I’d love to meet you!  Note from my foster parents:Whoever Charlie’s new parents end up being are in for a treat! He’s such a sweetand silly lil guy and it’s been so fun for us to get to know all his quirks andcuriosities! It’ll be sad to see him go, but we can’t wait for him to find his purrfect furreverhome!
