Story
Meet Abilene! She is a stunning brown marble tabby! (Classic tabby) Her markings are spectacular. And she's so cute too. Such a cute face and cute demeanor. She is spayed, microchipped, rabies vaccine, FVRCP vaccine, deworming protocol and is on a monthly flea preventative revolution plus. She tested negative for the feline leukemia virus and feline immunodeficiency virus. Abilene will be transported from South Florida where the cat crisis is severe. Homeless cats and kittens are born to suffer on the streets if not rescued. She will be transported once a potential adoptive home is found. If interested in possibly adopting Abilene, please ask us to email you a word document application to complete or you may complete one at the link found below (you may have to copy and paste this into your browser). Once we receive your application and if it seems like a fit between you and Abi, we will arrange a phone or video call with you to discuss further. The next step would be transporting her to meet you and if it seems like a good fit, you sign the adoption contract, pay the adoption fee and take her home. You receive a copy of her medical records and we follow up with you by phone call or text. Transport can be arranged anywhere from next day or so and up to two weeks. We want our cats and kittens to be happy in their forever homes and we want our adopters to fall in love with our cats and kittens. Story
Meet this sweetheart Imogen! Darling Imogen is a very special girl - she's so sweet and affectionate, so innocent and such a baby. She's very loving, her heart is pure and sweet. She is loving and affectionate all around. Did I say loving? She is love. Curious, cute and fun to watch, little Immie is a kitten, yes, but something more. I can't quite put my finger on it but she connects with you so much - she's got a little human part of her - or maybe she is just so smart? or maybe just so loving. At the same time, she's a super kitten who plays in the cute kitten ways. She is so so cute - just amazingly so - you will absolutely fall in love. She melts in your arms, so trusting - she's soft when held. Sleeps with you - will walk on you and lay on your chest - or lap as it may be. Loves to be pet. Purrs, purrs, purrs. She will sit in your lap or on your chest and purr away. Immie will gently place her paw on you to engage you. Such a super darling girl! She's a healthy and happy kitten so the snuggles mentioned above occur when she's not running around playing - and mostly playing and chasing with her sibling Indigo. These two girls love each other and would love to be adopted together. They love to play together - to run and chase and wrestle. They groom each other and will cuddle up with each other. Indigo, in particular, likes to keep Immie's ears clean! She grooms her ears and face. lol So Imogen does have very clean ears. lol Two kittens together are ideal if you work or are out of the home for periods of time - then they have each other! And even if you're home all the time - they are fun to watch together and to watch them play together. All this said, they do not have to be adopted together. They need you most of all. Immie and her siblings were rescued from living under a storage unit in a police station parking lot. They were small kittens and had just started to come out from where their mom had hid them. The parking lot was a dangerous place where they could easily have been hit by a car. Luckily, we got them all. Spayed, microchipped, rabies vaccination, series of three FVRCP vaccinations, deworming protocol, monthly flea preventative revolution plus. She tested negative for the feline leukemia virus and feline immunodeficiency virus. DOB is 3.1.25. Please feel free to contact Immie's foster by text or phone call at 561-517-7609 or email cecdev@hotmail.com with any questions, for more information or to talk about this sweet baby. Of course, if interested in meeting and possibly adopting this little lovebug, please submit an adoption application. Imogen will be transported from South Florida where the cat crisis is severe. Homeless cats and kittens are born to suffer on the streets if not rescued. She will be transported once a potential adoptive home is found. If interested in possibly adopting Immie, please ask us to email you a word document application to complete or you may complete one at the link found below (you may have to copy and paste this into your browser). Story
Meet Indigo! She is a stunning and rare black smoke with ghost tabby markings. Her fur is a soft white underneath and only the tips are black! She has some tabby markings visible on her face and legs and you may be able to catch some as she gracefully moves by. This kitten is simply gorgeous - and she is sweet and loving as can be. A real gem. Melts in your arms, sleeps with you - will walk on you and lay on your chest - or lap as it may be. Purrs away - she's a motorboat! Loves to be petted and loved on. Indie is friendly, loving and very affectionate. She likes to snuggle her whole head into your hand. A good natured, sweet and trusting kitten, Indie will bring love and joy into your life - maybe more than you've ever known - she's that captivating. She's a healthy and happy kitten so the snuggles mentioned above occur when she's not running around playing - and mostly playing and chasing with her sibling Imogen. These two girls love each other and would love to be adopted together. They love to play together - to run and chase and wrestle. It's fun to watch them arch up and bounce around. They also groom each other and will cuddle up with each other. Imogen is always hugging Indigo. Both will snuggle with you - they are very attentive and interactive. Story
I need to rehome my three year old cat Pax. I have had him since he was a kitten and adopted him from a friend who had an accidental litter while I was in college. I am moving away soon and I can’t take him with me due to lease restrictions and the travel demands for my new job. He is up to date on shots and fixed. He’s such a snuggly cat and very playful. He loves chasing laser pointers and remote control cars or even crumbled papers. He also loves lounging in the sun on little picnics (he hates the grass though). He is so precious to me and would make a great companion. Rehoming fee includes cat tree, toys, grooming supplies, and automatic water/feeder.

Story
Its hard to believe but Pepper arrived at our rescue FIVE YEARS AGO! She is the longest resident at Animal Advocates and all of the volunteers at the rescue would be overjoyed to see Pepper thriving in the loving home she deserves.  Pepper had been taken care of, along with a number of other cats, by a local rescuer until the time a house fire caused her to evacuate. Most of the cats in the group were brought to the rescue where they were eventually adopted. Pepper presented as the most challenging of the group as she was extremely wary of people at first. However, with patience and lots of positive reinforcement, Pepper has come a long way! The way to Pepper's spicy heart is through treats and playtime.  She will come out to play with wand toys and accepts treats and pets from her favorite volunteers. Pepper requires a home with experienced cat people who will show her love, consistency and accept her for the cat that she is. She has received yearly vet exams, is up-to-date on vaccinations, tested negative for FIV/Felv, spayed and microchipped. During her time at our rescue, Pepper has seen and interacted with many cats and seems to get along fine with all.  If you are interested in meeting Pepper, the first step is to complete an online application located at www.animaladvocates.net (under the "Adopt" menu). Our team is happy to discuss with approved applicants the possibility of a long-term foster placement for Pepper.  In a long-term foster placement the goal is to connect special animals with individuals in the community who are interest in caring for a pet.  The rescue will provide supply and vetting support as needed.  Thank you for considering a rescue cat from Animal Advocates!May 5, 2025, 1:18 pm

Story
Meet Willow! This large and in charge lady is looking for love! Could it be with you? Willow lived in a multi-pet household, living comfortably in the past with other cats and feline-savvy dogs. She is friendly and accustomed to the companionship of other felines and people.  She would make the perfect companion for a "homebody" who enjoys snuggling on the couch with a delightful feline pal!     Willow has marble tabby markings and the longest curly whiskers.   She was born in 2014.  Willow is spayed, tested negative for FIV/Felv and up-to-date on vaccinations as well as flea/deworming treatments. She recently received a vet check and, while she is generally healthy for her age, Willow is on a daily maintenance medication to help control symptoms of the feline version of rheumatoid arthritis.  She is responding well to this treatment and a home comfortable with this daily regimen is a must. Willow comfortably navigates her foster's home, including steps and on to tables and (like it or not) counter tops, without any issues.  Willow would benefit from continued encouragement of playtime and frequent activity, less treats and portion control on her regular meals (she's gotta get "swimsuit" ready for the summer!).  A member of the adoption team welcomes the opportunity to discuss Willow's care needs with approved applicants.    To meet Willow visit www.animaladvocates.net and complete an adoption application (located under the "Adopt" menu).   Our team is happy to discuss with approved applicants the possibility of a long-term foster placement for Willow as she is also eligible for our SENIOR TO SENIOR PROGRAM.  In the program senior animals are connected with senior citizens in the community who are interested in caring for a pet. As a foster for Animal Advocates, all vetting costs, supplies and other support are provided by the rescue.  Thank you for considering a rescue cat from Animal Advocates!  June 13, 2025, 1:52 pm
