Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Elle a environ 5ans (âge inconnue quand nous l’avons reçu) opérée et non dégriffé    Sophie Patenaude sophie.patenaude@hotmail.com 514-432-0237  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 26, 2024, 8:23 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Afin d'avoir une chance de l'adopter, veuillez remplir notre formulaire d'adoption directement sur notre site web: https://www.reseausecoursanimal.org/nous-contacter/formulaire-adoption/      Robin arrived at the Animal Rescue Network with his brother Joker in February 2020. When they first arrived, they were both very fearful, but his brother made progress quickly, while little Robin did not. A few months after his arrival at the shelter, we discovered that Robin had cholangiohepatitis. This is a liver disease of inflammatory origin. In addition, during his abdominal ultrasound, the vets found that he also had IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease), which is an inflammatory disease of the colon and intestine. He will have to eat a specialized hypoallergenic type of food for the rest of his life. Since his IBD is well controlled, he should be able to live his life as a cat without medication. Over the years, Robin has met many cats at the shelter, but it was his meeting with handsome Rocky that changed everything. Through his relationship with Rocky, Robin has learned to trust us and we can finally pet him. Rocky has been adopted in the meantime, but Robin continues to seek the company of other cats. For this reason, we want to place Robin in a family that will have a sociable cat in the home. This will allow Robin to continue his good progress. Indeed, even if Robin allows himself to be petted, he still has a long way to go. It is necessary to show a lot of gentleness with him and of patience. Robin is making great efforts to open up to humans, and his health is stable. For the past few months, Robin has been part of the sponsorship program. We know that Robin will not find the perfect family quickly, but we want to give him a chance at adoption! Robin is an adult cat so the adoption fees for him are $290. He is sterilized, vaccinated and microchipped. He tested negative for the feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) and for the feline leukaemia virus (FeLV). Health insurances are offered for the first 6 weeks following adoption. You will also have access to the help of the adoption team as long as you need it. You will also have access to a free 30 minutes video consultation within the first month following adoption with our cat behaviour consultant FelineGood (https://www.felinegood.ca).   In order to get a chance to adopt him, please fill out our adoption directly on our website: https://www.reseausecoursanimal.org/contacts/adoption-form/Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 26, 2024, 8:23 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Afin d'avoir une chance de l'adopter, veuillez remplir notre formulaire d'adoption directement sur notre site web:  https://www.reseausecoursanimal.org/nous-contacter/formulaire-adoption/       Donut was a stray in the Montreal-North area before arriving at the Animal Rescue Network in October 2022. Extremely stressed, it was difficult for Donut to get used to the shelter environment. To ensure that he was making good progress and that his health was under control, we placed him in a small separate room. This really helped Donut to find his confidence in humans. Unfortunately, he is a carrier of the feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV).  For more information about FIV: https://www.vet.cornell.edu/departments-centers-and-institutes/cornell-feline-health-center/health-information/feline-health-topics/feline-immunodeficiency-virus-fiv Despite this, Donut is in good health and can live a nice life indoors! Donut is still shy, but he's come a long way. He's easy to pet when approached gently. He likes to be brushed as well as petted on the neck. He's not yet at ease with everyone, so he's looking for a patient, gentle family. He doesn't like to be handled. Donut is still young, so he loves to play. Playing will be your best tool to continue his socialization! Donut would not be a good match for a family with children, but could cohabit with another calm cat. He will need time to adapt to his new home. Donut eats gastrointestinal food from the veterinary clinic and will need to maintain this diet. Donut is an adult cat so the adoption fees for him are $290. He is sterilized, vaccinated and microchipped. He is positive for the feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) but negative for the feline leukaemia virus (FeLV). You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Becky took a long time to open up to us. The socialization team has worked hard and we now see Becky accepting pets. She now lets herself be stroked without any problem and even drools because she loves it so much! Becky is a tiny black cat, and it's hard to believe that she was once a mother herself! She gets on well with other cats, but couldn't live with children. She's interested in play and treats, so her family will have good tools to work with her! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. He was ill, but a kind person decided to give him a chance and bring him to us. Artie he is a carrier of the feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV).  For more information about FIV: https://www.vet.cornell.edu/departments-centers-and-institutes/cornell-feline-health-center/health-information/feline-health-topics/feline-immunodeficiency-virus-fiv   Despite this, he can live a long and happy life indoors! Artie is such an adorable cat; all our shelter volunteers have fallen in love with him! He happily rises from his nap to greet us in the office, and loves to give us kisses with his head. Artie is a calm, affectionate cat who is looking for a good family to take care of him. Artie's problem is that he has diarrhea. We've tried several treatments, but so far the situation hasn't improved. That's why we've been waiting to put him up for adoption. So we're putting out a heartfelt appeal to find a family who can provide him with a more stable environment that will help his health. Artie is also in a pre-renal stage, so he eats specialized food available from the vet to help his digestion and prevent the progression of renal failure. He has also put on weight at the shelter and has difficulty cleaning his bottom. In the confined space of his office, Artie can't expend the energy needed to return to a healthy weight. Artie lives with his friend Donut and gets on well with him. He also lets himself be hugged! Who will be generous enough to open their home and their heart to Artie? Artie is an adult cat so the adoption fees for him are $290. He is sterilized, vaccinated and microchipped. He is positive for the feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) but negative for the feline leukaemia virus (FeLV). Health insurances are offered for the first 6 weeks following adoption. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.
