You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.HALO VIDEO - MY FAVORITE TOY !!!Halo was born 12/5/2011.  She is a beautiful Tortoiseshell with Amber eyes. Halo was found giving birth in the rain on top of a wooden crate.  A wonderful man rescued her and the 5 babies bringing them inside, giving them blankets, food and water.  He then called animal control only to be horrified when they told him 'yes, bring them in, we can euthanize them.'  He replied with 'Oh yes, let's do that.  The babies are only 4 hours old.' Halo who was a dumped pregnant cat has only 4 babies left as one died shortly after birth.  She has been an absolutely wonderful mother, but sadly mothers rarely get adopted as everyone wants a kitten. Halo is not a lap cat but if she had a home where there was a lot of love and patience, I am sure she would eventually let you touch her.  Halo is not aggressive.  She is just scared because people in her past haven't been exactly very nice to her. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bulls-Eye Tabby!Mason was born 9/9/2013.  He is an Extremely Handsome Bulls-Eye Tabby and possible Sokote Mix!  Mason plays well with his brother Mario and other cats.  He is so wanting affection and will actually cry at you to get a petting.Mason has such large feet that they look as if they belong to another cat because he has not been eating like he should.We discovered this boy has an autoimmune disease called stomatitis.  He had been in so very much pain for so long with his mouth.  He recently had all  his teeth removed in hopes of clearing the disease but that has not happened.Recent studies indicate that the auto-immune disease, stomatitis is most likely caused by fleas.  Fleas can carry all sorts of nasty diseases and parasites.  It is most likely that before Mason came to us he had been bitten by a flea infected with hemobartonella, which in turn triggered the auto-immune disease stomatitis. We are currently trying try stem cell therapy as there has been a case in California where it cured the cat from this disease.  This is an expensive treatment but it is our only chance for saving his life.  This disease is otherwise, neither manageable or curable.  Please help Mason get his stem cell therapy by sponsoring him.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 17, 2024, 12:05 am

YET CONTINUED TO TAKE CARE OF HER BABIES!!Sky was born 1/15/2017 and is a Stunning Gray & White Tuxedo girl.This Beautiful Girl was abandoned with her babies, and was desperately looking for a safe place as the water was rising during Hurricane Harvey.  As she put them on the porch one by one, a kind hearted lady decided to bring them inside her home during the storm.  She contacted us to take them because her landlord said they had to go.Paws found a wonderful Foster Home for Sky and her babies until they could be available for adoption.  This mother cat was ALWAYS looking out for her three little ones and is now needing a forever family of her own.Sky is very sweet and loving once she knows you can be trusted.  She is also playful because she is still so young herself.11/02/2017 Update:  Sky was spayed and microchipped today.  However, we found that her story of being abandoned was not all that happened to her.  She was shot, and not only does the bullet remain close to her spine, we could also see that part of her knee had been shattered, which is why her right leg splays outward.  She also now has spondylosis of L7-S1 vertebrae.  All of this had to be right before the flooding started because she is still healing.  In spite of everything that happened to her, she continued to save and care for her babies!  Sky was an INCREDIBLE MOM!!!  Now that her babies have all found their own home, it is her turn to have a FUREVER Home of her own.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 17, 2024, 12:05 am

China was a starving feral kitten when I found her at about 6 weeks old. It took me 3 days to catch her. She kept running into the drainage ditches and wanted help because she kept calling to me but she was too afraid to come to me. Finally when she was under a neighbor's house she came out to eat the can food I offered her and I scooped her up and took her home. She is still fearful and doesn't like to be held. She is afraid to be around other cats and prefers her own space.
