Story
CHIEF MISCHIEF-MAKER  DOB 5/16/23 Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Jack Jack, a sweet, vivacious, and playful black and white bicolor fella who’s the largest of my litter, a.k.a. the #high-5-gang. “Bicolor” means that I’m mostly white with black on my head, back, and tail. Since I have only white on my face, it looks like I have a black beret atop my head. Future Foster Meowmy found my pregnant momma Stella in her Pearland neighborhood, and thankfully momma Stella delivered my litter of five after she arrived in our foster home. I’m the leader of all the mischief in my family because I’m full of energy and will play with anything and everything from dawn to dusk. I love to play soccer with all toys as well as to tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with my siblings, and then we collapse in a kitten puddle. Arrange to meet me today. I promise to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart. Consider adopting me with another of the #high-5-gang so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. HOPE ID 23-0708-C087 If you are interested in Jack Jack and would like to fill out an online Cat Adoption Application, please go to http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php . Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt, but it initiates contact with us and gets the process started.  If you have questions prior to filling out the application or want to find out which adoption site this feline will be this week-end, email us at hope@homelesspets.net , and a volunteer will get back to you. STREET URCHIN TO PAMPERED PET  DOB 4/28/23 Have you ever seen a kitten whose body looks like a canvas that a graffiti artist has started splashing with tiny spots of black paint? Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Dondi, a sweet and playful fella who’s pure white except for my black toupee and pale smudges of gray on my shoulders, back, and haunches. I’m one of the #graffiti-boys who were all named after graffiti street-artists because our momma Clara birthed us on the mean streets of Houston. The good news is that I’m a little street urchin no longer. No siree! I’ve been babied, cuddled, and kissed ever since I was rescued and started living in my foster home, where I eat yummy culinary delights and sleep on soft down pillows! Yep, I’m truly a pauper-turned-prince! My brothers, Banksy and Zephyr, and I are fascinated by everything in the bathroom. That’s because there’s all kinds of great things there -- toilet paper, paper towels, rugs, humans, toys, shampoo, water, and our favorite, the occasional roach. I can’t describe the fun of rolling ping pong balls and cat spring-toys – anything with curves – along the sides of the bathtub like it’s the perfect skateboard park. And it’s fun to sit on the edge of the tub and play hide-and-seek behind the shower curtain. We’ve destroyed a few shower curtains by batting each other with our little claws, but Foster Meowmy thinks that’s a small price to pay for the hours of enjoyment we have playing peek-a-boo through the clear plastic. I’m particularly bonded to Zephyr. We’re always up to some kind of kitten business – exploring, menacing each other, wrestling. When we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle with Banksy and may even nuzzle with our sweet momma Clara. If you’re looking for hours of entertainment with a handsome fella’s who’s a feast to the eyes, I’m your man! Arrange to meet me today, and consider adopting me with Zephyr (and don’t forget Banksy!) so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. Just think – you can get all your cat-needs met with our little Instacat family. HOPE ID 23-0517-E021     If you are interested in Dondi and would like to fill out an online Cat Adoption Application, please go to http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php . CALLING ALL ADVENTURERS  DOB 4/7/23 Mew! Mew, everyone! My name is Advil, one of the #pain-reliever-kittens. I'm a sweet, loving, playful brown tabby gal who enjoys sleeping on laps. I also like to nap under blankets, especially if you’re under them with me! I enjoy basking in a patch of sunshine on the window sill. But I’m no couch potato! No sirree! I love to play with anything and everything, but I also know what stuff is not mine (because it’s Foster Meowmy’s) and “off limits.” I’m the Marco Polo of my litter because whenever there's something new to explore, I'm the first one to investigate.   My siblings and I were found under the house of my foster meowmy's neighbor. Thank heavens Foster Meowmy stepped up to the plate to foster us until we could be adopted. I grew up around both cats and dogs in my foster home, so I’m even okay with dogs’ grooming me. I’m a mischievous girl who thinks it’s fun to pounce next to other pets. Since I live to explore, I'm actively calling all adventurers. Could that be you? I’m looking forward to meeting my new family! Consider adopting me with my brother Aleve. That way we can keep each other company when you're at work or on vacation. HOPE ID 23-0519-G123 If you are interested in Advil and would like to fill out an online Cat Adoption Application, please go to http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php . FRIENDLY WITH ALL PEOPLE AND OTHER CATS  DOB 2/26/23 Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Daisy, an outgoing, friendly, and fearless blue tabby with random peach patches and white tuxedo markings. I love all ages of humans, including my foster meowmy’s children. In fact, I cherish the times the kids entertain me with interactive toys. I’ve never been intimidated by the resident cats and wasn’t afraid to interact with them from the get-go. Foster Meowmy found me and my sister Rose as orphaned kittens with no momma in sight. Fortunately, she brought us into her home, and it’s been a blessing that the resident adult kitties can teach us everything our momma would’ve taught us if she’d been around. I’m so relieved to have been rescued from my hardscrabble life as a stray so that I don’t have to live paw-to-mouth any more. While my foster home is top-notch, I realize that it would be best for me to have a home where there’d be less competition with the other cats for the attention of my foster family. Arrange to meet me today because I'd make a great family pet. Consider adopting me with Rose so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. HOPE ID 23-0429-C020 If you are interested in Daisy and would like to fill out an online Cat Adoption Application, please go to http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php .
