Story
Chanelle is on the shy side. She is as chill as she is full of energy. She loves to run and play with her siblings. She is curious, and loves to find different places to retreat to. Chanelle would do well in a home with one of her littermates, or with an established cat she can form a bond with. Chanelle comes from a litter of a feral cat that chose the foster family to seek a safe haven to birth her kittens in. Story
Little Mo is a resilient and strong kitten! Shortly after birth, Little Mo’s right rear paw got tangled in his brother’s umbilical cords, and circulation to his back paw was cut off. He persevered and recovered well and has a knub instead of the typical cat paw. But don’t worry-that doesn’t slow him down at all! He’s the most playful kitten from his litter and will play for hours on end. He also loves to cuddle in a soft blanket. Little Mo would do well in a loving slower paced household that could give him lots of interactive playtime. Little Mo comes from a litter of a feral cat that chose the foster family as a safe place to have her kittens. Story
Giselle is a beautiful tuxedo girl who has finally finished raising her babies and is ready for a home of her own. She was abandoned at an apartment complex in Grand Prairie while pregnant, and thankfully a kind family took her in so she could safely have and care for her kittens. She has been a wonderful mama, but now that her babies are finding homes, it is finally her turn to be spoiled. Giselle is quiet, laid-back, and very easy to have around. She enjoys the simple things, a sunny window, a cozy cat tree, and her favorite little yarn balls, which she proudly carries around the house in her mouth like tiny treasures. She has a calm, peaceful presence and feels like the kind of cat who will settle beautifully into a home and become part of your everyday routine. If you are looking for a gentle companion who is past the kitten chaos and ready for a cozy life, Giselle is your girl. Born 11/1/2024 At Meowtown, we don’t have a traditional, physical shelter - all of our cats live in loving foster homes. That means they are already used to real home life, and we truly know their personalities, habits, and what makes them special. They are safe, socialized, and ready to be part of a family. They’re not waiting to become housecats… they already are. They just need a house. Story
Steiner is one of those cats you fall in love with instantly — mostly because of that adorable little tongue that’s always peeking out. He’s missing a few teeth, so it just kind of… stays there. And honestly? It makes him completely irresistible. I’m his foster mom, and once you meet him, you realize how sweet he really is. He loves pets, being brushed, and just hanging out close to his person. He’s especially happy with a bowl of mushy wet food and is starting to discover that toys are actually pretty fun (catnip bananas are a current favorite). Steiner didn’t have an easy start — he was found living outside behind a grocery store, just trying to get by. At first, he seemed unsocial, but it turns out he was just scared. Once he felt safe, his true personality came out, and it’s all soft, gentle, and loving. He’s not big on being picked up, but he’s more than happy to snuggle right next to you while you relax. He does well with other cats who give him space, is okay with older kids, and would do best in a quieter home without dogs. Steiner is the kind of cat who just needs someone to see him — little tongue, sweet heart, and all — and give him the safe, cozy life he’s been waiting for. At Meowtown, we don’t have a traditional, physical shelter - all of our cats live in loving foster homes. That means they are already used to real home life, and we truly know their personalities, habits, and what makes them special. They are safe, socialized, and ready to be part of a family. They’re not waiting to become housecats… they already are. They just need a house. Story
From his foster mom, Heather: The Scoop is proof that not every kitten is a tiny chaos goblin looking for constant cuddles. This handsome boy knows exactly who he is, and he's perfectly happy being himself. While many kittens want to be in your lap every waking moment, The Scoop prefers to be your friendly roommate. He's happy to hang out nearby, keep you company, and check in throughout the day, but he also enjoys having the freedom to do his own thing. One of my favorite things about him is how chatty he can be. The Scoop always seems to have something to say and isn't shy about sharing his opinions. Whether he's commenting on your day or announcing his latest discovery, he keeps life interesting. Although he's independent, he's definitely not boring. The Scoop loves to play and has plenty of kitten energy when it's time for toys and adventures. He enjoys interaction and companionship, just on his own terms. The Scoop was one of six kittens born to Star, a devoted mama cat who was found with her litter at the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. Since then, he's grown into a confident young cat with a personality all his own. He gets along well with other cats and has done well with children. Because he's naturally independent, I think he'd be a wonderful fit for someone who appreciates a cat with a little self-confidence and doesn't expect a constant shadow. The Scoop is the perfect companion for someone who wants all the fun, entertainment, and personality of a kitten without needing a full-time lap cat. He's playful, thoughtful, conversational, and wonderfully comfortable being himself. If you're looking for a cat who will make you smile, keep you entertained, and share your space without demanding all of your attention, The Scoop might just have your story. Story
From her foster mom, Diane: Tulip is a beautiful tortoiseshell girl with a playful spirit and a gentle heart that's still learning to trust. Like many young kittens who haven't had a lot of early socialization, Tulip can be a little cautious when meeting new people. She's not quite ready to be scooped up and cuddled, but she's making progress every day and is beginning to discover that people aren't so scary after all. One thing Tulip already loves is playtime. Bring out a toy and you'll see her confidence shine. She is incredibly fun to watch as she chases, pounces, and entertains herself. Her playful side comes out quickly, and it's easy to see the happy, curious kitten hiding beneath her shy exterior. Tulip also has a habit of quietly watching the people around her. She'll sit nearby, observing everything that's happening, clearly interested and curious even when she isn't quite ready to join in. Those little moments feel like her way of saying she's trying. Her gorgeous tortoiseshell coat makes her especially striking. With her beautiful coloring and expressive eyes, Tulip is every bit as lovely on the outside as she is on the inside. Because she is still learning to feel safe and confident, Tulip would do best with a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. The reward for that patience is the opportunity to watch a shy kitten blossom into a loving companion. Tulip is still very young, and her foster mom has already seen encouraging signs as she slowly comes out of her shell. Given time, consistency, and love, this sweet girl has all the potential to become a wonderful family member. If you have a soft spot for the underdog and enjoy watching a kitten grow in confidence, Tulip may be waiting just for you. Born 04/16/2026 At Meowtown, we don't have a traditional, physical shelter - all of our cats live in loving foster homes. That means they are already used to real home life, and we truly know their personalities, habits, and what makes them special. They are safe, socialized, and ready to be part of a family. They're not waiting to become housecats… they already are. They just need a house. This kitten has not been spayed yet, but is available as Foster2Adopt. You adopt and take the kitten home with you, and we pay for and arrange for spay later.
