Please read the bio & email the address listed in the bio.   Additionally for CATS you  may email  JShelton@eulesstx.gov and for DOGS, email trinitygapclub@gmail.com       *** Courtesy Post – Mattie’s adoption is not through the Euless Animal Shelter ***  Mattie is a very sweet white and brown tabby cat.  She is about 5-1/2 years old.  Mattie was rescued from a shelter because she was too frightened to place into adoption.  Mattie is a very unique girl in that she is a pan leukopenia survivor.  Pan leukopenia (FPV, also known as feline distemper) has no prescribed treatment and the survival rate is dismal.  Mattie was lucky in that she was already an adult cat, and that her foster recognized symptoms that can be confused with other diseases.  The good news is that once cured, she will no longer need any treatment, nor can she catch it again, if exposed. With no cure, it took supportive care such as IV Fluid treatments and antibiotics to make her comfortable.  This daily interaction of care made her welcoming to human touch and kindness.  During her treatment she lost her shyness, found out that she loved being touched and petted, and lastly got to spend her days with other kitty playmates once she was no longer contagious..     Mattie’s other supporter was another cat who has since passed away with cancer.  We know that Mattie would prefer the company of another female, or two, hoping that one might be agreeable to become her best friend. I was at a local shelter as a kitten with my brother.  They were going to release us as community kittens, but we were still little and scared, so Tall Tails Rescue took us.  My brother was not as scared as me and he got adopted quickly, but I didn’t like being at the Bedford PetCo because to me it was scary.  I am now living with my foster mom and she says I am a good boy.  She also says I like to sit in her lap, untie her shoes (fun), and I like to play with my other cat friends that live with her.  I just need a home I can share with you and hopefully, another young cat. Hi everyone, this is really hard for me to write. I’m looking to rehome my sweet cat, and this decision has not come easily. She is an incredibly loving, gentle, and tolerant cat—she’s been amazing with my three young, often rowdy kids and has always been patient and sweet with them. She truly has a wonderful personality and enjoys being around people. Over the past several months, she has been dealing with ongoing health issues, including frequent vomiting (sometimes with blood) and recently going to the bathroom outside the litter box. We have taken her to the vet multiple times, run tests, and tried different foods as recommended. While there have been brief improvements, the issues continue and we haven’t been able to find a clear cause or long-term solution. With everything going on in our household, I’m struggling to keep up with her needs and maintain a clean, safe environment for my kids. As heartbreaking as this is, I believe she deserves a home best for her needs.

Everyone meet Gray! Shes got a sassy face but such a sweet heart. Ive had Gray for about 7-8ish years and she’s amazing but she doesn’t get along with other animals. She does ok with kids as long as she isn’t getting chased or isn’t being forced around. She loves being the boss of the house and giving lots of headbutts! Shes has alot to say and will tell it all to you. :)

He’s timid but a cuddle bug (he’d sleep on my head if I’d let him). For some reason he’s VERY wary of men yet kids are okay. His meow is a soft breathy rasp it’s so cute! He loves watching the window & gets excited when birds/lizards show up. HATES the car and enjoys toys that he can chew on & toss around (his favorite is a rubber stick). Doesn’t like getting his nails cut but allows it if you hold him. Only fed wet food. Regrettably Yuta gets stressed out when my autistic child become loud & chaotic. (He has never brought out his claws or teeth!!) He is an EXTREMELY tolerant cat! When overwhelmed he’ll simply get up & leave. Never even heard a hiss out of him.However it’s been 2 years & he still doesn’t get along with the other cat I adopted. Same breed & age but a petite female. Not malicious but he’s 1. too territorial to live with another cat (idk about him with other pets) & 2. takes out his stress from being triggered on her sometimes. Poor girl is miserable, they both are now :(
