Buster Keaton will steal your heart!! This black and white male kitten, is named after the legendary silent film actor of the 1920s. This little feline is full of curiosity and energy, making every day an exciting new adventure. Buster does great with other cats and is friends with his resident foster dogs. Story
Meet Lucia – A Shy Sweetheart Looking for a Gentle Home 🐾 3 Years Old | Grey & White | Female | 8 lbs Lucia is a petite and lovely 3-year-old kitty with soft grey fur accented by delicate white markings. Though she may be shy at first, this sweet girl has a gentle heart and just needs a little time and patience to feel safe. Once she warms up, she’ll reward you with purring biscuit-making sessions and absolutely adores having her nose rubbed. One of Lucia’s favorite pastimes is birdwatching from her window seat—it’s her peaceful happy place. She’s also very social with other cats and thrives when she has a feline companion. In fact, she blossoms with a confident kitty friend by her side, gaining courage and playful energy. Lucia is full grown at just 8 pounds, making her the perfect little lap cat. She would do best in a quiet home with a cat-savvy adopter who understands that trust takes time—but the reward is a deeply loyal and loving companion. 💛 If you have a calm home and perhaps another friendly cat looking for a buddy, Lucia might just be your perfect match. All Abandoned Pet Project Rescue adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age appropriate vaccines upon adoption. Story
Meet the inquisitive Penny. She is a regal 1 year old orange and white, 6 lb. beauty, with a white heart in the center of her back. Contrasting with her soft orange tabby color, she has soft as a cloud white legs and chest. She often lies with her legs out front in a very convincing imitation of an Egyptian sphinx. In early 2024, Harley and her sister Penny were adopted as kittens by a single mom with 2 young children. Fast forward a year, and that loving mom passed away, the 2 children have moved to their dadâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s house, and Harley and Penny are looking for another furever home. Penny is an independent and energetic kitty who would make a great spy â&#194&#128&#194&#147 she loves to sneak around and investigate everything. But, she also loves a good rumble with her sister Harley â&#194&#128&#194&#147 chasing her through the kitty tunnel and then rolling on the floor. Penny has only been exposed to dogs from afar â&#194&#128&#194&#147 she and Harley live upstairs in their foster home while the â&#194&#128&#194&#156not friendly with catsâ&#194&#128&#194&#157 dog lives downstairs. She gets along with her sister Harley, allowing for the typical sibling squabbles, but has not had the opportunity to meet other felines. She and Harley would love to be adopted together; they provide each other with company and a good bit of exercise as they play chase and hide and seek. Penny likes to follow her humans as they go about their daily chores, and will occasionally leap onto your shoulder. She considers the bathroom sink her own personal water fountain â&#194&#128&#194&#147 loves to drink the cool fresh water from the tap. An ideal home for Penny would be one with a loving and patient human as it may take her a while to warm up and be comfortable. Penny loves to play with stick and string toys, leaping into the air to try to catch the toy. She also loves to run and jump onto just about any flat surface. If you have room in your heart and home for 2 kitties, Harley and Penny would bring both comfort and amusement while providing each other with companionship and plenty of exercise. If you only have room for one, Penny would love to be that one. Penny is litter box trained, and she LOVES treats â&#194&#128&#194&#147 any treats â&#194&#128&#194&#147 all treats. On her to-do list is getting comfortable with being picked up. She loves to be petted as she walks by and loves gentle ear scratches. This pretty kitty is deserving of the perfect furever home where she can truly become part of someoneâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s life. Could it be with you? Apply to adopt Penny X (and maybe Harley too) today! * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * If you have a specific question about Penny X, then please email newdigs@dallaspetsalive.org.
