Story
Beans aka Miss Beanie aka Coffee Bean is an absolute doll baby! All she wants to do is lay next to you while you work and every now and then rolls over for belly rubs. She plays fetch with a small cat toy and enjoys jumping for a string toy as well! She loves other cats and even wants to hang out with her foster doggies too! She doesn't seem to see the difference and thinks the dogs are apart of her pack.....or she thinks she is a dog! lol Beans has a very classic tabby look, with one big exception! She has a permanent curly tail and walks low on her back legs which is characteristics of the new breed of cat called an American Ringtail also known as the Ringtail Sing-A-Ling. This is a very unique and super rare type of cat. She is very friendly and requires a tall cat tree and window ledge to bird watch out a window. She loves to be with her human the most though! Beans is a very low shedder and keeps a very slim build. You can leave her dry food out and free feed as this breed of cat in particular do not over eat. American Ringtail cat typically has a coat that is short or medium length. Their coats usually are effortless to maintain, and they tend to keep themselves clean. They have a wonderful personality and seem to communicate with their owners as they speak with them. They are affectionate and quite outgoing, although shyness can surface around strangers, but do warm up quickly. We would love for this special girl to find her family with another cat or a cat friendly dog. Are you her people? Apply today to meet BEANS! All Abandoned Pet Project Rescue adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age appropriate vaccines upon adoption. Hi there, I'm Matcha, a delightful feline looking for a loving forever home. My name comes from my vibrant personality and the calming effect I bring to those around me. I'm known for being incredibly sweet and affectionate. Nothing makes me happier than snuggling up close for pets and cuddles. I have a curious nature and absolutely adore watching birds and squirrels from the window - it's like having my own personal wildlife show! I'm quite the social butterfly too. I get along famously with dogs and love playing with other cats. However, I'm perfectly content to be the center of attention if I'm your only furry companion. I'm adaptable like that! In addition to my charming personality, I'm also very tidy with my litter box and enjoy lounging in cozy spots around the house. I'm a low-maintenance girl who just wants to share my affection with a family that will cherish me. If you're looking for a loving companion who will bring joy and warmth to your home, look no further than me, Matcha. Let's make each other's lives brighter - adopt me today! Hugh was found next to her mother, in Houston, who did not survive birth. She was nursed back to health. She has been with me ever since. Our dogs used to get along with her, but they have sort of alienated the cats in the house and the cats need a home to be free in. Hugh has a companion cate named Mister. We are trying to rehome them together. They both love to play, wrestle, and cuddle. They are both females.

Story
Meet sleek and gorgeous house panther Simon! He was found all alone outside and the person who found him knew he needed a hero. Simon is a shy boy getting used to safe indoor life and meeting new humans. His foster dad shares that this boy loves to be petted and have his back and neck rubbed. Likes a good massage. He seems to get along with other cats but hasn’t had a lot of interaction yet. He especially likes to play with his little toys, especially a ball with a bell.  Though shy at first, given a little attention he warms up to people quick. His estimated birth date is March 28, 2023. ##1847755##

Story
Meet gorgeous Orange Tabby girl Tangie! Check out her glorious stripes and her rust-colored orange fur. She came to us after being surrendered to a local animal shelter along with her kittens. Tangie is now an empty-nester! Currently, Tangie is with a loving foster family and has certainly benefited from being fostered. Not only did she become gorgeous and gain the weight she needed, but her personality has changed a lot as she has become comfortable and feels safe and secure.  Tangie loves being in the vicinity of a human. She finds the back of a couch to lay on if you are on the couch and perches happily on an arm of a chair so that she is next to you.. It is adorable. She loves playing - a tennis ball, a toy mouse, really any cat toy will make her happy. And she loves and adores watching cat TV. She is getting used to the company of the other resident cats in her foster home. Recently, one of the foster family’s cats was licking Tangie’s ear for a bit. Real progress learning to share a home with another friendly feline. Tangie loves her food and the way to her heart is through pretty much ANY canned foods. Her foster mom shares that she can see Tangie progress to a lap cat in a loving adopted home environment pretty quick.  Her estimated birth date is May 7, 2022. Cats adopted from TMHPR are indoor only. ##1861215##

Meet Miracle. She got this beautiful name since it WAS a miracle that she survived the deep ravine and the crazy Costco parking lot,. All alone and very teeny, she was scooped up and added to the TMHPR program. This pretty Tabby girl loves to be held, petted and her playtime. And, as you can plainly see by her photos, she is a cuddler and loves to be on a chest, a lap...anyplace close to a two-legged companion! She really digs all kinds of cat toys but feathered wands are a favorite. She gets along with the other resident cats in her foster home and would be fine with a cat friendly dog. Her estimated birth date is August 31, 2023. Cats adopted from TMHPR are indoor only. ##1850131##

Story
Meet Cannoli. Looking for a snuggler and a napping buddy? This is your guy. This is one sweet Orange Tabby boy who came to Take Me Home Pet Rescue from a local animal shelter. He is THE sweetest boy ever according to his foster mom. And so handsome. Typical Orange Tabby personality. Loves to hang out with her in her office and enjoys pets and chin scratches. Just a mellow guy. Very good company and a gentle soul who likes a window to watch out of and the comfort and safety of a loving home. FIV (Feline immunodeficiency virus) is a viral infection that affects cats. It causes affected animals to have a weaker immune system.  FIV cats can enjoy a happy life and can make wonderful companions. Adopting an FIV positive cat can be really rewarding. Although nobody can predict the future, many FIV cats can potentially live long, healthy and full lives, just like a non-infected cat. They also have all the usual needs of any cat, such as a nutritious diet, mental stimulation and plenty of love! If you are interested in meeting Cannoli, please complete an application (no obligation) and you can discuss his needs with one of the adoption counselors. His estimated birth date is  March 2, 2020. Cats adopted from TNHPR are inddor only. ##1750115##
