Story
Mickey is a handsome orange tabby who is still learning to trust new people and may sometimes let you know he needs a little more space. He’s not ready to seek out affection or play with humans just yet. But there’s a gentleness about him that tells us his heart isn’t closed — it’s just unsure. With time, patience and maybe another feline friend, we believe Mickey will begin to feel safe enough to show the sweet soul we know is in there. He’s best suited for a home where he can enjoy the freedom to explore and acclimate to being a confident companion. Mickey is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all of his vaccinations. You can meet him at the CASPCA between the hours of 12 and 6 PM daily, no appointment necessary. If you have any additional questions, please email adoptions@caspca.org.

Story
Meet Merlin! Merlin is a mystical soul with striking, deep blue eyes that seem to hold secrets of another world. With a calm and gentle disposition, he’s a bit like a clam—quiet and reserved at first, but if you’re patient enough to wait, he’ll reveal the precious pearl that is his true personality. An attentive observer, Merlin prefers to watch the world unfold from a distance rather than dive right in, and while he’s not one for hands-on affection, when he chooses to come to you, his quiet sweetness will melt your heart in ways you never expected. Merlin is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all of his vaccinations. You can meet him at the CASPCA between the hours of 12 and 6 PM daily, no appointment necessary. Story
Regina Phalange is a nearly 5 year old cat who is bonded with her sister from the same litter, Phoebe. They were originally rescued from a field and have somewhat enjoyed apartment life since then. They are very bonded. Regina is a very smart cat. She plays fetch! She is high energy and will be sprinting the halls at night. However she is the first to greet guests, and will immediately hop on your lap when you get on the couch. Regina would love the opportunity to be an outdoor cat once again, it least for part of the time! She would ideally be adopted as a bonded pair with her sister from

Story
I adopted Dahlia from the SPCA in December 2018. I heard from the woman who had fostered her that she was found pregnant and had a litter in foster care but lost a few of her babies. They brought her some kittens that had been orphaned and she fed them and took care of them until they were old enough to be on their own. She came home with us and loved laying on my lap and curling up next to me while I worked on the couch. Even though she HATES getting in the cat carrier, she’s famous at our vets office, all the staff love her and actually get excited when we make her appointments. We adopted 2 kittens that she has not taken to and is now getting ganged up on by the two cats as they got older, to the point she needs medication. I am REALLY heartbroken to give her up because I have always felt that we adopt animals for their whole lives but I really want her to be happy and while I think she’d take a little while to adjust, I think she’d be so much happier as an only kitty for someone.

Story
Autumn is a beautiful, playful, and spunky calico kitty with a big appetite and even bigger personality/heart! She was adopted at 2 months old at a rescue. She was diagnosed in March 2023 with Feline Hyperesthesia Sydrome, a chronic condition that will need to be managed by medication and evaluated throughout her lifetime. She is so smart and loves to play fetch! Autumn would thrive in a indoor only, calm home as a solo pet or another calm kitty with adults that are gentle, patient and willing to provide her with both the ongoing FHS management, space and stimulation she needs. Her FHS episodes cause her to be very anxious, but if well managed, she can be a very sweet and playful kitty. She is a treasure.
