This absolutely adorable Tabby was born August of 2023.   Riley has such an expressive face and unique coloration that he tends to steal your breath (and heart, let's be real) with a glance. This little man knows no toy that he doesn't love, but if you bring forth his ultimate nemesis - the laser light, it is game on like Donkey Kong. He will chase that light like his life depends on it, bringing forth his ultimate hunting technique, especially if he loses sight of it. He has been known to find the laser light on the ceiling, follow it back to the floor and take off to capture it! Don't get him wrong - he LOVES playing, but he also has that softer side. Riley loves taking naps, especially with his person. He'll curl up in your lap while you're watching tv or reading a good book and is ready to offer his warmth to cuddle you at night. Don't worry, he'll protect you from these crazy wind storms! Riley would do best as an only cat though. Not only does he want to be showered with your love and attention, but other cats actually tend to frighten him. Don't let that stop you, though! Ace is on his way to the Grand Line in search of his ultimate treasure - His Furever Home! Ace is the very definition of Kitten Energy. He is quite active and seems to have an abundance of both physical and mental energy. He's always ready for new adventures or action, which has led him to accidentally closing himself in a room a time or two. This bundle of energy views a lot of things as toys - empty toilet paper rolls, springs, balls, feathers, lasers, mirrors, phone reflections, food. You name it, he probably thinks it's a toy ready for his attention. While he doesn't explore as much as his brother Luffy(also available), he is also known to ignore rooms once he's explored them unless given a purpose to be there - such as you, his brother or other cats having ventured within without him.  Ace has a tendency to run his battery dry and then needs all the naps. Heaven forbid you interrupt said naps. The look of judgement this one presents you upon waking? None can compare. He's got the cutest little grumpy face though!  As we like to say, you have ground cats and you have tree cats. Ace is 1000% a tree cat. Not only is he casting judgement on those he can see from his tree or window, there is a not an item he won't climb - tables, counters, beds, sinks. He liked to look at what a handsome man he is. To quote his foster dad, "If Mt Everest were indoors, Ace would be the first cat to crest the peak." Ace is still warming up to people so he isn't quite lap cat material, but this sweetheart loves to fall asleep touching you - laying his head against your hand, a paw on your leg. He does tend to pick a bit more distance if he's looking for that re-charge sleep and tends to pick the other side of the couch or something within the same room as his human.  Ace would do best in a home that can offer him that patience to continue growing into that incredible personality he's been showing off. He would also do best in a home with another friendly cat, or even his brother, Luffy.
