Meet bonded pair Ms. Friskies & Ms. Fancy Feast! Ms. Friskies is a beautiful 8-month-old tabby cat with a vibrant orange and red coat. She is a playful and curious feline who is looking for her forever home. Ms. Fancy Feast is a curious and affectionate 8-month-old cat who loves to explore her surroundings and playing with her sister. They are always together. She may take some time to warm up to new people and her surroundings, but once she does, she will show her playful and loving side. Ms. Friskies and Ms. Fancy Feast are recent graduates from our Monroe Prison Foster program. They both needed more socialization. They have done very well being back at our shelter and are now ready for their forever home. It is unknown how they will be around kids or cat friendly dogs, but with a very slow and proper introduction, they could adapt well. Meet Mao-Mao! She's a beautiful 12 year old Torbie who is the sweetest thing. Mao-Mao still has a playful side, but also enjoys lounging and looking out the window. She loves her cheeks and chin rubbed. Also, she's not opposed to kisses on her forehead. This doesn't mean she doesn't like her body touched, though. She flops on the floor and gratefully accepts belly rubs; they just have to be on her terms. She does have arthritis and high blood pressure which she's on medication, Gabapentin and Amlodipine. She's been doing great on these medications. Mao-Mao doesn't do well with dogs, but she would be ok with older, gentle kids, and would prefer to be the only pet. Like all Purrfect Pals felines, Mao-Mao has been altered, microchipped, viral tested, and up to date on her vaccines. Soft Paw has been cared for by a kind neighbor and they say she is a very gentle and loving cat. This sweet lady would do best in a quiet home, without young children or dogs. Soft Paw has never lived with other cats, but she may do well with a slow and careful introduction. Soft Paw absolutely loves to lay on the back of a couch, in front of a sunny window, and soak up the sun! She also loves to be brushed after she eats her wet food. Soft Paw loves to purr and knead and she eats a regular diet of dry and canned food happily! Soft Paw is fearful of loud sounds and needs time to get to know new people. Meet bonded pair Kali & Kirby! Kali is very sweet 10 month old dilute calico who is a big love bug once she gets comfortable with her humans. Kali & Kirby love scratching boxes, spring toys, and feather wands. She's a big cuddler and shows it by purring loudly. Both Kali & Kirby tested positive for Toxoplasmosis back in April. They were treated with antibiotics and have recently tested negative. They are both healthy, but Toxoplasmosis could potentially recur again. Toxoplasmosis is a disease caused by the parasite Toxoplasma gondii. It is most often associated with cats but can infect all warm-blooded species including humans. It's imperative to keep their litter box clean, take precautions while cleaning, not feeding raw diets will help.
