Story
Elliott was super scared when he first arrived. The first month was hiding but he is a different cat now! He is not super cuddly but he likes to hang out where you are and will occasionally lay in your lap. Elliott is rarely vocal. If he is is letting you know he needs something...food usually! LOL He's a sweet boy and his favorite pass time is bug hunting! I'm sure he will regress a bit when adopted but with patience and love he will quickly get back to how he is now Elliott uses the litter box and is a good eater. We've really had no issues with him! $150 adoption fee. He is neutered, chipped, vaccines up to date and dewormed. We accept venmo, cash, checks, credit cards. Applications must be received before meets are set up. If you rent, please be ready to provide proof you are allowed to have a pet. We do not EVER ship dogs or cats. To apply please go to www.mainstreetmuttrescue.com and click on Adopt. If you click picture the application button should come up.

Story
Dash is a natural born killer! Looking for a mouser...you've found him! Since we started letting him outside because he kept finding ways out he has brought home all kinds of things. LOL Not always what I'm wanting but he seems pretty proficient at hunting. He's not a cuddly cat but he will lay next to you, loves to be petted and follow you around. Food bowl empty..he'll let you know! He can be vocal but its not constant..usually just when he's protesting or wants out. He's been great with my two small dogs, and my other adult cats. He loves to lay in front of windows and watch outside. Adoption is $150 (includes microchip, deworming, vaccines up to date, and neuter). We accept venmo, cash, checks, Credit cards Applications must be received before meets are set up. If you rent, please be ready to provide proof you are allowed to have a pet. We do not EVER ship dogs or cats. To apply please go to www.mainstreetmuttrescue.com and click on Adopt. If you click picture the application button should come up.

Story
Allow us to reintroduce you to Olaf aka ChoCho, Choseph Cholafski, or Chogurt. His government name is Olaf but he responds to Cho. Let us tell you a little bit about this Cho. He is a 9 year old, indoor only, silky soft, sweet guy looking for a true forever home. You can tell by his flagrant display of side eye, he is real tired of your nonsense. He has had his heart broken a few too many times and he insists that his next home be in it for the long haul (can you blame the guy?). Cho has always been himself and been up-front about what he wants, and doesn’t want.  Wants:  -peace and quiet  -unyielding eternal devotion Does not want:  -change -disrespect to his bubble ChoCho has lived with other pets and begrudgingly tolerated them, but we have found he feels most validated when he has the attention of his staff all to himself and will excel as an only pet. Cho is the kind of cat who will choose one person in a pair and remain fiercely loyal to that one. He accepts attention from the other human, but does not like to dedicate too much of his energy on them. Do not mistake this for clinginess- Cho is also fiercely independent and while he does love affection, it is on his terms only. He seems to favor male humans with calm demeanors. Cho is selective about his toys, choosing to play only with his favorites but when he does, he really lets loose! ChoCho May come across as a staunch businessman, but behind his no-nonsense exterior, is a sweet boy looking for someone to finally reciprocate the devotion he gives to his chosen person. He does not like new situations and requires an experienced cat person who can be patient while he learns his new surroundings and learns to trust yet another new person. All AHS adoptions come with a standard 10-day trial period, however in Olaf's case we are willing to extend this trial period to 15 days, or potentially longer if needed.  All of our cats come spayed or neutered, microchipped, and with age-appropriate vaccinations. Senior cats have an adoption fee of $100. If you would like to apply to be a forever home for this cat, please fill out a statement of interest at www.alternativehumanesociety.com. Unless otherwise indicated, all our cats and kittens are best suited for indoor-only life.  ##239094##

Story
Looking for a feline friend who's as unique as they are adorable? Look no further than Milo! With his rich orange eyes, adorable ear tufts, kinked tail, and feet that look like double paws, Milo is truly one-of-a-kind. Despite facing some tough times, Milo's heart is as big as his polydactyl feet! He's longing for a loving family who can show him that the world can be a safe and cozy place. While new noises make him a bit skittish, his love shines through in the presence of gentle souls, especially children. Once he feels secure, he will relax and purr (and even smile) and cuddle and seek attention, especially from children, or his trusted person. He is very loving. He loves to bump heads and rub against his trusted person. He will even hold your hand with his extremely unique paws! He will lovingly follow his person all over the house (he’s indoor only), and is very talkative (he even says “hi” and “mom”). Milo would make a good ESA for a gentle child, looking for a rewarding relationship once he has learned to trust his new environment. Sadly, Milo has seen some of the worst sides of how humans can behave, so he is going to need a lot of reassurance from his new family that they love him and are not going to hurt him. His instinct is to try to hide or run when adults enter a room. Milo will need a family that can be patient and reassuring to him as he settles in to a new environment. His ideal family has a gentle child or two who are willing to be patient and and build a gentle bond with him to help him build confidence.  All of our cats come spayed or neutered, microchipped, and with age-appropriate vaccinations. Young cats have an adoption fee of $175. If you would like to apply to be a forever home for this cat, please fill out a statement of interest at www.alternativehumanesociety.com. Unless otherwise indicated, all our cats and kittens are best suited for indoor-only life.  ##2002342##

Story
**Availble for meet and greets in the Seattle area!** Smart, mischievous, and brave in the oddest ways, Naranja is unlike any cat we’ve ever met! He is the definition of a cat-like cat, but with a goofy orange cat personality. One minute he's an aloof ninja, the next he's a cuddly little baby. Whether he’s playing with the Roomba or imitating a silent Ninja assassin, Naranja is never dull! He is still an orange cat after all. To live with Naranja, you need to keep up with his split personality. He can be stand offish and cat-like... and then moments later you find him hanging out with a gigantic dog he just met or completely ignoring the fact that you’re vacuuming next to him. There's that orange cat personality again! Oh yes and he’s SMART and CRAFTY! He can open the cabinet where his food is stored and help himself to an extra meal when he feels like it. He's incredibly food motivated. This guy will do anything for some wet food treats. He even offers to share your plate with you if it's within reach! Didn't we mention he was a stealthy ninja mixed with total orange cat personality? All in all, he’s a low-maintenance kitty, not demanding of your attention (except when you are opening a can). But hey, this shows potential he can be trained! Naranja gets along beautifully with other cats and likes dogs as long as they’re not bonkers. Naranja grew up with multiple other kittens as well as adult cats, and even a few dogs! Maybe it is his back story that makes him special? Naranja is an orphan bottle baby that was adopted by one of our mama cats. He fit in perfectly with her litter of orange fruits! He’s just under a year old now. He can be a hard to get kind of kitty, but once he realizes you have good food, a cuddle space in the crook of your knee, and a bird-watching window - he’s ALL YOURS. Do you share Naranja's sense of humor and adventure? Does your kitty want a playmate? Do you have treats to give? Naranja would love to come home to you! Apply here to adopt Naranja: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/64ffeb42369d34092b0fad81 Questions? Email bailey@threelittlepittiesrescue.org https://youtube.com/shorts/NocFovRdUkg?si=mxXYOjCpOYfpt6tD Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO, UT, ID, OR, WA, VT, CT, VA, NY, PA, OH & Canada (Canadian adopter must pick up in Washington state i.e. Bellingham, WA or closest U.S stop)! Our cats are brought to you in style by a beautiful private bus, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24-hour care. Pick-up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private Facebook Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick-up location to you! The adoption fee is $325 and includes all vetting: FVRCP vaccines (minimum of 2 but could be more depending on age and time in the program), FeLV vaccines, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, combo tested, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a health certificate deeming the kitty healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.facebook.com/ThreeLittlePittiesRescueSavingKitties/ https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/ *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $40 surcharge for transport.
