**I`m available for adoption as a Working Cat!**•Intake Reason: Stray•Socialization: Unsocialized to people•WCHS recommends I am an: Outdoor CatRead more about working cats below & read further on to discover what a gem I am. If you`re interested in adopting me as an outdoor cat, please fill out an application online on the working cat page. All working cat adoptions are name your own price. They come spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and with a left ear tip. --Working cats are important members of the outdoor community that provide companionship to their caretakers and help with rodent & disease control. They are typically fearful cats that prefer to avoid people but may become friendly with time and a little bit of TLC. To adopt a working cat, caretakers should have shelter like a barn, garage, shed, etc., for the cat to cozy up in. They should also be able to provide daily food and water. All adopters must have a small, enclosed area like a large wire dog crate or a tack room to house the cat in for at least 2 weeks after adoption to give the cat time to adjust.

These outdoor-savvy cats thrive in environments where they can put their natural instincts to work. They excel at pest and disease control, helping keep rodents at bay, and they often form bonds with the people and animals who share their space.Adopting a working cat is simple and incredibly rewarding. Caretakers must provide the essentials—shelter, food, and water—and have a small temporary space, such as a large wire dog crate, to quarantine the cat for two weeks after adoption. Intake Reason: Transfer from MADACC.Known with: ·Cats: Unknown ·Kids: Unknown ·Dogs: UnknownCute and playful, kittens are bound to bring life to any home! These high energy felines are great additions to families with time to dedicate to playing and helping the kittens learn and grow. Having another young cat or kitten as a playmate for each other is also a good way to keep them active without having to give them your constant attention. Kittens play hard and sleep hard, oftentimes to extremes. Mischief runs through every kitten`s veins, which can sometimes be overwhelming. Although they always look adorable and cuddly, please remember that tomfoolery and high energy are just around the corner.

Story
**I have Feline Leukemia. Feline leukemia (FeLV) is a viral disease that weakens a cat’s immune system, making them more susceptible to illnesses. Unfortunately, there is no cure for FeLV. However, many cats with this condition can still enjoy happy, healthy lives with routine monitoring and regular veterinary care. These cats are just like any other cat—they deserve love, attention, and a safe environment. My adoption fee is sponsored by WCHS.**Intake Reason: Transferred from another rescue. Was previously an outdoor cat and his caretaker could no longer care for him. Known with: ·Cats: Good. Lived with others of all ages/sexes. If the new home has cats, they should also be FeLV+. ·Dogs: Unknown ·Kids: UnknownSigma is a young, spirited cat with a heart full of adventure. Playful and outgoing, he loves exploring his surroundings and turning everyday moments into exciting games. His active nature keeps him on the move—whether it’s chasing toys, climbing to new heights, or racing through the house with boundless energy. Despite his lively personality, Sigma is incredibly affectionate. He enjoys curling up for snuggles after a day of fun, reminding everyone that beneath his bold exterior is a loving companion. Sigma’s charm lies in his perfect balance of playfulness and warmth, making him a joy to be around.
