This orangey-red kitty was found in a pole-barn with her siblings and their mother. Nurturing Mango over the past several months acclimated her safely indoors; she will do well with another cat to play with. And she loves to play, and goes crazy over string-on-stick toys, catnip-stuffed toys, and knows how to use a scratching post. Spoiled already, Mango entertains herself as well, surrounded by windows to the great outdoors; she is fascinated by birds and squirrels finding the sun-rays for an afternoon nap. Mango knows terrifically how to relax near you too and give a few sociable head-butts. She has grown accustomed to brushes, combs and gentle petting. She is independent like most female kitties, she is a little shy but readily looks to engage a trusting bond.

Her foster family said she can be reserved until she gets into a routine. She has a very calm demeanor and will need time to adjust. Her new family should be patient as it can take a little longer for her to get used to everything. Ellie's favorite toys include peacock feathers and plastic balls.
