Story
Alfredo is a delightful 3 year old tuxedo cat who will make you laugh and smile with his amusing antics! He is friendly, outgoing, affectionate and playful and is an all-around wonderful companion. Unfortunately, when we adopted him we did not know that he was unable to get along with other cats. We tried for 18 months to integrate him with our other cat and it simply did not work out, so it is with very heavy hearts that we are seeking a new home for him where he can have run of the house and plenty of room to play. He is great with older children and adults. He loves to play with catnip mice and plastic springs (if you thrown them down the hall, he will go chasing after them in the most amusing way!), and when he's all tuckered out from playing, he will happily sit with you and purr while you read a book. It is imperative that Alfredo be an only cat. He is such a sweetheart with humans, and we know he would be a wonderful addition to a family that has no other animals.

Story
Mel and Misty (at around five weeks old) were brought to my porch by their mom, Minnie. I recently moved all three of them into a spare room in my home for safety. Mel (mostly white w/calico patches) and Misty (calico) are now eight weeks old. They are sisters, and need to be adopted together. Though a bit shy, they've made great strides in a short time. If desired, their mama Minnie can be included in the adoption. Though she's been an outdoor cat most of her life, she is very friendly and litter-box trained. I would love to keep them, but I already have three cats. Minnie, Mel and Misty are in a spare bedroom away from my current cats.

Story
This is Minnie, a porch kitty who brought her kittens to my doorstep. Though she has been an outdoor cat, she has a very even temperament. She loves to be petted, and would make someone a great companion. Minnie is also a great little hunter, and would possibly make a good barn cat as well. I would love to keep her, but I already have three kitties of my own. But if you have room in your heart and home for this sweet girl, you won't be disappointed.

Story
*I'm available for adoption from my foster home! If you're interested in meeting me, please contact the shelter and ask for Kelly.*· Intake Reason: surrendered for litterbox issues. WCHS believes litterbox issues in previous home were due to tension between her and the other cat. My new home should have at least two extra tall litterboxes and they should be scooped daily.Known with:· Cats: WCHS highly recommends no cats. She lived with another cat previously that would chase her.· Dogs: lived with Newfoundland from puppy to adult and did well· Kids: Calm children best. Oreo took time to get comfortable with the children in her previous home.· Personality: Oreo might do best in a quieter home and may take a bit of time to adjust to her new surroundings. She loves to spend time with her humans while being brushed, and is quite playful for an older gal. Her foster parent says that she loves wand toys and Churu. She enjoys fresh water from the tap and prefers a nice evening on the couch with her person.
