MEET PEPPER!!Sadly, Pepper was a young pup that has lived a crappy life in a short period of time!Pepper was found roaming the streets. She was malnourished, limping and in severe pain.We took Pepper to the Urgent care and they told us that she was shot with a BB and it shattered her hip (femoral head) in 10 pieces.You could literally hear her hip crunch. She was in pain and suffered this way for a long time. She was full of fleas and ticks.She had FHO surgery and is now doing great!Pepper is a 2 year old and weighs about 12 lbs. She loves to have fun and run and play with her furry friends!Pepper needs some time to warm up to strangers but with some treats she can become their best friend!! MEET LIZZIE Sadly, Lizzie was running in traffic and was inches from being killed by four cars! A rescuer jumped out of her car and ran after her and found the owner. Sadly, Lizzie's owner said they got a newer bigger dog and didn't want her anymore. We can't figure out why! She is a sweetie! Lizzie is about one year old and weighs about 8lbs. Lizzie is a cuddler and loves to be with her person and is a "Stage Four" clinger! She loves toys and to play. She is great with other dogs and cats! Lizzie needs a foster or an adopter! Lil Bit has got to be the sweetest and most mild mannered little senior dog. He is 11 years old and has the cutest, dignified, graying face. He weighs 17 lbs, has extra long legs, and extra tall ears. He's definitely a mix breed, but we just can't figure out what the mix could be. He came to Humane Tomorrow with his sister, Coco, when their person sadly passed away. Although they are comfortable with each other, they are not strongly bonded and can be adopted separately. Lil Bit has a passive nature and is happy to allow other dogs to lead the way. He will also be fine as an only dog, so he can get all the cuddles! He may be a ltitle reserved at first, but once he feels safe and secure, his super sweet love bug side comes out. Lil Bit is potty trained, not a big barker and walks well on leash. Because he is a senior, he qualifies for our half price adoption fee. Please submit your application, and an adoption counselor will contact you.

Gumbo arrived at Humane Tomorrow before he was born! His very pregnant mom was pulled from a shelter and went directly to a foster home. Mom had five precious puppies a few days later on 7/24/26. Gumbo is the only puppy from his litter that is still available for adoption. We saved the best for last! Gumbo is a little timid at first. He is so tiny that that his new world can seem a little scary, but he warms up quickly when he realizes he is in a safe place with loving people. He loves to be held and cuddle with his people. He likes to play with all types of toys, and it is so funny to see him go after toys bigger than he is. Please submit your application to adopt Gumbo, and an adoption counselor will contact you.

Kramer is a distinguished senior gentleman, 14 years young. He qualifies for our senior discount adoption fee of $125. We think he may be a mix of Shiba Inu and Chihuahua, but that's just our best guess. He was living a perfectly happy and content life until his people became too ill to care for him. Humane Tomorrow promised to find him another forever home. He has settled into the routine at his foster home very well. Kramer loves his meal time, treats, nap time, car rides, snuggling, and evening walks. He is house and crate trained. He gets along with the cats in his foster home, but he mostly stays out of their way. Kramer would be an excellent only dog, but he may do fine with an older, laid back dog. He likes to snuggle on his own terms, but he not like to be picked up or held. Kramer qualifies for our senior discount fee, so please submit your application, and an adoption counselor will contact you.
