Shautzee is a 13-year-old black Chiweenie who is spayed and up to date on all vaccinations. She has been a loving companion and an important part of my family for many years. She is a senior dog looking for a quiet, loving home where she can spend her golden years surrounded by care and affection. Shautzee enjoys being around people and deserves a stable environment where she can feel safe and loved. This has been an extremely difficult decision. Due to unexpected housing issues and personal circumstances, I am no longer able to keep her. My landlord has given me a very short timeframe to rehome her, and I want to make sure she finds the best home possible. I am hoping to find someone kind and patient who will give Shautzee the love, comfort, and care she deserves.

Story
We rescued Penny approximately 8 months ago. The vet puts her around 7 years old. This sweet little girl was found wandering around Lake Worth. She's affectionate, super snuggly, loves to follow you around, go for walks, and roll on her back to play with you. She gets along with the kids, cats and other dogs. She's never bitten and responds fairly well to commands. We've done our best to potty train but she still has the occasional accident. Being able to be outside with her for every potty break is a must. When we rescued her, the vet said she has worn down teeth - likely due to being crated too often or too long in her previous home or homes. I have tried saving for her dental work, yet through a series of unfortunate events, I can't scrape together enough money to help her. Now we're displaced from our home and it's become painfully clear she needs more stability and care than I'm able to offer her right now.

Llama is a very loving. Unfortunately I have to move and unable to take her with me. It hurts me so much to let her go since she as been with me for the last 6 years. She is house trained and loves to cuddle. She is the perfect companion to cuddle and watch some shows. I just wish to find her a good home with people who will love her as we do.

Sol was born on 2-2-22 in South TX in the RGV. She gets along with our 15 yr old mixed terrier. We got Sol when she was 3 months old so she grew up with our old lady Heaven. She doesn't get along with other dogs. She loves attention and very energetic. She runs fast and loves to sun bathe. Her bark is loud and sounds like a big dogs bark. She's for sure a good watch dog. She is a med sized dog. Weights between 20lbs to 25lbs

I originally got Cash a year ago, she is about 3 now. She is sweet and has a lot of personality, loves treats, she’s a lap dog so she loves to be under her owner. Goes crazy for treats and snacks. Unfortunately I have an older dog who still does not get along with her. It’s difficult to have Cash out because the older dog will growl and try to get at her, which in turn prevents me from letting Cash stay out. I would like someone who loves chihuahuas and is experienced with them to adopt her and give her a loving home where she is spoiled.

This is Kaj. We got her from a family friend since they moved, she is a 4 year old chihuahua/dachshund mix, she has been spayed previously and is up to date on shots. We can no longer keep her because we’ve moved into an HOA that only allows us to one dog unfortunately, she is a great companion but the only thing is she just doesn’t get along with other female dogs. Travis is a three year old, 14 lb Chihuahua/Dachshund mix. He's a Chiweenie! He is so cute with his soulful eyes, a right ear that flops over backwards, and his little mustache. Travis loves toys, and his favorite is a bone that is almost as big as he is! He also likes playing with the other dog in his foster home. He loves cuddles and burrowing under a blanket. It's a Chiweenie thing! This cute little guy may be a little timid at first, but he will warm up quickly, given a little time to settle in. He will do best in a fairly calm, quiet home. Lil Bit has got to be the sweetest and most mild mannered little senior dog. He weighs 17 lbs, so he's probably a Chihuahua mix, we just can't figure out what the mix could be. He came to Humane Tomorrow with his sister, Coco, when their person sadly passed away. Although they are comfortable with each other, they are not strongly bonded and can be adopted separately. Lil Bit has a passive nature and is happy to allow other dogs to lead the way. He will also be fine as an only dog, so he can get all the cuddles! He may be a ltitle reserved at first, but once he feels safe and secure, his super sweet love bug side comes out. He is potty trained, not a big barker and walks well on leash. This pint-sized senior girl is 10 years old and going strong. Coco is weighs in at a whopping 7 lbs, and we are guessing she is mixed with Maltese. She still likes to play with toys, but she can also entertain herself by looking out the window to see what's going on in the neighborhood. Coco is especially happy when she spots a butterfly! Her crate is her comfort zone, and she will go there for naps or just chilling out. Coco came to Humane Tomorrow with another dog, Lil Bit, when their person sadly passed away. She can be adopted with him, but she is an independent little dog, and will do fine as an only dog. Coco is not a big cuddler, but she does like to lay close by her person.
