Story
Hi I'm Rosie. If you are wondering what gives me my cool coloring it's because I'm a "Dutch" Shepherd. Like the GSD and Malinois, I'm a herding breed and pretty similar in termperament. I'm a senior girl but don't let that scare you. I'm ready to go whenever you are and I'm a wonderful balance of energy. I like walks, riding in the car, saying hi to the horses - you know - just being with my people. I'm a healthy, active girl. I don't need marathons but I do need to keep my figure.  On top of all that wonderful dog stuff, I am vibrant, sweet, and super affiliative. Wherever your'e headed, I’m happy to come along. If it's snuggling up with a movie or friends, I'm a champ at that. I even give the kitties their space.  Don't forget, I'm a herding breed and I do have a touch of prey drive for those pesky critters (especially the squirrels). I get a bit too excited meeting the really small dogs, too, but I'm pleaser and we could work on that. On top of all that, I'm perfect in the house and will treat your guests like family.  Dutchies are known for their brains, beauty and athleticism and that's me all the way! Everyone who meets me says I’m really special — and I think they’re right! I am the total package and do make a truly wonderful best friend. There have been a lot of changes in my life and I am really looking forward to the place that will be my forever home.  Sensitive dogs thrive with predictability and although I am adaptable i would love to know that I am finally HOME!! If you’re ready for a loyal, fun-loving best friend that you can take anywhere, I might just be your girl. I'm hanging out with my foster peeps and dog buddy, Yogi, in Mountain View. Come say hi and check me out. Just FYI....my foster mom and dad say that I'm not slowing down and that I'm in my prime! You like this dog...now what? Please take 3-4 minutes and complete our application form at:  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/42179/generic.  Our adoption team will quickly contact you by phone or email (watch your spam please) to see if it's a match!.  If you are already approved to adopt, please contact your Adoption Counselor and they will help you set up a meeting.  You can also sponsor Rose by clicking here. Your name will appear on this page as Rose's Cookie's sponsor and your donation will help pay for food, treats, toys, supplements and medical expenses. Rose thanks you! BAGSR is always in need of fosters. There is an overwhelming number of dogs who need our help and the more fosters we have, the more dogs we can save. BAGSR covers expenses, including food. Fosters provide the love and a soft place to crash. https://petstablished.com/foster_form/42405/generic ##2378149##

Story
Guinness is a loyal and a loving girl, a joyful companion. I can not provide her the space and time she requires to be happy. She loves to run, agility training, play hide-and-seek/fetch and go on long walks. She is extremely energetic, and is very playful with dogs. At home, she likes to relax. She is potty trained and does not react to people or dogs on leash. She is always kind and patient with children. She can be vocal, shy or fearful at times, and she is not good with change. She needs a stable routine,a big garden to roam around all day and protect from any intruders. It takes her some time to bond, but once she gets used to you she is very sweet. She is usually good with dogs, but she can be reactive due her past trauma. (She was extremely submissive and got bitten multiple times, as a result, she can not tolerate barking or reactive dogs). If there is another dog in her new home, it would be ideal for her but it's best that her sibling is playful, non-reactive and as big as her.
