Xena is a playful, goofy puppy who loves to demonstrate her zoomie technique and then quickly return to you for a tasty treat. She is energetic but has a good off switch inside. She is a bit cautious and prefers to take her time to get comfortable with new things, so time and patience win the day. She will be at her best in a moderately active environment and would do well with other dogs that have a similar play style.

Say hello to Cruz -- a spirited young pup with energy to spare and a zest for life that's downright contagious! This playful adventurer loves to run, romp, and make every moment exciting. He's still mastering the art of walking nicely on leash, but with his sharp mind and eagerness to learn, he's ready to keep growing into the superstar companion he's meant to be. Cruz is still growing -- both in size and smarts -- and he'd love a home that will help him keep learning more and more to fill that big, brilliant head of his. He can be a little cautious when meeting new people, but give him a moment (and maybe a tasty snack or two -- he's a total foodie!) and you'll have a loyal buddy for life. With the right mix of activity, guidance, and love, Cruz will thrive and bring endless fun, laughter, and tail wags to his forever home.

Story
Brindle, bright-eyed, and full of heart, Diesel is the best mix of athlete and goofball. He loves people, makes soft eye contact, and is eager to work for treats or toys-classic Dutchie! His favorite toy is a blue & pink rugby ball. He has done well meeting friendly dogs with proper introductions and respectful play. He gets excited fast and will need someone to give him proper outlet and structure. We recommend a working-breed-savvy, active home that enjoys training and enrichment. Teens/older kids who can participate in his routine could work; cats are unknown. After activity, he settles nicely and leans in for affection-loyal, attentive, and ready to be someone's shadow. If you've been looking for a smart partner to adventure with and train, this boy is your guy. Quick highlights 1.5 years old, Dutch Shepherd (brindle male) • Social, affectionate, toy & food motivated (loves fetch) • Enjoys hikes/runs/training games • Dog-friendly with proper intro; cats unknown • Best with shepherd-savvy, active adopters Diesel is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. He's currently located in Vallejo CA

Story
Hi I'm Rosie. If you are wondering what gives me my cool coloring it's because I'm a "Dutch" Shepherd. Like the GSD and Malinois, I'm a herding breed and pretty similar in termperament. I'm a senior girl but don't let that scare you. I'm ready to go whenever you are and I'm a wonderful balance of energy. I like walks, riding in the car, saying hi to the horses - you know - just being with my people. I'm a healthy, active girl. I don't need marathons but I do need to keep my figure.  On top of all that wonderful dog stuff, I am vibrant, sweet, and super affiliative. Wherever your'e headed, I’m happy to come along. If it's snuggling up with a movie or friends, I'm a champ at that. I even give the kitties their space.  Don't forget, I'm a herding breed and I do have a touch of prey drive for those pesky critters (especially the squirrels). I get a bit too excited meeting the really small dogs, too, but I'm pleaser and we could work on that. On top of all that, I'm perfect in the house and will treat your guests like family.  Dutchies are known for their brains, beauty and athleticism and that's me all the way! Everyone who meets me says I’m really special — and I think they’re right! I am the total package and do make a truly wonderful best friend. There have been a lot of changes in my life and I am really looking forward to the place that will be my forever home.  Sensitive dogs thrive with predictability and although I am adaptable i would love to know that I am finally HOME!! If you’re ready for a loyal, fun-loving best friend that you can take anywhere, I might just be your girl. I'm hanging out with my foster peeps and dog buddy, Yogi, in Mountain View. Come say hi and check me out.  You like this dog...now what? Please take 3-4 minutes and complete our application form at:  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/42179/generic.  Our adoption team will quickly contact you by phone or email (watch your spam please) to see if it's a match!.  If you are already approved to adopt, please contact your Adoption Counselor and they will help you set up a meeting.  You can also sponsor Rose by clicking here. He's had a tough start in life and is still learning to trust, but his progress has been amazing. While he's very shy with touch and startles easily, Boris shows affection in his own gentle way-by resting near you, giving soft kisses, and seeking quiet companionship. He's food-motivated, crate-trained, potty-trained, and knows basic commands like "sit" and "come." He loves soft blankets, chew toys, and playing with other dogs, especially with his foster brother Charlie. While he also lives with a foster brother cat, he may need some training and work to coexist with any resident felines. Though he has some physical challenges-likely due to genetics or past trauma-he's gaining strength and confidence every day.Boris needs a patient, loving home that will let him open up at his own pace. If you have a calm environment and a big heart, Boris could be the perfect fit. He may take time, but the love you'll earn from him is truly one of a kind.Boris is currently in foster.Boris's adoption fee is $275. INDY is bursting with energy and way too smart for shelter life-he's got dreams of adventure, play yards, and maybe even a mountain trail or two. He absolutely lights up when he's surrounded by volunteers, happily zooming around like he's hosting his own puppy party. He's got that classic Shepsky combo: the perimeter-watching seriousness of a shepherd, and the vocal, up-for-anything zest of a husky. INDY is whip-smart, sassy, and endlessly entertaining. He'd thrive with an active person or family who's ready to keep up with his brilliant mind and zoom-ready paws. Some of his signature moves? He does this ridiculously adorable thing where he places his food bowl just right, then hops his front paws up onto his bed to eat like royalty. And when it's playtime?
