Story
Riker is a high-energy, 60#, loving dog who thrives with companionship—whether it’s people or other dogs. He came into my life during a time of transition (towards the end of my marriage), and while I’m doing my best, our current apartment lifestyle just isn’t meeting his needs. He’s smart and eager to please, with a solid understanding of basic commands like *sit*, *down*, *wait*, and *quiet*. He absolutely loves sniffing games, and we’re even working on scent training—he’s learning to find cash! Riker can be a bit leash-reactive, but once he spends just a few minutes with another dog, he usually becomes fast friends. He’s shown interest in cats, though he can be a little too enthusiastic and might give chase, so supervision is key. My top priority is Riker’s happiness and well-being. I’ll always be his safety net—I'm willing to stay involved as a backup home and even help with medical costs if needed.

Meet Camero! This 9-week-old pup is full of puppy love. Momma looks like a German Shepherd, and based on the puppy appearances, daddy might have been a Doberman. With patience and positive reinforcement training, Camero will grow into a loyal sidekick, always ready to go for an adventure, then cuddle up at the end of the day. All puppies are a lot of work, but they will pay you back with a lifetime of love. Through our Academy of Dog's School of Pawsitively Puppy we offer a small group Drop-off Puppy Social to help prevent separation issues while safely meeting other pups and new humans. We also offer a variety of Kinderpuppy classes that focus on the specific needs of puppies and their new parents. Ask us about a special class discount only offered at the time of adoption!
