Story
Hi I'm Rosie. If you are wondering what gives me my cool coloring it's because I'm a "Dutch" Shepherd. Like the GSD and Malinois, I'm a herding breed and pretty similar in termperament. I'm a senior girl but don't let that scare you. I'm ready to go whenever you are and I'm a wonderful balance of energy. I like walks, riding in the car, saying hi to the horses - you know - just being with my people. I'm a healthy, active girl. I don't need marathons but I do need to keep my figure.  On top of all that wonderful dog stuff, I am vibrant, sweet, and super affiliative. Wherever your'e headed, I’m happy to come along. If it's snuggling up with a movie or friends, I'm a champ at that. I even give the kitties their space.  Don't forget, I'm a herding breed and I do have a touch of prey drive for those pesky critters (especially the squirrels). I get a bit too excited meeting the really small dogs, too, but I'm pleaser and we could work on that. On top of all that, I'm perfect in the house and will treat your guests like family.  Dutchies are known for their brains, beauty and athleticism and that's me all the way! Everyone who meets me says I’m really special — and I think they’re right! I am the total package and do make a truly wonderful best friend. There have been a lot of changes in my life and I am really looking forward to the place that will be my forever home.  Sensitive dogs thrive with predictability and although I am adaptable i would love to know that I am finally HOME!! If you’re ready for a loyal, fun-loving best friend that you can take anywhere, I might just be your girl. I'm hanging out with my foster peeps and dog buddy, Yogi, in Mountain View. Come say hi and check me out.  You like this dog...now what? Please take 3-4 minutes and complete our application form at:  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/42179/generic.  Our adoption team will quickly contact you by phone or email (watch your spam please) to see if it's a match!.  If you are already approved to adopt, please contact your Adoption Counselor and they will help you set up a meeting.  You can also sponsor Rose by clicking here. Your name will appear on this page as Rose's Cookie's sponsor and your donation will help pay for food, treats, toys, supplements and medical expenses. Rose thanks you! BAGSR is always in need of fosters. There is an overwhelming number of dogs who need our help and the more fosters we have, the more dogs we can save. BAGSR covers expenses, including food. Fosters provide the love and a soft place to crash. https://petstablished.com/foster_form/42405/generic ##2378149##

Xena is a playful, goofy puppy who loves to demonstrate her zoomie technique and then quickly return to you for a tasty treat. She is energetic but has a good off switch inside. She is a bit cautious and prefers to take her time to get comfortable with new things, so time and patience win the day. She will be at her best in a moderately active environment and would do well with other dogs that have a similar play style.

Story
Say hello to Cruz -- a spirited young pup with energy to spare and a zest for life that's downright contagious! This playful adventurer loves to run, romp, and make every moment exciting. He's still mastering the art of walking nicely on leash, but with his sharp mind and eagerness to learn, he's ready to keep growing into the superstar companion he's meant to be. Cruz is still growing -- both in size and smarts -- and he'd love a home that will help him keep learning more and more to fill that big, brilliant head of his. He can be a little cautious when meeting new people, but give him a moment (and maybe a tasty snack or two -- he's a total foodie!) and you'll have a loyal buddy for life. With the right mix of activity, guidance, and love, Cruz will thrive and bring endless fun, laughter, and tail wags to his forever home.

Story
Hey guys, my name is Chomper, I have a unique name because I have a unique mouth. As you can see, I need a little bit of special love and attention when I first got rescued. But I got everything that I needed and now I am moving onto bigger and better things! The biggest news I have is I joined the training program and I am learning to be an awesome dog. I get to show off my skills all the time, and I learn faster than my trainer can teach me, in fact, I learned so fast that it takes three trainers to work with me because they can’t keep up with how smart I am. I really do want to find a forever family and I’m hoping that maybe my unique personality and unique look about me will capture somebody’s attention. Hopefully sooner than later, because Man the older I get the more and more that couch looks really comfy just to snooze on. so keep me in the back of your mind and maybe one day you’ll help me find my family or maybe my family will be you.

Story
Romulus — The Athletic Adventurer with a Heart of Gold! Romulus and his brother Remus were abandoned together in Richmond, CA. Now thriving in Rodeo, CA, Romulus is healthy, happy, and ready for his next adventure — with a forever family of his own. At about 1 year old and 58 lbs, Romulus is sleek, strong, and striking. He’s a Belgian Malinois mix, with a solid black coat that shines in the sun, soft brown socks, a white chest, and upright ears that give him a confident, alert look. Romulus is incredibly athletic and intelligent — the kind of dog who loves having a job or activity. He’d be an amazing partner for a trail runner, hiker, or mountain biker who wants a loyal, energetic sidekick. He’s crate trained, housebroken, and friendly with other dogs (still a puppy his play style can be but friendly). He’s treat-motivated and eager to learn. When it’s time to relax, Romulus enjoys rock and roll music (he’ll even tolerate a little country) and loves good food — chicken, duck, and salmon are his favorites. Romulus is ready to find a home that matches his energy, intelligence, and loyalty — a forever friend who’s up for adventure and love in equal measure. Romulus would benefit from having a another dog in the household who he can play with!
