Story
Jesse was adopted from us as a puppy.  He ended up being part of a hoarder case. You can look up April's case by googling chandler hoarding case.  A tireless team of rescuers found all the rescues that she had gotten dogs from.  Our Jesse was one of her original 13 so she was able to appeal it.  Poor Jesse stayed in the shelter for another 90 days until her appeal was denied.  My rescue partner drove up and got him.  He is the sweetest three legged dog you will ever meet.  He lives for car rides.  He gets very excited for In N Out none salted hamburger patties. He is now 7 years old.February 21, 2024, 12:07 pm

Story
Noelle was dropped off with her boyfriend on a dirt road in the middle of winter pregnant.  We went out and picked them both up.  A week later she gave birth to 13 beautiful puppies. She was the best mom to those puppies. It is her turn to have a fabulous home.  She is my foster and I could not ask for a more perfect dog.   She gets along with everyone.  She plays with the puppies.  She only talks when she runs out of water, needs to go out to pee or it is dinner time.  If she makes noise you know that she needs something. She is really the perfect family dog.  She is great with kids. We got the dna back on her puppies and her dna showed as German Shepherd and Dutch Shepherd. If you would like to give this amazingly sweet dog a home then please email us for an application or further questions at roverrangerrescue@gmail.comFebruary 21, 2024, 12:07 pm

Ranger IS AVAILALBE (updated 02-21-2024).To meet any of our dogs you must first complete our online adoption application on our website. For more information and the adoption application for Ranger , please visit our website belowhttp://www.coastalgsr.org/dog_profile.php?ID=22735&name=Ranger Ranger, quite the dynamo, came to Coastal German Shepherd Rescue after Animal Control found him with an open neck wound. A piece of string had been tied around his neck. As Ranger grew, the string cut into his neck, opening the wound and forcing the skin to grow around the string. After surgery to remove the string, Ranger was on the road to recovery. He doesnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t seem to know he had a rough puppyhood. He has a joy for life thatâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s unmatched. Heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s believed to be a Dutch shepherd because of his high energy and drive to work. He would do best in a home with people who understand a large, working breed dog and can give him outlets for his energy. Ranger strives on structure, rules and boundaries, so his new owner(s) will need to be consistent with him!The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.February 21, 2024, 6:52 am

Story
6 years old. @75 lbs. Cleopatra sits on command, can be a little shy to start, but after a few minutes [or seconds], she's in close for some love and petting.  She loves to run and play with toys, and she gets along with some dogs. Does very well in the car. She will come in close for love, or walk or run beside you.  Her potential is enormous, and she's very intelligent and picks up on your needs very quickly. She takes treats very gentle. Walks very well on the leash. Our dog trainer took Cleopatra to the dog park and on a hike and she loved it, she was so happy to smell everything and once it was time to go she wanted to go in the car and obediently came out of car upon arrival home.  GOOD GIRL! WATCH HER SUPER VIDEO*Note that young dogs and pure breeds are at the highest end of our prices.* Please find our applications and valuable information under  "Adopt a dog"* on our website:  *www.beaglesandbuddies.com* and email your application to beaglesandbuddies@gmail.com. Let us know your preference of appointment day/time and which dogs you are interested in and we will do our best to accommodate and email you the closest appointment available. Please allow us up to a week to get back to you. Most appointments will be Friday-Sunday, 10 am - 2 pm, for an hour. *Note bring any other dog/s and the entire family to your meet and greet at B&B.* A complimentary training manual is included with each adoption, authored by terristeuben.com. Check out her website - she is fabulous! B&B is glad to be open during the pandemic. We know the value and comfort of a loving pet companion and are doing our best to help the dogs and folks who need them. We update our website daily and are always rescuing, vetting, rehabilitating, socializing. &#226&#128&#139 Are you my furrever family? For further info on the adoption process, please visit our home page and check out the "Adopt a Dog" section, which has thorough instructions.  All our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and  fully vaccinated before adoption; they have been wormed, bathed, socialized, walked daily and much loved; each adoptee leaves with a leash, collar, and all medical records.   Our prices are higher than the shelters' because we nurse the dogs through their illnesses and get them needed surgeries and dentals. We also spend time socializing. Furthermore, unlike shelters, rescues do not get financial aid from the government and must rely on donations, grants, and adoption fees. Our fees for adults start at $150 and usually go up to $750. Young adults that are high in demand may be a little over $750.00. For puppies and purebreds, we charge up to $1000. The lower end is for dogs who have been here a while. The good news is that, because rescues fall under the "charity" category, the fees for our dogs are officially donations and are therefore tax deductible. You can think of it as donating to a worthy cause and getting a dog in return!  Sponsor Me Beagles & Buddies must find ways to raise money so we can continue saving dogs. Your tax-deductible donation keeps our rescue kennel operating!  Hours Friday:  10 am to 3 pm Saturday:  10 am to 3 pm Sunday: 10 am to 3 pm Monday: CLOSED Tuesday: CLOSED Wednesday: CLOSED Thursday: CLOSED &#226&#128&#139 Weekday appointments may be available.  We are a small staff and do our best to accommodate your needs. **Note that during COVID, we are not holding open houses on any day. Story
Reddy is a very handsome boy with a brindle coat. Born @Oct 2019. He is a 45 pound Dutch Shepherd mix who is playful and energetic. He loves to run, walk on a leash, play with toys, and go in kiddie pools. He takes treats gently. He came from a home where he and a very senior dog were not a good fit and the family chose to keep their old guy.  However, Reddy was 1 year old then, and with training he will smoothly transition to pretty much any situation.    *Note that young dogs and pure breeds are at the highest end of our prices.* Please find our applications and valuable information under  "Adopt a dog"* on our website:  *www.beaglesandbuddies.com* and email your application to beaglesandbuddies@gmail.com. Let us know your preference of appointment day/time and which dogs you are interested in and we will do our best to accommodate and email you the closest appointment available.
