Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Approximately 4-5 year old Esme is part of a pack of dogs that lived in the desert for several years after their owner died. A good samaritan visited the pack several times a week to make sure they had food, water, and shelter. Esme was rescued with a few others in September 2020 but spent almost a year in boarding since there were no open fosters. Finally, in the summer of 2021 Esme was able to get into a foster home.Over the last few months, Esme has been learning what it's like to truly be a dog. She loves napping and chewing a good bone. Esme hasn't been around kids before, but she is very relaxed and hasn't ever shown any type of aggression. She is very shy with humans and apprehensive of new people. On the other hand, she completely comes out of her shell with other dogs. She loves hopping around and playing with the other pups in her foster home. She is currently living in a foster home with other dogs of all sizes and ages, as well as cats. She hasn't had a problem with any of the other pets.Esme will definitely need a special home, with a family that will be patient with her while she continues to grow and learns how to trust humans. She will likely never be super social with humans, so a fairly mellow home with at least 1 other dog is ideal. Esme does enjoy walks and walks nicely on a leash. She is crate trained, but not house trained. If you can be that patient and loving home for this special girl, please apply to adopt Esme today.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 30, 2024, 12:21 am

Story
Aldean was rescues from AVAS high kill shelter, literally as they had needle in hand to euthanize him! We arrived in the nick of time to save his life. We personally adopted him on behalf of an adopter. The adopter then backed out and now Aldean needs a forever home. Aldean is a light brindle Dutch shepherd, he is up to date on all shots, microchipped, and neutered. Aldean is a puppy however the shelter did not know his exact age their estimate was between 5-6 months old. Aldean is a typical puppy with lots of energy, super affectionate and playful. Aldean is kennel/crate trained motivated with lots of treats. Aldean has a kennel mate, who was also adopted at the same time, she mother’s him. Aldean gets along great with all other dogs and loves to rough house with the 80 pound huskies. I have a 3 year old, Aldean loves him but like all puppy sometimes gets to playfully rough. Aldean will do well with a high energy family who likes adventures, walks, or hikes etc…

Story
Ms April was abandoned, picked up by animal control, and was about to be killed at the shelter. An amazing networker found her an adopter, she was rescued only to be abandoned again! This poor girl has since just lost her spirit. She’s broken and needs an immediate home. Someone who has time to love her and give her time to decompress from the trauma she’s been through. Preferably someone with experience to allow April the time she needs to decompression in her time. April is scared, timid, but warms up quickly. She warms up to women faster than men. She had a 3rd failed adoption that only traumatized her more. You have to be serious and not let this girl down yet again! April is a young female, spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchip. April is dependent on a crate/kennel, that is her safe spot.

Story
My name is Jessie. I was adopted as a puppy. The lady who adopted me was normal then. I was one of the first 13. She then started collecting dogs with physical issues. I only have 3 legs. I don't know I only have 3 legs but I do. Anyway, she became a hoarder. Another group of rescue ladies finally got animal control to go to the house. They found dead dogs and dogs living in horrible conditions. We were all taken. The rescuers found all the rescues that had adopted these dogs and returned them. I was there for another 90 days. I was one of her original 13 so she was able to appeal me. The judge denied her appeal and back to this rescue I came. You can look up the case if you google chandler 55 dog abuse case. My foster mom adores me. She knows I deserve a home with less dogs. I live to go in the car. I would love to just drive all day. I also love non salted In N Out patties. I love all my dog friends. I like to go out and run with them. If they get too annoying I just give them a quick growl. I am all about kissing my foster mom. My foster mom cannot believe I have not been adopted yet. She says I am the perfect traveling dog.

These pups are in Redlands, California too!
