Blitzen is a 2-year-old, 60-pound curious and affectionate boy looking for his furever home! Blitzen was hit by a car in November 2022, resulting in a broken right leg. He’s healed up well according to the vets, but still walks with a limp and would do best with short walks and hikes. Thankfully, his leg doesn’t seem to slow him down when it comes to playing with other dogs, one of his favorite pastimes! Blitzen currently lives in foster with another dog and is FULL of love and happy puppy energy. He is eager to please and responds well to structure and consistency from his humans. He’s already crate and potty trained and is working on his leash skills. Blitzen has been through a lot and is ready for a permanent loving home. Midnight is crate trained, good with large dogs and kids. He’s a very playful boy who would thrive in a home with an outdoorsy person. Midnight loves camping and hiking at national parks. At night, he loves to curl up on the couch and watch a superhero movie or Game of Thrones. This guy is a trooper, let us tell you! He has endured 2 different shelter systems in the past couple months. Thankfully, he is one of the lucky ones that was able to escape euthanasia.

Scout, an 11 month old male Dutch Shepard, found his way into the hearts of The Lovejoy Foundation after being abandoned at the front gate. Despite a rocky start, Scout is now the picture of great health and exudes love for people. With a protective instinct and a penchant for forming bonds with family members of all sizes, Scout is not just a dog; he's a special companion waiting to make a lasting impact in a loving home. We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same dog or puppy at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications. Please visit our social media platforms for the specifics for each weekend as it changes from week to week. The Lovejoy Foundation, Inc. does not adopt beyond a 30 mile radius from our headquarters in Inglewood. Meet Purple💜 She was rescued together with Green and came to Adogs Center. * Energy Level (1~10): Level 2 * she can be shy to a person she meets first time but once she warms up, Purple slowly opens up.🥰 *Purple can unexpectedly come next to a person and quietly sits or lies down, so we are training her to get used to human touch with desensitization. *Not particularly interested in other doggy friends. Purple prefers lying down in a corner who likes to rest by sniffing the surrounding. *Purple is a pup who likes to stay by herself. She is an introverted pup who likes to spend time alone and lies down close to other dogs.😊 *Is good at jumping so needs to install a high safety door in front of the door! *Needs training with her corophagia. *Tends to eat too fast so using the lick mat to have Purple to eat slowly can help. *Enjoys walking outside by sniffing around in a slow manner.🙂 *Can be reactive to noises, so she can get scared of cars and buses with loud noises. Can get startled and tries to run away, so she needs to be closely monitored on her walk! *Favorites: Treats, kibbles

Meet Zeus💜 When an Adogs staff visited Korean city Shelter, Zeus was hiding behind another dog with wagging his tail. He's calm and quiet! He waits calmly in his crate, and he doesn't bark. He's not afraid of people's touch, but he's still very awkward with them! He's a gentle boy and never nips! 🥰 He gets along well with other dogs at the Adogs Center, but he's not very interested in them.🤣 *Health record: He is missing his left ear congenitally, but it doesn’t affect his hearing at all! * Finished heartworm treatment. (Retest is needed)
