This very nice boy is calm, gentle, and ready to spend his golden years surrounded by love and comfort. At this stage in life, Ringo isn’t looking for adventure — he’s looking for cozy naps, peaceful walks, and kind people to share his days with. Because he’s a senior, Ringo qualifies for our Silver Paws VIP Program, which helps make adopting older pets even easier. He’s the kind of dog who will be forever grateful for a soft bed, a caring hand, and a family who sees the treasure he truly is. Story
Meet Dixie – a just turned 5 year-old German Shepherd mix with a heart of gold. After my dad died, we decided to take her in. She’s healthy and even had a year of professional dog training. Dixie is wonderful with our male dog but our female will not accept Dixie into our family and Dixie doesn't like her either. We have tried everything to make it work. Dixie loves going on walks, chasing lizards, car rides, camping, going to the park & snuggling. She truly is an amazing, sensitive and smart dog who needs a loving home, preferably, without other dominant dogs. She's already been through so much. PLEASE—she deserves a safe home and not the shelter. She would make a very loyal companion and she is still very trainable. She has so much love to give. There has to be someone out there willing to give her a chance?
