I’m a 2-year-old Dutch Shepherd mix smart, loving girl with a big heart and an instinct to protect the people I care about. I may be a little sensitive at times, but that just means I feel things deeply—and I bond *hard* with my humans 🥺
I love attention, cuddling up next to you, and spending time outside exploring. I’ve got a strong nose and amazing hearing—I notice everything! Whether it’s a squirrel in the yard or a storm rolling in before the first thunder, I’m always on alert 🌩️🐿️
I have a playful side and enjoy toys, but I also love just relaxing beside my person and being part of your day. I’m eager to please and very teachable—I just need someone patient who will guide me gently and help me learn without overwhelming me 💛
I’m crate trained, potty trained, and well-behaved in the home. I may howl a bit if you leave during the day (I just miss you!), but I settle down with time. I can be anxious during storms, so I’d do best with someone who can comfort me and help me feel safe.
Because I have a strong prey drive, I would not be a good fit for homes with cats or small animals. I’d likely do best as the only dog or with a very calm companion, as I can be a bit protective and unsure in high-energy dog situations.
My ideal home would have a securely fenced yard (I can jump and I *will* follow my nose if I catch a scent!), and a family—especially with older kids—who can give me structure, love, and a sense of security 🏡
A little note from my foster: Mama Grease is incredibly sweet and loyal. She may still be settling in, but it’s clear she forms deep bonds and wants to protect and love her people. With patience and understanding, she’s going to be an amazing companion 💛🐾✨
Adoption FEE: $500, which includes her spay, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals.

By filling out the MFP Adoption Application you agree and understand that ADOPTION IS NOT GUARANTEED. We are not first come, first served and submitting an application does NOT guarantee adoption. All Dogs / Puppies / Cats / Kittens are up to date on age appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter, flea/heart worm prevention, and are microchipped prior to adoption. If you are meeting a puppy or kitten that is not ready for adoption there may be a waiting period until they are fully ready to go home.
Adoption fee - Along with the individual animals vetting and daily care costs, the adoption fee helps Mercy Full Project cover additional vet bills, maintain their facility, and cover the cost of their operations in order to rescue more animals in need.
