You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Olivia!Olivia came to PRBJ from an overcrowded out of state rescue.  She was brought in by the Pilots for Paws which bring dogs from rural places to larger cities to help them find a home.  Unfortunately, Olivia had been waiting at this rescue since 2024 when she came in with her litter of pups.  He pups were adopted, while Olivia sat and waited.  She loves people and we are working with her on reactivity to other dogs.  It seems when she is out and about that she does well, but when in the kennels, she is not fond of any dog. Hello, I'm Cabbage Patch! I originally came to Marion County Animal Services along with my 6 puppies as an owner surrender. Unfortunately, after my puppies were old enough to get adopted, I developed a pretty severe case of mastitis, pneumonia, and esophageal strictures. Through all of that I never gave up! Now, I'm doing so much better and am ready to finally be adopted myself. I love people and am affectionate, sweet, and goofy. One of my doctors fostered me throughout my health journey and learned a lot about me. I love chasing balls, going on walks, and most of all getting snuggles.

This is sunny! He is a Dutch shepherd I adopted from the shelter a few years ago, I adopted him with the intent that if he wasn’t the right fit for my home I would find a better home. He did not do well in the shelter and would pace in circles! He does well with some dogs but doesn’t get along with any intact males! Which is one of the reasons I’m rehoming him and he also needs to be with someone was has the time as he is a lot of dog! I have three working dogs and he is the most high strung and stubborn one. He still runs circle I don’t think that will ever change. He was definitely a dog that shouldn’t been in the shelter. He should not be in a home with kids or cats. Older kids or kids who know dogs boundaries would be okay! He doesn’t do well with cats but with someone who has experience with these type of dogs would also be fine! I have cats myself he has chased them and barks at them in his crate. He is also crate trained and he does have some allergies!

5yr old Trigger is looking for his new home! Sweet and well mannered boy who loves to run and play! Not house trained and has some accidents in crate but is good in it otherwise and walks good on/off leash. Wonderful recall and follows commands well. Lives on working farm with horses, cows and chickens so is used to the fast pace but still has a prey drive for the birds. Same gender aggressive and a little more shy than his siblings he'll need someone to take the time to socialize him. Single pet household is preferred at first.

5yr old Daisy is looking for a new home! No fault to her own just do not have the time she requires. Very energetic and playful! Wonderful manners in her crate and on/off leash but is not house trained. This ball of energy needs lots of exercise and will need to be socialized with new people and animals. She does live on a working farm around horses, cows, and chickens so she is used to a busy environment. Wonderful recall and follows commands well. Currently same gender aggressive and has a very high prey drive so she would do best in a single pet home for now. Easy to groom and handle, she is a lovebug who just needs some extra time spent with her. Picture is her(smaller) and her brother Bear who is also available (also trigger and blue) She could be adopted along side any brother
