Walter is not your average shelter dog—he’s a bold, opinionated guy with a lot to say and a whole lot of heart for the right person. He can be bossy and loud, especially when he’s excited or has something important to announce. One thing is non-negotiable: Walter LOVES toys. Loves them. Collects them. Buries them all over the yard like priceless treasure. He can get a little obsessive about them, so an adopter who understands boundaries and structure will be key. Walter does have stranger danger and needs time and patience to build trust. He isn’t the kind of dog who falls in love at first sight—but once he forms a relationship, his softer, more affectionate side starts to shine. The bond you earn with Walter is a special one. Because Walter does best with slow, thoughtful introductions, he is available by appointment only. Please call the shelter to check availability and set up a meet-and-greet.

Antoinnette came to us from another rescue in Georgia. She was brought here by plane and we have enjoyed every second of watching her grow to be the little lady that she is. It is now time for her to find her if you are EVER Home and we are anxiously waiting to see who the perfect fit will be for her. Her breed is very smart so she will need somebody that’s willing to train her and help her to grow to be everything a smart dog like her can be. Although she is absolutely stunning. Please make sure to look up the breed Dutch Shepherd before inquiring, we don’t see these too often and rescue, so we are super excited to have them here, but we are more excited to watch them go to the FUVER homes. It must be the right homes she will be fine with a single person or a large family. she just needs attention and guidance Adoption donation is $475. UPDATE ON BELLA 01/19/2025. We took Bella to our home when my uncle became ill and then passed away. When i previously posted on bella we were concerned that Bella was dog aggressive towards our Golden Doodle. Since then We Bella to a boot camp to have a trainer work with her and her dog aggression. She will be coming home this week and will be available to rehome. I have attached some pictures and video of her at the dog parks and how he has helped her through her dog aggression. Bella is 8 years old and very loving and is housed trained and crate trained. She is a wonderful dog who loves attention.

Jiggles is a 3-year-old mixed with German Shepherd, English Bulldog and Boxer. She is young but has the personality of an older dog who just wants to nap and sunbathe. She is a couch potato but will play for small periods of time and is very good on the leash. She doesn't pull and will even walk beside you without a leash. She is not reactive to other dogs in public and does great on car rides. She would be best as an only dog with no children under 5 because she likes to have all of the attention. She is also not fond of infants. She has lived with a child 6+ for most of her life with no issue. Her tendency to hoard attention likely stems from spending her first year of life in a shelter where they kept her in a kennel and were not able to give her any human attention. She is completely house trained (no accidents) and has no chewing issues. She is well behaved as long as she gets cuddles every day.
