Story
We show our dogs by appointment only upon receipt of our online application which can be found at kcpaws.org.  If you are reading this, we are still accepting applications.  link to application :  https://form.jotform.com/230296113596155 Daya was found curled up on a porch of an abandoned house in the freezing cold in February.  Her owners never came for her.  She is incredibly sweet and very friendly and is a beautiful blue reverse brindle color that pictures just don't do justice to. Daya loves to go for walks and enjoys spending time with volunteers. She also loves to go for car rides and always appreciates a good Pupachino.  Daya would love a home with a couch to cuddle on , and a yard to play fetch in with her human. She is an active dog who loves to explore and would even make an excellent jogging buddy. She can be a little nervous when she first meets new people but once she has a few minutes to settle in, she is extremely affectionate and sweet. The KC PAWS staff says that Daya is so deserving of a loving home. She is goofy and just wants to soak up all the attention she can all of the time. She is a volunteer favorite for walks because she is very active and is not much of a puller on her leash.  If you think Daya might be the right fit for you, your next step would be to complete our online application which can be found at kcpaws.org  April 28, 2024, 5:22 pm

Story
Meet Tay Tay!! This cutie came to us from a rescue in Oklahoma. She is so very friendly with dogs, cats and kids. She is quite the cuddler and loves to give kisses. She loves to play and would love to find an active family with dogs to play with! She loves her foster home pups and her foster feels she is happiest with another dog in her home. Tay Tay is full of love, energy and enthusiasm! She loves everybody she meets and has been good with a variety of dogs. She is curious about cats but is friendly towards them. She is kennel trained and keeps it clean. She loves the car. She's really smart and has learned sit, lay down, shake and is learning roll over. She is ready for a furever home. She would do best in a home with another energetic dog and/or an active family. This sweet girl is the whole package!

These pups are in Lees Summit, Missouri too!

Story
Niko is a special guy, he's eager to learn, goofy boy who loves squeaky toys and snuggling. He's huge at 83 pounds he's a tall strong dog, with great agility. We adopted him as a companion for our female dog in January from kcpet project. They play non stop, however he is reactive to other dogs on leash. He also has bitten a dog a dog daycare in February for which he was removed. I would recommend no other dogs or cats at home with this boy. He resource guards toys and places like beds or sofas for that reason he isn't allowed on furniture. He also currently lives with 2 teenagers who are scared of him due to his resource guarding behaviors, reacting to my children but not me or my husband. A home without children would be ideal. He came to me untrained and with no history. In 3 months he has learned sit, stay, down, shake, up, place, stand, come, leave it, wait, and off. He likes baths, bike rides with bike harness, long walks, and lots of pets! p>
