Meet Moira! A dog with a motherly personality and a smart, athletic side. She enjoys spending time with her people, learning new things, and a good game of fetch. When the toys come out, she’s all business! Moira is proof that old dogs can absolutely learn new tricks. She would love a home that gives her plenty of enrichment, adventures, training, and lots of snuggles. She has done wonderfully with her current canine housemates and would likely enjoy having another dog in her home. She would do best without cats, as they tend to be a little too distracting for her. Moira is still working through some anxiety from her life before rescue, particularly with loud noises and storms. She’ll need a patient person who can help her continue building confidence. Her ideal home will provide clear boundaries, daily enrichment, and plenty of one-on-one time. In return, Moira will happily be your adventure buddy, training partner, and nightly cuddle companion. All Heart of America Humane Society dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations. Adoption fee is $250. Our boy doesn’t have the pipes of this legend, but he certainly has the presence. 👨‍🎤 Vince is full of charisma and personality just like his namesake. He is a 4-month-old German Shepherd mix weighing 25 pounds and will rock on to around 55 pounds once fully grown. He’s an active dude and loves to jam out with his doggie friends, little people, cats, and even horses. Now that’s a well-versed little man. Wanna go swimming or take a weekend trip to the lake? He is your boy! Vince loves the water and even enjoys playing with his towel once he gets out and dries off. 💦😎 This smart boy is so excited to learn all kinds of new things, and has already locked down crate training. Vince needs some practice with his house-training skills and basic commands. He loves to please his audience, so we are sure he will have them memorized in no time. Walking on a leash is new, but wandering around scrolling through the neighborhood sounds like a rockin’ good time to him. 🚶🏻 🚶‍♀️ Vince is a young pup and will thrive with plenty of activity to wear this little rock star out, so an active home will be best for him.
