Story
Rhyot is a 3 year old Dutch Shepherd. He is male and neutered. I rescued him from my sister-in-law so he would not get euthanized but I have a baby, I’m pregnant, and I have insufficient living space for him. He has anxiety and does have a prescription for Trazodone. He does have a bite history, he had an incident with a neighbor - the neighbor was hitting him and he retaliated. He has had lots of formal training, he is house broken and kennel trained. He is wary of strangers (adults and kids) and strange dogs but he’s fine with people and dogs he knows or has met before. He can handle laying around in his kennel or on the couch all day but he’s very playful and loves to be outside. His ideal home would have a yard and calm owners with lots of patience. He has been abused and abandoned in the past which I believe is where his anxiety stems. Overall, he is a sweet dog that just needs shown love and trust and that it’s okay to reciprocate it.

Story
Sadly I am looking to rehome my 2.5yr old Dutch Shepard mix. Really need to find a home by early March! He is neutered and up to date with vaccines. He ideally needs someone who can work with him and provide consistency as well as an outlet for his energy. He is reactive to people but not aggressive and has made significant improvements in the past month and would continue to improve with more work. He does do well with other dogs! I have a trainer that is dedicated to working with him and she is willing to continue working with him even with a new owner. I have supplies that I would be willing to send with him as well. He is very cuddly, super affectionate, and very trainable! Overall is a very good dog!
