Raven is my name and kind of like a raven, I am a 'loner'... except for the puppies i had when I arrived at the rescue... I was saved by a trapper on the streets, they weren't even there to save ME that day, but they did!!! I am obviously a beautiful girl, big and solid as well as black and brindly. I am a loving girl, in my own way... i lived on the streets for who knows how long and I honestly am not a cuddly girl or even a sit by your feet dog, YET... I have all kinds of love to give, you can see in my eyes that I have always dreamed of someone with the patience to love me for who I am and who I can be!! I am great on a leash and do love walking around and exploring. I am good with other dogs and likely would do best with another dog who is calm and confident with his/her family. I am so so ready for you, I have the shepherd double coat so I will shed in your house, must have a great vacuum cleaner and tolerance of hair :) Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

They came from a animal hoarding property, their sister Chili was more than ready for a home alone, these two would prefer a home with another confident, sweet dog. Millie loves playing with many of our dogs here, she has learned so much and is becoming a brave girl, it does take her time to warm up to people. She loves other dogs, from Pitbulls to huskies to German Shepard's to little terriers, smaller to larger, he loves them all. She would flourish in a home with another dog who is brave, confident and gentle in nature. From her adopter she needs patience, time for her to acclimate, a fenced backyard, no young kids or loud adults, her hoarding home was very loud with over 15 dogs and a lot of people. She just needs a chance a gentle human and dog buddy, like she has here with us. My adoption fee is $250

Hello! This is Lycan a 6-year-old, purebred German Shepherd. He is house-trained, crate-trained, and walks well on a leash without pulling. He is very gentle when taking treats from your hand. Lycan has a moderate energy level and usually needs about three days to warm up to new people, but once he trusts you, his incredibly friendly and loyal. He has experience being around cats, female dogs, and small children he is familiar with. Lycan is truly a wonderful dog, but unfortunately my work schedule has increased, and I no longer able to give him the life and attention he deserves.

It is with a broken heart that I must find a new home for my 13-year-old German Shepherd, Lucy. Due to my own declining health and limited income, I can no longer provide her with the care she needs and deserves. Lucy takes daily medication for pain and has two monthly injections, one for pain and one for allergies. Lucy has been my loyal, and loving companion. My late husband and I brought her home when she was 6 weeks old. She is a purebred German Shepherd, but we were never interested in breeding her, so we did not get her papers. We wanted her for companionship and protection. Lucy sleeps a lot and loves to be petted and gently played with. She has several health conditions that she has adapted to, and she is a real trooper. She has a hearing loss and she also has cataracts in both eyes. She gets around just fine. She has had skin allergies. Lucy needs a quiet, loving home (no young children preferred due to her age). She is a very sweet companion!
