Story
Hello! This is Lycan a 6-year-old, purebred German Shepherd. He is house-trained, crate-trained, and walks well on a leash without pulling. He is very gentle when taking treats from your hand. Lycan has a moderate energy level and usually needs about three days to warm up to new people, but once he trusts you, his incredibly friendly and loyal. He has experience being around cats, female dogs, and small children he is familiar with. Lycan is truly a wonderful dog, but unfortunately my work schedule has increased, and I no longer able to give him the life and attention he deserves.

Story
Ciao is love-bug, extremely sweet, beautiful, and a character. He loves to be next to his people or nearby, but he is not needy. He leans in and snuggles. His thick, gorgeous, rough but soft coat makes him a pleasure to pet. He has plenty of energy but is not a "spaz." He has nice energy. When I adopted him, the shelter told me he was 3. Seems about 5. He is selective with other dogs and/or needs proper introduction; despite being stuck in a crowded kennel for 71 days and no time in the yard, he had only good notes re people and his kennel mates. He's great inside dog. I adopted him minutes before euthanasia with his mother Bella. He appears to like other dogs' company, especially females and dogs his size. His first time at a dog park, shortly after adoption, he got scared when "the regulars" surrounded him and he bit another big dog. A few days later he bit a little dog on a leash when quickly approached. He has done great with calm teens and dogs. Caution recommended with children.

Story
PSIRUS My name is Psirus 😊 I am a 4 yr. old Shepard/Husky mix, about 50 lbs., potty trained and neutered. I had a tougher start to life, where I was homeless most my life. My owners were homeless, but they really did love me, but I always wanted my own home, yard to run in and other dogs to play with. I am a very happy and playful boy. I can be a bit slow and shy to warm up to new people and new spaces (due to my poor vision) but once I warm up I love to play keep away and jump around! Also, once I get to know you, I will gladly chat away with you! I am very friendly to new dogs and animals and I’m good at respecting their boundaries and listening when they tell me enough as well. If you’re looking for a great family dog, someone to hike with or just a perfect dog to take for walks and play in the park, I’m your boy!

Shy boy Shasta is ready to find his person even if it takes some time to warm up for him. He loves all dogs and puppies but cousious to approach straingers because he spent his previous months as a stray and got into a kill shelter just to be moved to a kill list as a shy dog. He feels happy next to a playful female dogs so having a sibling would make a perfect family.

Story
Hi, I’m Reeba! Think of me as a present that comes with a little extra packaging. I’m almost 2 years old and 68 lbs., and am a German Shepherd Mix...and when we first meet, I’m probably going to be thinking, “Hmm... I’m going to need a minute.” I’m a very shy girl at first, and I need time to decide that you’re someone I can trust. But once I unwrap myself from that nervous little shell, you’ll find a really sweet girl who loves being with her people. I just need someone who understands that friendship is a process, not a speed run. I’m happiest when life is calm and predictable. I enjoy peaceful walks where I can take in the world at my own pace, and I love having a cozy home where I can relax with my favorite people. I also do very well with other dogs! I especially appreciate calm, respectful dogs who don’t feel the need to turn every interaction into WrestleMania. A mellow canine companion would be right up my alley. And good news for the cat lovers: I have a positive history with cats! So I already know that feline roommates can be pretty cool. I’d do best with kids 15 and older who understand that shy dogs need time, patience, and space while they’re getting comfortable. Once I trust you, you’ll see a completely different side of me, and I promise the wait is worth it. I’m not going to be the girl who runs into your arms on day one. I’m the girl who slowly walks into your heart and eventually refuses to leave! My adoption fee is $295 and I'm spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Apply to meet me today!

Story
Hi, I’m Hansel. Yes, Hansel, like the famous guy who went into the woods with Gretel. But unlike my namesake, I promise I’m not planning to leave breadcrumbs everywhere. Mostly because I’m a German Shepherd, and I have much better navigation skills than that. I’m a 3 year old, 94 lb. handsome gentleman who absolutely loves my people. I can be a little reserved when I first meet someone, but give me a little time to decide you’re cool and suddenly we’re best friends. Once I’m comfortable, I’m all about being near my people, getting affection, and joining in on whatever adventure you have planned! I’m also a German Shepherd, which means I come with a built-in activity subscription. I enjoy getting out, exploring, walking, and doing things with my humans. I’d love a family who wants an active companion and will keep my brain and body busy. I do well with other dogs, especially the calm and collected types. Cats? We’re not sure yet, so for now, I’m looking for a cat-free home. I’d do best with kids 8 and older who understand that even a friendly guy like me sometimes needs a little personal space. Respect my boundaries, and I’ll be your loyal sidekick. Now, there is one tiny detail you should probably know about me. I can jump. And when I say jump, I mean I have successfully cleared fences around 4 feet tall. Apparently, I was not informed that fences were supposed to be a challenge rather than a suggestion. Because of my impressive athletic abilities, I’ll need a securely fenced yard with something higher than 4 feet. So, if you’re looking for a handsome, loyal, active German Shepherd who may take a little time to warm up but will absolutely adore you once he does, I might just be your guy! My adoption fee is $295 and I'm neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Apply to meet me today!
