NOTE: These dogs are Bonded Brothers and must be taken together at this point. They sleep in the same Kennel which comes with them. Also, they have food bowls and leashes. These dogs were originally strays with fleas, ticks, and skin issues. They are healthy now, one is recovering from another stray biting its ear, but he is still in good spirits. Meet Murphy! He’s an energetic, playful boy who can often be found with a toy in his mouth. He really enjoys playing with other dogs, so he’d do best in a home with another dog to be friends with. He’s fully house broken and sits on command. He’s great with other dogs, and does ok with cats. Murphy is about 2 years old and weighs 70 pounds.He’s a little shy at first, and he’s protective of his people, but he adjusts. He is a lover and walks very well on a leash. He enjoys being pet, but he doesn’t lick, jump on people or get on the bed. My name is Lil Man aka Deuce. Deuce for two since I'm getting a second chance at life after being in the shelter. My foster Dad says I'm living life to the fullest and trying really hard at forgetting my first life. I'm still shy around some people but my foster has been teaching me to be less fearful of strangers. I would love you to help me with slow introductions when I meet new people. People always say how beautiful my brindle coat is. I'm very smart and will sit and speak for my treats, I am learning to play ball and will jump in the air to get it! I'm still working on the bring it back all the time, every time. But I'm working on it! I get along well with other dogs and I'm a great watch dog. I like to make sure my people are safe and taken care of. I love being outside in the sun and playing with my dog foster siblings or other dogs. I love the yard and think being outside is swell. When I come inside I'm a very good boy and don't get on the couch or jump on people. I do like to give little licks and kisses to the people I feel safe with. I have a zest for life and like to go for walks and runs and to play in the river. I'm potty trained and stay out during the day in the sunshine. I always try to ensure the squirrels know I'm the bosss. At night I like to sleep inside with my pals. Whoever adopts me will have to be a little patient and continue working with me on my shyness at times. New things are scary and I need you to show me it's going to be ok. My perfect home would have a nice, fenced yard, and maybe a doggy door so I can go in and out on my own. I'll probably do better with another dog in the household, I really like friends. I would love someone to play fetch with me or take me to the river and swim. I don't mind baths at all either, but I sure don't like cats! I like to keep my food just for me and don't really like to share. I know basic commands and will sit for a treat, or two. I would love to meet you and your resident dog and make some new friends!
