Story
Leggs is a resilient 32 pound, 1 year old pup working hard to become part of the world around him. While he’s naturally timid because he was feral the first three months of his life, he’s been bravely approaching new challenges and turned into the most amazing dog at home. Leggs is very intelligent and sensitive. He’s a bit cuddler and loves wrapping himself up in a blanket and hunkering down with his soft toys. He’s fantastic on a leash and incredibly gentle with myself, my children, and other dogs (including my super senior). He is crate trained, goes to the door when he needs to go potty, leash trained, and doing well on basic obedience and threshold training. He’s done well on trips to the park, long-leash walking on nature trails, and trips to pet-friendly stores such as Petco. His perfect home would be one that understands his initial need to decompress. After that, you can expect the most loyal and intuitive companion. He is not a fan of cats so no kitties please. Leggs is being fostered in Texas but can be transported out of state. You can apply directly for Leggs by clicking the Apply for Adoption button on the linked page. https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FODS-A-835

Story
🐾 Meet Hazel! 🐾 Hazel is a 3-month-old currently weighing in at 16lbs Shepherd/Cattle Dog blend, and this girl is the BEST! ❤️ She is extremely smart, loving, happy, playful…and did I mention SMART?! 🤓🐶 Hazel has that wonderful combination of traits you often see in Shepherds and Cattle Dogs—intelligent, loyal, eager to learn, attentive and devoted to her people. She loves figuring things out and wants to please, which should make training with her both fun and rewarding. She also has an adventurous little spirit! Hazel is curious about the world, ready to explore and always looking for her next fun activity. Whether she’s learning something new, playing with her doggie friends, investigating the backyard or soaking up attention from her people, she approaches life with a happy, enthusiastic attitude. Shepherds and Cattle Dogs are known for being bright, trainable and people-oriented, and Hazel is already showing those qualities at just three months old. She would thrive with a family who will continue teaching her new things, keep that clever mind busy and include her in their adventures. ✨ Smart + sweet + playful + adventurous + eager to please = one AMAZING little girl! Hazel has so much potential, and we can’t wait to see what this special girl becomes with a family of her very own.

Story
We have had Dahlia for 2 years. She came to us as a rescue from a shelter. She is now a 3-year old healthy, wonderful dog. She has no bite history, has never shown aggression, and is the most patient and loving dog with people, especially children. She's currently living with another two large dogs and we used to foster dogs. She can be dominant but never had a serious problem with another dogs. She is reactive to all animals. Especially reactive to small prey animals (rabbits, squirrels, etc.).
