Raven is my name and kind of like a raven, I am a 'loner'... except for the puppies i had when I arrived at the rescue... I was saved by a trapper on the streets, they weren't even there to save ME that day, but they did!!! I am obviously a beautiful girl, big and solid as well as black and brindly. I am a loving girl, in my own way... i lived on the streets for who knows how long and I honestly am not a cuddly girl or even a sit by your feet dog, YET... I have all kinds of love to give, you can see in my eyes that I have always dreamed of someone with the patience to love me for who I am and who I can be!! I am great on a leash and do love walking around and exploring. I am good with other dogs and likely would do best with another dog who is calm and confident with his/her family. I am so so ready for you, I have the shepherd double coat so I will shed in your house, must have a great vacuum cleaner and tolerance of hair :) Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Bagel is 2 years old. She is sweet, energetic, and VERY smart. She loves to run around the house like a crazy dog, chew her rawhide, terrorize/play with our older dog, and walks. She LOVES walks. Our kids are nuts about her. She is a very smart dog. She blows through the “puzzle feeders” in no time at all. She’s also not getting anywhere near the stimulation/activity she needs. She gets 2 short walks a day and some love in the mornings & evenings when we are home, but she spends 8 hours a day in her crate. What we are hoping to find is a home for her with someone who’s active and able to give her more activity. She would make an incredible farm dog, or a great companion for a person with an active lifestyle.
