Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi! I’m Mighty Mike, but my humans call me Mikey! I’m a very sweet and affectionate almost 5-year-old shepherd mix. Here are some of the best things about me: - I’m the biggest cuddle bug you’ll ever meet. If there’s a lap to be sat on I want to sit in it! I just love snuggling up to my humans. - I love going on walks and going for drives (I’m great in the car!). I also love pup cups, treats, taking naps, and chewing on bones! - I’m fully crate and potty trained, plus I know basic commands, but I would love to work on some training to learn even more. I’m a bit of a jumping jelly bean but we’re working on that! - I’m eager to please and pick up on training really quickly -  I do great with other dogs as long as they’re not too rambunctious. I like to play some, but mostly just want to do my own thing. I'd love to go to a loving family who will include me in their activities. I love all humans that I meet and do really well around kids, but sometimes I can get overly excited, so a home with kids over 8 years old would be best for me. And no kitties for me, please! Want to be my best buddy? Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Charmin Carmen – Your Loyal Shadow and Gentle Sweetheart   Charmin Carmen is a 2-ish-year-old German Shepherd mix with a heart as big as her beautiful brown eyes. At 62 pounds, she’s still gaining weight, but her spirit is already strong and full of love. Sweet, affectionate, and endlessly loyal, Charmin Carmen is the kind of dog who wants nothing more than to be part of every moment—she’s got a little FOMO and loves to be wherever you are, soaking up attention and joining in on the fun. Charmin Carmen is wonderfully gentle and patient with kids, great with other dogs, and even gets along beautifully with cats and chickens. She truly is a gem. She is also: •Crate trained •House trained •Dog-door trained •Food motivated and eager to learn   She does have a Level 5 heart murmur, which she manages with daily medication costing about $200 per month. Carmen handles her meds like a champ, and they help her live a happy, comfortable life. Also, due to her heart murmur, she isn’t able to be safely spayed so her adopter will need to agree to keep her away from un-neutered males unsupervised. It wouldn’t be good for her to get pregnant.   Carmen is “very sweet with everyone,” but what makes her truly special is how deeply she bonds with her people. If you’re looking for a warm, devoted companion who will follow you with unwavering love, Carmen is your girl. Carmen is ready for her forever home—a place where she can be safe, cherished, and included in all the moments she loves.   If you think you might be the perfect match for Carmen, fill out an application to meet her today!  https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 4, 2025, 3:29 pm

Story
Meet my gentle girl Xena. This sweet, cuddly pup is a true soft soul with a heart full of love. Once she feels safe, her goofy personality shines with silly antics, warm snuggles, and the kind of loyalty that melts your heart. She adores quiet affection and will happily curl up beside you for cozy cuddle time. But she can also be very goofy and fun! She loves play time! At first, she can be very shy and timid. New people and new places can feel overwhelming, so she needs a patient, understanding home that will let her open up at her own pace. With kindness and consistency, she blossoms into a devoted companion who bonds deeply with her person. She would do best as the only dog in the home, where she can feel secure and receive all the love and attention she deserves. A calm environment and a gentle routine will help her thrive. If you are looking for a tender, loving companion who just needs a little time to trust, this sweet girl is ready to quietly steal your heart. 🐾

Story
Hello, this beautiful girl is Nova Nova is just over 2 years old, born on July 2, 2023, and she is truly one of a kind. Nova is full of life and joy. She has a high-energy, adventurous spirit and would absolutely thrive in a home with someone who enjoys being active and spending time outdoors. Walks, playtime, and exploring the world are some of her favorite things. She loves water whether it's playfully attacking the hose, splashing around in a kiddie pool, or just enjoying a fun summer day, water brings out her happiest, goofiest side. She has the silliest personality and is always doing something to make you laugh. Nova loves to run and play, but she also has a wonderful off-switch and will happily curl up with you for a long nap or quiet rest time. She is incredibly affectionate and bonds deeply with her person. Nova does well with kids though because she is a bigger girl and full of enthusiasm, she may accidentally knock little ones over. I just want to see her go to a loving home

Story
With those amazing ears, Zealand must hear everything! This six-year-old shepherd is reportedly good with both kids and other dogs. His previous people report that he came from a busy household and was suvvessfully exposed to other pups quite frequently. Zealand has spent a lot of his life as an outdoor dog, so he will need a loving friend to help him learn some indoor manners. The right home will also help him to slim down a bit as Zealand is a little on the plump side (more to love!) A gift bag with a harness and leash goes home with lovely "Z." Meet this beautiful boy today!
