Dot the Shepherd Puppy's Story Arriving in WI on January 9th! Dot is an adorable 4 month old female puppy. She currently weighs about 20 pounds, and we anticipate her to be large breed when fully grown. She has a beautiful tan coat with a dark muzzle. Dot and her siblings ended up at a shelter in rural Texas due to no fault of their own. She is excited to come to Wisconsin and find her forever home. Dot loves people and plays well with other dogs. She is working hard on her potty training skills, but her forever family should be prepared to do more training while she learns the routine in her new home. She is up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and she comes with her medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies her to be in good condition. She will be arriving in Muskego, WI on Friday, January 9th, and will be available to meet, and take home if she is a good fit, by the first family to have placed an exclusive hold deposit as set out below. Her adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. We use those funds to support our program of readying additional dogs, puppies and kittens which we transport and adopt out in the northern United States. Our goal is to get as many homeless animals out of south eastern Texas, where we have a severe pet overpopulation crisis. She is available for an exclusive hold with a deposit of $250, which we give on a first come, first served, basis. The balance of the adoption fee is due upon meeting/finalizing the adoption on Friday January 9th. If upon meeting, she is not a good fit for your family, the deposit is refundable. We ask that you are serious about your intent to adopt before placing a deposit, so as not to prevent her from finding his forever family in the meantime, as we only accept one deposit per dog. Introducing Kai, a 7 year old female Dutch shepherd. She has lived a wonderful life and has been well cared for and socialized but her owner has come into hard times and has to make the incredibly hard decision to find her a new home. He loves her so much and knows she deserves the world that he can’t provide. Please no rude comments, he is heartbroken. Kai is an incredibly intelligent dog. She absolutely adores people. She is 7 years old but she is still ready for adventures. Kai will need a family that will provide daily exercise and then a couch to sleep on! Kai is good with other dogs, especially male dogs. She has also been around cats and was great with them. Kai has been professionally trained and is housetrained. Kai is located in Huntsville AL. Bruce is guessed to be between ten months and one year old - he is very much a clumsy boy who is learning how to be a grown up. He will, like all dogs, require continued training. That said, he does not have wild puppy energy, though he does love to play, and he knows quite a few asks already like sit, down, and leave it. He walks very well on a leash, and has gotten along with all of the dogs and kids he's met. He doesn't have any cat friends, but, based on his demeanor, it's likely he'll do just fine with appropriate introductions. Bruce is about sixty pounds, and he's working on gaining weight. He also still may be growing, pending his age, so there is a chance he will be closer to a typical GSD-size (70+ pounds). It's suspected that Bruce is a 'pure bred,'* but we don't know for sure, and, also, we couldn't care less. He's perfect no matter what! Bruce is potty trained and is working on crate training. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and diagnostics, on prevention.
