Story
Lady is an adorable 4 month old female puppy. She currently weighs about 20 pounds, and we anticipate her to be medium sized breed when fully grown. She has a beautiful brindle coat. Lady and her siblings ended up at a shelter in rural Texas due to no fault of their own. She is excited to come to Wisconsin and find her forever home. Lady loves people of all ages and plays well with other dogs. She can be a little shy at first, but with patience she comes out of her shell. She is potty trained in her foster home, but her forever family should be prepared to do more training while she learns the routine in her new home. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and she comes with her medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies her to be in good condition. Her adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. We use those funds to support our program of readying additional dogs, puppies and kittens which we transport and adopt out in the northern United States. Our goal is to get as many homeless animals out of south eastern Texas, where we have a severe pet overpopulation crisis. If you’re not already familiar with our group, please feel free to visit our Group Page at https://www.facebook.com/groups/TxRescueRidersCommunity If you are serious about this pup, please contact us at DogTrailRides@gmail.com. We take payments through Zelle, Venmo, or CashApp, or we can take card numbers over the phone and process them through Square. All of these methods provide a receipt. Story
Introducing Kai, a 7 year old female Dutch shepherd. She has lived a wonderful life and has been well cared for and socialized but her owner has come into hard times and has to make the incredibly hard decision to find her a new home. He loves her so much and knows she deserves the world that he can’t provide. Please no rude comments, he is heartbroken. Kai is an incredibly intelligent dog. She absolutely adores people. She is 7 years old but she is still ready for adventures. Kai will need a family that will provide daily exercise and then a couch to sleep on! Kai is good with other dogs, especially male dogs. She has also been around cats and was great with them. Kai has been professionally trained and is housetrained. Kai is located in Huntsville AL. We are needing to find her a forever home by the end of the month! If you are interested in adopting Kai, please fill out an application on our website forrescue.net

Story
Dynamo is described by his foster as the super sweet puppy who flies under the radar. He is the second smallest of his litter, and loves to snuggle up and cuddle with anyone who will let him! While he is overall pretty chill, he doesn't forget to tell his littermates who is boss when he needs to. Dynamo and his littermates were born in Wisconsin, after their very pregnant momma arrived from Texas on November 14th...just hours before going into labor with the pups on November 15th. He’s had a calm, loving start to life, giving him a great foundation as he grows. Sky gets along great with other dogs, is fostered with children and loves them, and has started his potty training. His new family should be prepared to continue with his training as he learns the new routine in his forever home. He is up to date on vaccines, dewormed, microchipped and vet checked, and he comes with his medical records. His adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. Story
Meet Sheriff! Don’t let his size fool you—Sheriff may be the smallest of the litter, but he’s got a big, bold personality to match his name. This spunky, feisty little shepherd puppy is full of curiosity and confidence, always ready to investigate new sights, sounds, and toys. He’s playful, energetic, and knows how to keep things entertaining with just the right amount of puppy mischief. Sheriff is already making great progress with potty training and will go outside when taken out on a schedule. He loves playing with other dogs and holds his own despite being the littlest one. He absolutely adores kids and happily follows them around to see what they’re up to, making him a fun and engaging companion for a family. Like most puppies his age, Sheriff is in a nippy phase and will benefit from continued positive training, structure, and plenty of appropriate chew toys. Because he’s a shepherd with a feisty streak, experience with shepherds or other high-drive dogs would be a big plus. Sheriff is ready to trade his badge for a forever home filled with love, laughter, and lots of cuddles. If you’re looking for a pint-sized pup with a big personality, Sheriff could be your pawfect match!   Sheriff's  Adoption fee is $300 if adopted by 1/30. Sheriff is eligible for our Puppy Starter Package, included in his $300 adoption fee. New puppy parents will go home with a small bag of puppy food, martingale collar, leash, a small Mumbies chew, and puppy treats — everything you need to start off with success from day one.     All of our animals reside in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their perfect match. If you are interested in meeting this animal, please complete an adoption application on our website: https://www.BestPawsRescue.com   Spay/Neuter PolicyAny animal that has not been spayed or neutered at the time of adoption will require a signed Spay/Neuter Agreement and a refundable $100 deposit (payable by check or electronic payment). The procedure must be completed within six (6) months of the adoption date. Once Best Paws Rescue receives acceptable proof of the spay/neuter procedure, the deposit will be refunded to the adopter.Failure to comply with the terms of the Spay/Neuter Agreement within the required six (6) months will result in forfeiture of the deposit. If the procedure is performed by one of Best Paws Rescue’s approved veterinary partners, the full cost of the spay/neuter is covered by the adoption fee. Ages and breeds are our best estimates, and we cannot make any guarantees. Most of our animals come from overcrowded shelters with limited resources. We do our best to evaluate each animal’s behavior and medical needs and place them into loving foster homes until they are ready to go home with you. Our organization is operated entirely by dedicated volunteers who give their time and love out of the goodness of their hearts. ##2621186##

Story
Meet Mario, a shepherd puppy who is impossible to resist. With his sleek black coat and expressive little face, he turns heads wherever he goes—but it’s his personality that truly steals the show. He’s playful, affectionate, and always ready to make new friends, whether that’s with people or toys. Mario is doing well with his potty training and is learning the ropes with regular trips outside. He adores kids and thrives on interaction, soaking up attention and giving plenty of kisses in return. He loves soft toys, snuggles, and snacks, but strongly dislikes being cold or outside for too long. He may also be part bat, as he’s always alert and keeping an eye on everything around him. Mario isn’t the biggest fan of baths, nail clipping, or rain, but with patience and positive reinforcement, he’s sure to gain confidence. Smart, active, and eager to learn, he’s a fun and rewarding pup who will grow into a great companion. If your home is ready for puppy antics, laughter, and lots of snuggles, Mario could be your Pawfect Match. Mario's Adoption fee is $300 if adopted by 1/30.
