Story
"Hi there! I’m Rasmus – and I’m ready to meet my forever family! I am 1 year old, a Feist (type of terrier) mix, around 30 pounds, full of energy, and your classic playful puppy! Life is all about fun for me—chasing toys, playing tug-of-war, and zooming around the yard with my doggy friends. I'm currently living with my foster mom, dad and their 3-year-old boy who I adore! We play together all the time—he throws the ball, I fetch it (most of the time), and we both giggle (well, he giggles, I wag). I’d absolutely love a home where I can have both two-legged and four-legged buddies to play with. Kids? Yes please! Other dogs? Even better! I'm a social pup who thrives on companionship, fun, and belly rubs. I’ve got lots of love to give, a tail that never stops wagging, and a heart full of puppy joy. If you’re looking for a sweet, silly, loving pup to grow up with your family, I just might be your perfect match. Love, Ras" Ras is a Louisiana rescue pup looking for a new life up North. Ras is crate trained and doing well with house training and leash walking. His photos just don't capture his sweetness. Please check out his videos to see Ras in action being adorable. Ras' photo album with the sweetest videos of him with a toddler: https://photos.app.goo.gl/cWTeKsvq4MyLFn8b7 Ras is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, 4DX negative for heartworm and tick borne diseases, and current on heartworm/flea/tick prevention and deworming. All this sweet little boy needs is a home! PAWS of NE LA was formed in 2003. We are a small foster-based rescue and have been sending our special Southern pets to fabulous Northern homes since 2010. We work with a wonderful transport who has stops in many Northeastern / New England states: VT, CT, NY, NJ, PA, etc.

WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org 🌋🐾 Meet Pacaya — Adventure Enthusiast, Water Lover & Certified Good Girl 🐾🌋 Hi! I’m Pacaya, an athletic, happy, and downright charismatic girl with a heart full of joy and paws made for exploring. I’m friendly, engaging and I has got a gorgeous coat that goes from a warm tan to a rich red when the sun hits me just right. I'm always ready for the next adventure — especially if it involves hiking, swimming and exploring(yes, I take the scenic route whenever possible). If you love the outdoors, we’re already best friends. Trails? I’m in. Lakes? I’m already splashing. Hills? I’ll meet you at the top, tail wagging proudly. I thrive with an active person or family who enjoys getting out and doing things — I make an excellent hiking buddy, jogging partner, or “let’s-see-what’s-over-there” companion. But don’t let my athletic side fool you — once the adventure is done, I’m all about the wind-down life. Belly rubs, ear scratches, and lounging with my people are absolute perfection. I’m not wild or frantic — just a well-balanced girl who knows when to go full throttle and when to relax like a pro. 🐾 Pacaya at a Glance: ✔️ ~2 years old, ~40 lbs of happy athletic energy ✔️ Friendly, confident, and full of personality ✔️ Loves hiking, swimming, and climbing ✔️ Great with other dogs ✔️ House trained and well-mannered ✔️ Smart, attentive, and eager to engage with her people A quick note from management: while I adore dogs and humans, cats and chickens are not on my guest list. (Nothing personal — just best to admire them from afar.) I bring joy into every space I enter, communicate with my bright eyes and expressive personality, and truly enjoy being part of a family. I pay attention, listen well, and love being involved in whatever my humans are doing — especially if it ends with a nap under the fan. If you’re searching for an active, loving, adventurous companion who’s equal parts fun and affectionate, I might just be your perfect match. 🌟 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and let Pacaya lead you into your next great adventure! 🐾💛

Big heart. Lifetime of love to give. Little Brother is a 6-year-old male Chihuahua, weighing about 10 lbs, and he’s the kind of dog who quietly works his way right into your heart. He gets along great with other dogs and has a gentle, friendly nature that makes him an easy companion. When you first meet him, Little Brother may take a moment to check things out — but that doesn’t last long. He warms up quickly and soon becomes sweet, engaging, and affectionate, happy to be near his people and included in whatever’s going on. He’s the perfect mix of calm and charming, with just enough personality to keep you smiling. A special bond: Little Brother has spent the last 5 years living with his best friend, Chocolate Donut. They don’t have to be adopted together, but it would be truly wonderful if they could stay side by side. They bring comfort and familiarity to one another and clearly share a deep bond. Little Brother would do beautifully in a home looking for a loving, low-key companion — whether that’s a quiet lap to curl up in, a cozy couch to relax on, or a house with other friendly dogs. If you’re ready to welcome a loyal little soul into your life (or maybe even two!), Little Brother is ready to meet you. Adoption application: www.wtfarmtn.org
