Meet Lola & Libby ❤️🐾
Redheads can be a little spicy… and these two are no exception!
Lola and Libby are two adorable redheaded Chihuahuas with big personalities, loving hearts, and plenty of charm. We believe Lola is likely Libby’s mom, and while they aren’t necessarily a bonded pair, they truly enjoy each other’s company. They love to play, nap side-by-side, and cuddle up with their people.
These sweet girls came from a heartbreaking hoarding situation in the Rio Grande Valley, where more than 60 dogs were living in a backyard. Despite their difficult past, Lola and Libby have remained happy, resilient little dogs who are ready to leave their old lives behind and start their next chapter.
The best news? Both girls have successfully completed their heartworm treatment and are now fully vetted, healthy, and ready for adoption. They have also had their dentals completed, and Lola had a fatty mass removed from her leg. Their medical journeys are behind them, and they’re ready to focus on what matters most—finding loving families.
Lola is approximately 8–10 years old and weighs about 10 pounds. Libby is approximately 5 years old and also weighs about 10 pounds.
They can be adopted together or separately, but because they’ve been through so much and have waited so long for their chance at happiness, they have a special adoption fee of just $150 each or $200 for the pair.
