Story
Woody is a very sweet, very loving senior dog with a lot of life left in him. While he does not enjoy being pet, he loves to snuggle and be close to his person at all times. Despite having chronic pain, he still enjoys walks and adventures. He is mostly indifferent to other animals as long as they give him space, but will defend his territory if needed and can therefore not live with persistent or reactive animals. For 15 years, Woody was in a bonded pair with his sibling, who passed in November 2024. Since then, he has needed a full-time human companion. I have been unable to work outside the home because of this and can no longer provide for my own basic needs while also caring for him. He gets extremely stressed with left alone and struggles increasingly with incontinence. He has a heart condition and takes multiple medications daily. I love him deeply and hope to find someone who can enjoy his companionship in the time he has remaining.

Poor innocent, sweet & forgotten about Gapy, was ready to be euthanized in a death camp of a scary shelter in CA. He had zero public interest & zero rescue interest on social media. An email went out for help & this beautiful boy was on that list. Yes, it appears at the age of 3 he was going to die which is absolutely unacceptable. We rescued this beautiful boy & 2 other sweet baby dolls out of that same kill shelter from that very same kill list all at once. That day was 1 very sad & joyous day all at the same time. Gapy who is now looking for his very own forever home who will never give up on him again & love him just as his foster mum & we do. After we got Gapy all his care with his amazing foster mum he will be bought back to WA state from CA where he can’t wait to find his loving forever home. We truly believe that Gapy was originally someone’s dog & they just did not want him anymore from his mannerisms & his behavior of knowing certain things. All this boy wants is to be loved & have a home to call his own. Disturbing to think no one wanted him & he was ready to die. The level of absolute madness here is so deeply sad for many of these beautiful souls out of CA kill shelters. When we got him out of the shelter his nails were so extremely long & his nails were clipped by our vets but will need to be & regularly dremeled to get them to a good place. Gapy at times can have a big personality & knows what he wants. He isn’t the biggest cuddler but enjoys being patted & being loved. He is a independent little man. That being said, Gapy is a good eater, he loves to eat & he is making up for lost time & put on weight instantly in his foster home. Gapy’s new forever home must have a fully fenced secured backyard. He also enjoys sunning himself in the backyard & also sitting on the couch & looking out the window, he really enjoys taking in the sites. But he will also do his own thing. Gapy has been great with his baths because he started having them with us the moment he was rescued so he is used to them. Gapy rides beautifully in the car & enjoys a good journey & still needs continued work walking on his harness & leash. But has done amazing in his foster home. We are looking for a forever home for Gapy where someone is home during the day or he can go with his people wherever possibly he can go with them & there must be another dog in the home for him to thrive. Gapy loves other dogs & needs another dog in the home to play with. This is mandatory for his new home. This boy enjoys going into a crate sometimes so that tells us that someone used to call him to go into a crate. In his foster home he sleeps in the bed with his foster mum or will sleep on the dog bed. Gapy is looking for a forever home who will cherish him & love him as he should be loved & be patient with him. Gapy has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & he is currently with other dogs & was fostered in CA with other dogs & does well with them & enjoys their company. It’s mandatory for him to be in a home with a playful dog. Gapy is roughly just over 6 years old & 21 lbs & is perhaps a dachshund & chihuahua mix, (chiweenie), male. He had a dental & polish & we got him neutered. Gapy is, microchipped, heart worm negative, up to date on his shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, rabies & dewormed. We are currently treating Gapy for a bad skin infection. We have spent far more on Gapy, with all of his medical care getting him well thank his adoption fee comes close to covering with, neuter, paying his shelter fee to get him out of the shelter, shots, flea meds, dewormer, boarding, dental scale & polish etc. Gapy has been around cats since being in the rescue & did well with the cat in his foster home but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together. Just because he got along fine with the cat in the foster home doesn’t mean he will get along with all cats. We have not had him around small children so we do not recommend small children & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children. We were not there when Gapy was conceived so we do not know who his parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think his breed is. As with all of our rescues & Gapy’s friends he will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Gapy potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Gapy has been through many traumas in his short time on this earth so when applying this needs to be kept in mind & for his care. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Gapy & going through our process and have read his listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a virtual home visit due to covid & followed by a meet and greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Gapy who understands his needs & that meet all the requirements for this spirited little chap. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Gapy has an adoption fee of $750 & is ready for his truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what he has been through.

Story
This tiny 7-year-old Chihuahua is 8 pounds of sweetness, charm, and squeaky-toy enthusiasm. Minerva arrived at ECPR after a long rescue journey and is now ready for a forever home that will cherish her gentle spirit and support her ongoing medical needs. Minerva is a low-energy girl who lives for cozy laps, soft beds, and quiet companionship. She does well with other dogs and cats, though she prefers to keep her toys to herself, and would do best in a home with adults or teens 15+. She’s comfortable in her kennel, adapts well to apartment living, and is content with short, simple outings — leash and potty training will still be a learning process for her. This little lady has several long-term medical considerations, including protein-losing enteropathy, heart valve disease, and some kidney monitoring needs. She’s stable, comfortable, and feeling good, but will need a family committed to keeping her on her prescription diet, her medications, and her recommended vet check-ins. In return, she offers endless snuggles, polite companionship, and her signature move — celebrating every squeaky toy like it’s the best thing she’s ever seen. Minerva may be small, but her heart is huge. She’s looking for a calm, loving home where she can feel safe, supported, and adored for exactly who she is. If you’re ready to give this special girl the soft landing she deserves, Minerva would love to meet you.

✅️Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to LAX💟 The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate. Meet Jerry💛 💙 Jerry’s Foster Account: @puppyhousuk 1⃣ Health Condition * Not spayed yet. * Microchipped. 2⃣ Rescue Story * Jerry was living at the Gimje City Shelter. She was waiting for someone to hold out a hand to her, but no one showed up to be her family. The weather was becoming colder and it was determined that it would be hard for Jerry to live at the shelter under poor conditions, so Adogs urgently rescued her. 3⃣ Basic Information ❗️As a puppy, she may need training in areas such as separation anxiety, potty habits, biting, nipping, whining, disorderly behaviors, howling and barking. ❗️It is difficult to predict her shedding and growth size because her parents are unknown. * With People: Even when she is with the caregiver, she gets scared of strangers, tucks her tail and freezes up. Once familiar, she shows her playful and adorable side. When with her foster parent, she sticks by their side, plays with her toys, naps, and even shows her belly. Is a bit wary of people standing and moving around; she usually keeps her distance and retreats to her kennel. * With Dogs: Got along well with other dogs at our center. Hasn’t met any dog friends since moving to her foster home. * With Cats: Hasn’t met them yet. * Separation Anxiety: Plays alone well without anxiety and sleeps alone well going into the room. Gets anxious and whines for her guardian when left alone with a stranger. * Potty Training: Has an accuracy rate of 99% pottying indoors on potty pads but she tries to move away before she's completely done pooping. * Hygiene: Gets a bath once a month. Was terrified but managed to stay brave through the nail trim. * Walks: Her vaccinations are not complete, so she hasn’t been on any walks. * Car Sickness: Didn’t show any signs of car sickness. * Doesn’t bite, but may nibble or nip since she’s still a teething puppy. Has started chewing on her paws pads recently, but not to an excessive degree. * Whines quietly when left alone in an unfamiliar environment. Barks once or twice when he is excited. * Feels comfortable in her kennel and goes inside whenever she's scared or wants to rest. Loves doing nosework with homemade toys like towels, tissue boxes, and plastic bottles. Is obsessed with toys that make sounds, like crinkly or squeaky toys and balls. * Is very timid and easily scared of unfamiliar places, situations and people. Especially around strangers, she just freezes up and tries to avoid people. * Already knows how to "sit", "lie down", "paw", "touch", and "V",

Story
Bori is a mature, gentle girl who spent a long time in a shelter before being rescued. She is the kind of dog whose presence is so quiet that you might not even notice she’s there— soft, calm, and unobtrusive. She rarely barks and enjoys simply staying close to her person. From the very first moment you meet her, she’s the kind of dog who makes you think, “I just want to hold her.” Bori’s personality is pure gentleness. She is calm, well-mannered, and never disruptive to the atmosphere of a home. She stays quietly by your side, which somehow makes you care for her even more, with a tender feeling in your heart. One important note: Bori tends to chase cats, so a home without cats would be best for her. In a new environment, she may have a few potty accidents at first due to nervousness. With a little time and patience, she will adjust and gradually settle in. Bori doesn’t ask for much. A quiet space, a patient person, and a family willing to spend calm, unhurried time together is all she needs. She isn’t overly affectionate or demanding, but just having her nearby is comforting in itself. That’s the kind of dog Bori is. She is no longer looking to be alone— she is waiting for a family who will stay quietly by her side, just as she will for them. 🐾🤍

Story
🏠 Currently in a Vancouver foster home Hi, my name is Dabok. I’m a Pomeranian mix boy, and I’m estimated to be about 2 years old. I weigh 6.4kg (14.1 lb), which makes me a small, fluffy bundle of love. With my soft white fur, gentle eyes, and the way I wag my tail as I walk up to you, people often tell me I melt their hearts the moment they see me. That’s my special charm—and I love sharing it. But my life didn’t always look this warm and gentle. I was rescued from a shelter where the risk of euthanasia was extremely high. The environment was harsh, and illness was everywhere. Each day, I waited—without knowing if tomorrow would come. And then, at the very last moment, a miracle happened. I was rescued and given another chance at life. Because of what I’ve been through, I treasure human touch and love more than anything. Even the smallest bit of attention means the world to me, and I open my heart sincerely to those who show me kindness. I’m an active yet incredibly affectionate boy. I get along wonderfully with women, men, and children, and I socialize very well with other dogs without conflict. When you pet me, I naturally lean into you, because connecting with people is something I truly enjoy. People often say I feel like I was born to be someone’s companion dog—and I think they’re right. I’m also great on walks! I don’t pull on the leash and walk calmly by your side. I don’t overreact to strangers or other dogs, so our walks together will be peaceful and relaxing. I do well in the car, I’m crate trained, and I’m already trained for outdoor potty habits. That said, when I move into a brand-new environment, I may have a few potty accidents at first. But I already understand the concept, and with love, patience, and a consistent routine, I’ll quickly adjust again. Your understanding and gentle guidance will give me a sense of safety and help me build deep trust with you. My ideal forever family is someone who can embrace my past, see mistakes as part of growing together, and wants to share everyday joys with a loyal companion. If I meet that family, I promise to give back with unwavering trust, a warm presence always by your side, and endless love. I once stood at the door of euthanasia. Now, I stand here—ready to learn love, and ready to give it back. I’m Dabok, and I’m ready to become someone’s forever family.
