Story
HI - I'M GOOSE! I'm a 1-1/2-year-old flat coat retriever-lab mix in need of a foster or forever home! (Shelter paperwork says I'm 3 but I act like a puppy and still have puppy tendencies.) I was rescued from a crowded California shelter along with my brother, who recently got adopted. I am good with other dogs and a lovebug with people. I'm basically a happy, energetic boy who would love my own home where I can be walked, petted, taken on outings or road trips and given the love and attention I so deserve. I would do best with someone who works from home or who is retired but wants a younger dog. I weigh about 55-60 lbs. I'm currently in the Portland area and available to meet! Please email for an application.

Story
Fig Fern is proof that sometimes the cutest things come in wonderfully confusing packages. At first glance, you'd swear she was still a puppy, complete with her fluffy coat, bright-eyed expression, and delightfully playful spirit. Then you spend a little time with her and realize this little lady has already mastered the art of being an easy, well-mannered companion. She somehow manages to be both adorable enough to make people do a double take and mature enough to fit seamlessly into everyday life. Go watch Fig Fern on YouTube, then come right back to read more about this petite-perfection-sweetheart. If tiny happy hops, fluffy ears, and stuffed toy enthusiasm sound like your kind of entertainment, you're in for a treat. https://youtu.be/PANfKoJlXKY Estimated to be around 3 years old, Fig is a rescue, so her breed and age are simply our best guess. What we know for certain is that she is a delightfully dainty 32 lbs, irresistibly fluffy, and somehow looks like she accidentally hit the "stay puppy forever" button. Fig has the kind of personality that's wonderfully easy to live with. She's playful without being nonstop, affectionate without being demanding, and happy to join whatever the day has in store. Whether she's proudly carrying around one of her beloved stuffed toys, following you from room to room, or curling up nearby after a little play session, she has a way of making a house feel instantly warmer. She gets along beautifully with other dogs and has the easygoing social skills that make sharing life with canine companions feel effortless. Whether she's making a new friend or simply coexisting peacefully, Fig brings a calm, friendly energy wherever she goes. She has spent her life with canine companionship and although she is confident and people oriented, she would love a home with a friendly, playful mate in addition to a loving family. Her foster family praises her wonderful house manners, and it's easy to see why. Fig settles into home life naturally, making her the kind of dog who feels less like a project and more like a longtime companion from the very beginning. She has that rare balance of playful fun and relaxed contentment that fits beautifully into so many different lifestyles. If you've been hoping to find a dog who's equal parts adorable, affectionate, playful, and wonderfully uncomplicated, Fig might just be your perfect match. She's the kind of little dog who quietly steals hearts without ever trying too hard. Fig is being fostered in a loving home and is ready to find a forever family of her very own. WOOF! I'M ROCCO! I'm a 2-year-old Border Collie-Flat-Coat mix in need of a foster or forever home! I was recently rescued from a crowded California shelter, where I was impounded as a stray. I then was adopted, but returned less than 24 hours later as someone in the house had allergies. Fortunately I was rescued and now am ready for a foster or forever home! I have done great with other dogs and am a happy, playful boy. I love to play with other dogs and hang out with humans. I weigh 59 lbs. Could you foster or adopt me? I'm currently in California but can be transported to Oregon. Please email for an application.

Story
I got Roscoe from the Portland Humane Society three years ago and he has developed into an amazing dog. He can surprise easily but I keep him on a tight gentle leader and he does alright. He’s been a very loyal and loving companion and loves to play and is very good around the apartment.I need to let him go due to a new job that will require me to travel. He’s a great dog.I live in Hillsboro, Oregon and will waive adoption fee for a good home for him. it would be great if he could find a home with no kids and an enclosed yard as he loves being outside.I need to travel for work so so am willing to consider a short term foster or rehome if the new owners love him

Story
I'm a handsome, sweet boy with calm submissive energy. The DNA results from his brother show he's 56% golden retriever mixed with husky and lab. He's not big on toys but loves people and is very affectionate. He'll give you the best greeting, sitting up on his hind legs waving his paws in the air just so excited to see you! I have a very long work day. He'll do best with someone who is home at least half the day. He hasn't been around young children but is eager to meet them. He loves to snuggle up on the sofa and loves his walks! He loves to explore and doesn't mind busy places. Unfortunately, he does not like the car. I cannot keep him because he really needs a human around more. Also, I have a whippet who wants to play and chase. Unfortunately, they were mismatched. No aggression issues. He's good with all dogs. I've had him about a year as it's been a very hard decision to rehome him. I want him in a home where he's getting more attention and is loved.

Story
Meet sweet Marra!Marra is the sweetest lady you will ever meet. She has had a very hard start to life. Found at a dump in California, riddled with mange and underweight, she still did everything to nurse her newborns surrounded by garbage.Upon rescue, she was unsure of humans. Would submit and lay down with every person she saw. We suspect she has never been in a home, but strangers took care of her on the streets. With a month of training in Oregon, Marra has come a long way! She is the sweetest, most gentle, quiet lady who just loves to be loved. She is excited everytime our kid volunteers walk her, loves snuggling on the couch with her humans, and never says no to walks.Marra is a very easy going girl. She is amazing on the leash, great with other dogs, crate and potty trained and always eager to learn more!Because she is so calm, a low key environment full of love is her ideal home!Marra is a red pit mix, 3 years old, around 45lbs. She is spayed, microchipped and current on vaccines. If interested in finally giving this girl her forever happy ending please text her trainer Linda at (503) 707-1905 or fill out the app below.Marra is a courtesy post for Imagine Peace for Pups. ##2720824##
