Story
Brutus is an amazingly loyal and gentle boy with a heart full of love. He forms strong bonds with his people and truly enjoys being part of a quiet, caring household. We got him from a rescue in Tacoma, Washington. He does wonderfully with adults and gets along well with other dogs and even cats. He would thrive in a home without children, where he can enjoy a predictable, calm environment and lots of affection. As an older gentleman age 10, Brutus has slowed down just a step or two, but don’t let that fool you—he still loves his walks and looks forward to getting outside to stretch his legs and explore. His favorite moments, though, are spent cuddled up with his owners, soaking in attention and companionship. He is a sweet, loving soul who has so much devotion to give. He’s looking for a patient, understanding home that will appreciate him for the wonderful companion he is and enjoy sharing quiet walks, cozy evenings, and plenty of love.

Story
Nala is a sweet sweet baby. She is 6 years old. She is great with kids and other pets. Has never bitten anyone and just needs love and attention at all times. She suffers from severe separation anxiety and unfortunately needs someone with her at all times. We have tried to kennel train her when she was a puppy but unfortunately her anxiety is so bad she hurt herself on multiple occasions so we had to stop. She takes trazadone for her anxiety and it helps sometimes but she is known for damaging doors even after being sedated. She needs someone that can give her the love and care around the clock. She is deserving of someone that has the free time to spend with her or the funds to enroll her in doggy daycare or have a pet sitter when you are not home. She has been in doggy daycare in the past but it unfortunately got too expensive for me to continue. I am very heartbroken to be rehoming but know that someone will love her as much as I do.

Story
HI - I'M JOHNNY, a 10-year-old pit/lab mix waiting for a foster or forever home. I'm super cute with my red & white coloring and my speckled ears! My ideal adopter is a single person who wants a companion, a pal for hanging out, walks, hikes, watching TV, car rides, napping. I love to play fetch, and I listen to basic commands. I tend to bond to one person who will be my soulmate, so couples may not be the best for me because I don't want to share the person I bond with and love. I love scratches and affection! I get bored if left alone too long, so best not to leave me out in the backyard for hours. I'm still quite agile and have been known to jump over a fence in my younger days. I'm not all that trustworthy around other dogs, especially male dogs, so it's best if I'm the only dog in the home. I'm still in good health and I'm basically looking for my forever companion to go for walks or hikes or simply watch TV and snuggle. I weigh about 70 lbs. Can you foster or adopt me? Please email me for an application

Story
MEET COLE! Cole is a handsome 3-year-old Lab-Husky mix in need of a new home! Cole and his brothers and sister were rescued as infants when their mom (a husky-shepherd mix) found herself at a California shelter, nursing her pups. All were adopted, and Cole is still waiting for his forever home! He's currently in a foster home in the Greater Seattle area, but can be transported to Oregon. Cole is very outgoing, and he's great with other dogs. He will do well in a quiet home with an active person or people who have patience, and can take him for walks, hikes and other outings. He weighs about 74 lbs. Please email for an application.

Story
HI - I'M DOMINO! I'm a 3- to 4-year-old Black Lab/Shepherd mix in need of a foster or forever home! I'm sweet, dog friendly and in great health! I was rescued from a crowded California shelter awhile back, and while there I had multiple kennel mates. I love to run and play with other dogs, and I love, love, love the water. I'll gladly jump in the pool or lake, and I love to play with the hose. I am a sweet, active, loving boy who would do well with an active person or people who can take me for walks, hikes and other outings. I'll make a great companion. I weigh about 59 lbs. Can you foster or adopt me? I'm currently in California but can be transported to you in Portland after Labor Day. Please email for an application and additional photos.

Story
HI - I'M LYDIA! I'm a sweet 2-year-old black lab retriever in need of a forever home! I was originally rescued from the California desert, where I was found emaciated and neglected. Today, I weigh 50-55 lbs and am doing great! It took me quite awhile to come out of my shell, as change is hard for me, but now I spend my days playing with other dogs and enjoying life. I love the water! I am great with other dogs and am gentle and submissive. Please email for an application.
